Trapped in the Mirror Sub-Universe, the survivors rebuilt their technology until Zu appeared, took half the Conquerors as hostages, and demanded the destruction of fifty supermassive black holes.
Hu Yu rescued Yan Xue and the Snow Tribe’s ancestral technology from Sextans, then returned to find the Milky Way’s defenses under pressure from the Fish Horse Star Civilization and a newly formed Justice League. The source of the enemy’s fleet remained uncertain, with evidence pointing toward the Boötes Dwarf Galaxy.
Hu Yu fought to protect the civilizations from the Fish Horse Star Civilization and the Justice League while searching for the enemy’s hidden base. After finding it inside a star, he prepared the alliance for war and began outfitting Conquerors with Virtual Reversed State technology.
Hu Yu united the Milky Way civilizations against the Fish Horse Star Civilization, but its black-hole-powered Super Fortress resisted their attacks and advanced toward the Milky Way’s central black hole. Humanity breached the fortress with five-dimensional space, only for the Mechanical Civilization to intervene while a separate attack on the enemy’s researchers remained unresolved.
The Milky Way civilizations fought to breach the Fish Horse Star Civilization’s Super Fortress, but its Space Maze let it escape Boötes and head for the Milky Way. As the academicians searched for a countermeasure, Daozi revealed the ancient conflict between galactic consciousnesses and the origins of the Snow Tribe’s war.
Hu Yu uncovered and defeated the Yun San Civilization’s betrayal while a hidden force sought the Milky Way’s central black hole. Daozi identified the shadow behind Yun San as an earlier Nebula Consciousness, leaving Hu Yu with a new lead into the galaxy’s growing crisis.
Hu Yu’s coalition faced the Fish Horse Star Civilization’s Super Fortress while the Secondary Universe merged into the greater universe and new threats appeared. The fortress reached the galactic black hole as Li Shun arrived with a massive fleet and moved to seize the Insect Emperor’s consciousness.
