Xu Long fought through the sea of lightning, earned an Immortal Register, and battled Shankui while carrying the Eight Trigrams Formation Diagram toward Feng Fuxi. The diagram passed through a crack in the Heaven Patroler's seal, leaving the Ancestral Spirit's escape in motion.

• Xu Long battled the Thunder Gods in the Center, destroyed two of them, and joined the city lord and the other cultivators as they fought toward the Ancestral Spirit's seal.
• Xu Long entered the Eight Trigrams Formation Diagram's Yin-Yang Map, discovered the ancient registers, and inscribed his Law of Slaughter to receive the Immortal Register.
• Fuxi told Xu Long to breach the Heaven Patroler's sigil and send the Eight Trigrams Formation Diagram inside, but Shankui arrived and attacked him.
• Xu Long and the young man fought Shankui with their sword formations, and Xu Long's weapon destroyed Shankui's incarnation while his true form survived.
• The young man used the Cloud-Hunting Bow to crack the Heaven Patroler's seal, and Xu Long sent the Eight Trigrams Formation Diagram through the opening on a blood dragon.

Xu Long returned from the Land of Exile, prepared for the Heavenly Palace’s plans, and entered the Earth Realm. After surviving the Vast Sea beast tide and breaking through to Earth Immortal, he established Feng Sihu as his servant and reached Pinglu Daoist Sanctuary, where his probing of its formation drew the guards’ suspicion.

• The Ancestral Spirit freed Xu Long from the Heaven Patroler’s attack, and Xu Long absorbed the Thunder Gods’ lightning before escaping through a spatial passage to the Reincarnation Temple.
• The Main God explained the Heavenly Palace’s plan to restore the Earth Realm by draining other worlds, and Xu Long realized that his connection to the Immortal Register put him in opposition to it.
• Xu Long returned to the Yanhuang Divine Kingdom, cultivated to Peak Mahayana, and accepted a mission to the Earth Realm to fuse the Three Realms and destroy the Heavenly Palace’s plan.
• Xu Long arrived in the Earth Realm and traveled through Lai Province, where a Vast Sea tornado and a beast tide swept across the region.
• Xu Long used a Mist Beast energy potion to break through the tribulation and reach Early Earth Immortal, surviving the lightning while the beast tide retreated.
• Xu Long learned from Feng Sihu that the Vast Sea Dragon King might be behind the phenomenon, then bound Feng Sihu as his ghost cultivator servant and left him to guard Rotten Peach Mountain.
• Xu Long reached Pinglu Daoist Sanctuary under the identity of Yunmo, but his attempt to probe its defensive formation activated the twelve linked formations and alarmed the guards.

Xu Long entered Pinglu Daoist Sanctuary to seek a defensive formation, but a beast tide trapped him inside as the Duck Beast King attacked. Perfected Lord Pinglu rallied the cultivators and used the Thousand-Jun Tower against the Beast King, which remained bound but struggled to escape.

• Xu Long bought a four-flag defensive formation and visited the shops of Luo River Valley and Immortal Rosy Cloud Ridge, learning about their wares and ties to ferocious beasts.
• Three cultivators followed Xu Long through the market, but a beast tide forced the sanctuary to seal its defenses before he could draw them outside.
• Zhu Peizi and He Huaibao fought the Duck Beast King’s attacks as the Metal Moat and Boiling Rampart Formation shielded Pinglu Daoist Sanctuary.
• Perfected Lord Pinglu rescued Zhu Peizi and He Huaibao with the Thousand-Jun Tower, then sent Zhu Peizi to lead cultivators against the beast tide.
• Perfected Lord Pinglu forced Xu Long and the remaining cultivators out of the formation to help restrain the Duck Beast King beneath the banners.
• The Duck Beast King broke through the banner formation and killed cultivators, while Xu Long raised a fallen banner and Perfected Lord Pinglu countered its attacks.

Xu Long helped the cultivators resist the Duck Beast King, destroying the resentful spirits it sent against them with mystic lightning and sword qi. The Beast King then escaped skyward with the golden net still attached, turning the formation into a cage that carried the cultivators with it.

• Perfected Lord Pinglu used the banners and the Thousand-Jun Tower to trap and suppress the Duck Beast King, but the beast revealed its nine-headed form and broke through the restraints.
• The Duck Beast King shattered the cultivators’ formation and pursued Xu Long, who led Earth Immortals into the Heavenly Immortals’ formation and stood against the beast with his Dharma Seal.
• Xu Long fought the Duck Beast King with his Dharma Body, sword light, and formation seal, wounding its head and buying time for the banners to be restored.
