"How did it go...?" As soon as Katheryne could move again, Danika asked Tang Wang.
"She said she'd come in three days." Tang Wang nodded. "That's a little sooner than I expected."
"Good." Danika nodded. "In the meantime, I think we should make some preparations for her arrival-"
"Roar!" Just then, a furious roar swept across Mondstadt City, accompanied by howling winds.
A massive wall of wind rose from the ground, completely obscuring the cold, hard city walls. In the sky, an enormous flying dragon glowed cyan as it spewed pure Anemo energy, ravaging the Mondstadt it had once protected.
"All residents, please evacuate in an orderly fashion!" A lively but anxious voice rang out. Tang Wang turned and saw Amber, Mondstadt's Outrider.
"Come on, let's take shelter first." With that, he took Ronava by the left hand and Linaya by the right, then followed directly behind Amber.
Danika immediately followed suit. Just then, a terrifying storm gathered into a vortex and suddenly descended toward their position.
"Look out!" Amber had only just shouted her warning when Tang Wang let go of Linaya's hand. He turned, raised his spear, and filled its tip with Gang Qi. Then he threw it by hand, piercing straight through the world-shattering storm.
"Let's go." Having done all that, he took Linaya's hand again and followed Amber.
"Mr. Tang Wang," Danika asked quietly from behind him, "are we really going to do nothing?"
"Danika, what did the person who hired you say?"
"To ensure the safety of the transport route between Dawn Winery and Mondstadt City."
"In that case, Dvalin's attack isn't within the scope of what you need to deal with, is it?"
"...That's true." Danika nodded.
"But Tang Wang, is this really all right?" Ronava asked uneasily.
At the same time, she caught sight of a falling shop sign about to strike a middle-aged man lying on the ground.
Without time to think, she formed an arm out of her Pyro Elemental Power and smashed the sign in midair.
"Nice work." Tang Wang gave her an approving look. "Ronava, if you want to help with the rescue, we can apply to the Knights of Favonius once we get there. Only then might we be able to save the most people."
"Think about it. If we act blindly, wasting manpower would be the least of our worries. If we get in the way of the rescue and evacuation efforts organized by the other Knights of Favonius, wouldn't we be making things worse despite our good intentions?"
"I suppose you're right." She nodded.
Amber, who had heard their conversation, had no idea who they were, but as far as the Knights of Favonius were concerned, it was good to have people willing to help.
When they reached the Cathedral of Favonius, the temporary shelter, the two planned to find whoever was in charge and be assigned work.
"What about Linaya? Isn't she coming with us to save people?" Seeing that Linaya was staying where she was, Ronava spoke with some hesitation.
Funny enough, if measured by human emotions, her attachment to Linaya was more like that of a child to a mother than that of a close friend or best friend.
"With my abilities, I can do the most good by staying where the injured are gathered." With that, Linaya released Lumi, then smiled and waved at her.
"Go on, Ronava. Be careful and stay safe."
"All right, I will." She nodded.
After the two left, Linaya found Barbara, who was healing the injured.
"Sir, please don't move..."
The lively young woman with a Hydro Vision now wore an expression full of sorrow. The dragon's rampage had only begun about half an hour ago, yet seven or eight injured people were already lying on the ground before her, having been forced to undergo amputations to survive.
Painful groans escaped their lips, and blood continued to flow from their wounds. Besides Barbara, the other nuns of the Church of Favonius were also doing their best to treat the injured.
"Hmm, let me see..." Linaya bent down to examine one of the patients and found that the shin of the patient's otherwise intact right leg had become completely necrotic. Clearly, it had been struck by something heavy.
"That young lady from the Church of Favonius...?" She turned and saw that Barbara looked ready to cry. "All right, she's already done her best."
For most "Genshin Impact" wielders with healing abilities, regenerating severed limbs was no simple matter.
The reason was simple too: restoring missing body parts out of thin air actually required a very high level of precision and skill in manipulating Elemental Power.
To put it bluntly, if every Genshin Impact wielder could easily heal well enough to regenerate severed limbs, there probably wouldn't be any disabled people in all of Teyvat.
"Then, Lumi, get ready."
"Yahoo!"
"Miss, please don't interfere with our treatment." Just then, one of the nuns approached Linaya. She instinctively wanted to send such an "uninvolved person" away.
That was, until she caught sight of the Wheel of the Moon on Linaya.
"My Elemental Power is especially well suited to healing." As she spoke, she took a few steps closer to the center of the gathered wounded. "So leave these severely injured patients to me."
"Huh? Miss, you..."
Before Barbara could finish her question, Linaya picked up Lumi and unleashed her Elemental Burst:
"Happy Ending!"
Beneath the golden light, all the injured who had lost limbs became whole again in a short time.
"My name is Linaya. I'm a consultant for the Adventurers' Guild." As Barbara stared in astonishment, Linaya turned back with a smile and held out her hand...
"What a mess."
At the main gate of Mondstadt City, Tang Wang was playing "ping-pong" with Stormterror in his own way.
Simply put, whenever the frenzied dragon sent down a storm, he immediately shattered it in midair with a spear. Before long, nearly all of Stormterror's attacks were aimed at Tang Wang.
"Sir, here's another batch of spears!" Just then, a young Knight of Favonius, drenched in sweat, brought out more of the blacksmith's stock.
"If there really aren't any spears left, one-handed swords will do too." As he replied, he threw two more spears, shattering a storm before it could form in the sky. "I'd just need to use a few more techniques to put power behind them..."
"Don't worry. As long as you don't demand quality, there's no shortage of weapons." Just then, a figure Tang Wang knew all too well appeared at the wall of wind by the main gate.
Amid the glow of a golden magic circle, a blond young man in white broke through the dragon's wall of wind. He held Paimon in his arms, her head tucked down.
"Albedo?" Tang Wang said in surprise. "Did you just get back from the snowy mountain?"
"Mm." He nodded. "I found a very unusual creature, so I ended my research plan early."
"I never expected Mondstadt City to be under attack by Dvalin now... For the Dragon of the East, there can hardly be a crueler torture in this world, can there?"
As he chatted, Albedo let go of Paimon and raised his brush as fast as he could, drawing the shape of a spear on the white canvas.
"Look out!" the Knight of Favonius beside them shouted. Tang Wang looked up and saw that Dvalin, who had been circling high in the sky, was now diving toward him...
