Starlight in the Abyss

In 2185, low-level bugs transported through a higher-dimensional passage overrun the entire Solar System. Humanity is forced to leave its home behind, abandoning the Solar System in search of a new homeland. Along the way, the wandering Earth fleet discovers that there is far more to the situation than a simple insectoid invasion: civilizations across the entire Milky Way have become entangled in a vast conspiracy. This is a science fiction story with an expansive setting encompassing the Milky Way-no evolving mechs, no genetic ascension to godhood, and certainly no cultivation or heavenly tribulations.
