Zhenyuanzi then led Wang Hao and Dayu to the Northern Dark to recruit Kunpeng, whose palace escape failed when they sealed the surrounding space.

• Zhenyuanzi tried to flee Five Villages Abbey, but Wang Hao redirected his spatial passage and trapped him beside Wang Hao and Dayu.

• Emperor Dayu completed his reign and joined the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors at Fire Cloud Cave, while Wang Hao resented the Sages for taking the Human Clan's Fortune.

• Haotian realized that the newly appointed Heavenly Court Orthodox Gods came from the Savage Wilderness Human Clan and regretted appealing to Hongjun.
• After Nüwa blasted him into the Chaos Sea, Wang Hao recovered and decided to visit the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors at Fire Cloud Cave.

Yang Jian chose to infiltrate the Chan Sect, while Wang Hao brought Yang Chan to Nüwa, who accepted her as a disciple and was startled when Wang Hao appeared inside her protected domain.

• Wang Hao found Yuan Hong attempting to take the Jade Slip containing the Eight-Nine Mysterious Art and agreed to let him follow, naming him Yuan Hong.

• Wang Hao used Yang Chan to learn the secrets of Nüwa’s formations and slipped into Nüwa Sovereign Heaven, where Nüwa questioned how he had obtained Fuxi’s origin power.

After True Person Taiyi arrived to take Nezha as his disciple, Wang Hao went to Zhaoge to investigate who had manipulated King Zhou into insulting Nüwa.

• Wang Hao visited Li Jing and learned that Taiyi had tried to make Li Jing cut open Nezha’s placenta before Nezha was born.
• Wang Hao revealed that Nezha was Lingzhuzi reborn and told Li Jing to protect his Dao; Li Jing vowed to defend his son.
• Nezha entered the hall, and Wang Hao was stunned by his delicate face and enormous, muscular body, which Li Jing blamed on Nezha swallowing a drop of a Great Wu’s Essence Blood.
• Wang Hao reassured Li Jing that Nüwa had betrothed Nezha to Jin Ning, left Nezha a wisp of life-preserving spiritual light, and departed before True Person Taiyi arrived.
• True Person Taiyi came to take Nezha to cultivate but was dumbfounded by his appearance, while Wang Hao traveled to Zhaoge to investigate the hand behind King Zhou’s poem at Nüwa’s temple.

After King Zhou of Shang wrote a poem that exposed the Primordial Beginning Heavenly Devil’s scheme, Wang Hao and Nüwa confronted the hidden plotters, and the Human Clan and Cult Master Tongtian turned against the Heavenly Venerable of Dao and Virtue and the Heavenly Venerable of Primordial Beginning. The battle ended with the two Sages defeated, and Wang Hao suddenly made his move.

• King Zhou of Shang wrote a poem in Nüwa's temple that named Wang Hao as the Holy King, prompting Wang Hao and Nüwa to reveal and confront the Primordial Beginning Heavenly Devil.
• Sage Zhunti identified the figure as the Heavenly Venerable of Primordial Beginning’s God-and-Devil clone, while Cult Master Tongtian learned that the Heavenly Venerable of Dao and Virtue had helped the scheme and broke with the Three Pure Ones.

He handed Tongtian the treasures to study in exchange for the Green Duckweed Sword, while saying he needed to hurry back to Nüwa.

• The Heavenly Venerable of Dao and Virtue and the Heavenly Venerable of Primordial Beginning withdrew after Wang Hao and Nüwa claimed their supreme treasures, and Nüwa returned to Nüwa Sovereign Heaven.

• Wang Hao gave Cult Master Tongtian the Taiyi Fly Whisk and Three Treasures Jade Ruyi, then asked him for Pangu’s Primordial Spirit to help resurrect the Twelve Ancestral Wu.

The Heavenly Venerable of Dao and Virtue and the Heavenly Venerable of Primordial Beginning decided to recruit the two Sages of the West against Tongtian, while Wang Hao began investigating events in Great Shang.

• Wang Hao spent three hundred million years in Nüwa Sovereign Heaven extracting the Heaven-Opening baleful Qi from the Godslaying Spear and restoring its spirituality with the Karmic Fire Red Lotus's source.
• Wang Hao restored the Godslaying Spear into the Chaos Azure Lotus stem, and the Creation Azure Lotus's three components joined with it to form a stronger lotus.

After the battle turned against Great Shang, Wen Zhong revealed that the retreat was meant to draw hidden enemies of the Human Clan into the open, leaving King Zhou to consider Great Shang's final service to the clan.

• Wang Hao visited King Zhou, learned he had become a devil to resist Great Shang's fate, and left after hearing that King Zhou's sons had joined the Chan Sect.
• King Zhou forged the Emperor's Hatred Demon Saber from the remains and treasures of twenty-nine deceased emperors, adding his own resentment to its power.
• Wen Zhong led Great Shang's army against the Western Zhou with Jie Sect support, while Nezha and Li Jing fought True Person Taiyi and the Chan Sect struggled against its opponents.

Wang Hao’s plan to expose those hostile to the Human Clan unfolded as Cult Master Tongtian activated the Zhu Xian Sword Formation and confronted the four Sages. While the Sages entered the formation and their forces battled outside, Great Shang destroyed Western Zhou and joined the fight against the Chan Sect, leaving the battle turning against the four Sages’ side.

• Wang Hao watched the conflict from afar, having secretly instructed Wen Zhong to expose factions hostile to the Human Clan.
• Cult Master Tongtian activated the Zhu Xian Sword Formation, forcing the four Sages to descend on Western Zhou and abandon their plan to shift the tribulation’s consequences onto the Human Clan.
• Holy Mother Wudang, Holy Mother Guiling, Holy Mother Jinling, and Holy Mother Yunxiao took positions at the formation’s four swords as Cult Master Tongtian completed the formation; the four Sages split up to try to break it.

After four Sages were manipulated into launching a world-destroying attack, Wang Hao and his allies stopped it, and Wang Hao seized their supreme treasures.

• The Heavenly Venerable of Dao and Virtue unleashed One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones, broke through his Zhu Xian Sword Formation, and helped the other Sages break another formation.
