The book's numbers weren't very good at first. I never even imagined it could make the new releases ranking.
At one point, I thought about giving up, but your support and encouragement kept me going. Thank you.
Of course, I should also mention the plot here. First, there's a fairly controversial point that readers have been discussing quite a bit: the currency issue.
I owe you all an apology for that.
To be honest, it never occurred to me at first. I only realized it later, when a reader pointed out that it might cause the currency to depreciate.
So I've been thinking about whether there's a reasonable way to resolve it. But after looking into the financial system of the Douluo World, I found a problem.
The currency in the original Douluo: Legend of the Dragon King had already depreciated terribly.
Or rather, its currency system had completely collapsed.
A single Thousand-Year Soul Spirit could sell for over 100 million, to say nothing of other things. High-level Soul Master items were basically traded for other goods and didn't participate in the currency system at all. In effect, you couldn't buy them even if you had the money.
And I don't have the knowledge in this area to write a solution, either.
So, for a while, I didn't know how to resolve the issue.
In the end, all I can do is regretfully tell you that I really can't explain this one away. Please forgive me.
