After removing the exoskeleton helmet, the alien appearance revealed was truly terrifying.
The exposed head of the Snail People looked like a soft, liquid mass, covered by a thin membrane. Dozens of long tentacles waved wildly around its head, and many of the tentacles had an eye at their tips that seemed to be looking around aimlessly.
Its appearance was so bizarre that the cultivators who saw it all wore expressions of disbelief.
Tie Xingzhen reached out and pinched its exoskeleton a few times, crushing it into pieces. Then, from this pile of metal fragments, the Snail People's body was completely exposed.
Its entire body is like a snail, and this exoskeleton is its shell.
It has strange synapses in many places on its body, which appear to be its own sensory organs, like human hands and feet, used to touch and control the exoskeleton to move normally.
After being freed from the protection of the exoskeleton, the Snail People collapsed into a ball, like a lump of mud.
Tie Xingzhen dropped it on the ground, and it frantically crawled around, but its movement speed was rather slow.
"These are aliens? They're really brave."
One of the onlookers stepped forward and gently kicked it, sending the alien tumbling several times.
"He's really disgusting."
"Just kill it, what's the point of keeping it alive?"
"He was captured alive; the higher-ups might be able to get some information out of him. Let's spare his life for now."
"If the aliens died on Venus Showdown, what if they were resurrected?"
Who knows? Why don't we give it a try?
A group of people were watching the Snail People with great interest when Tie Xingzhen used his Magic Power to push them away.
"Now is not the time to talk about this. There are still quite a few spaceships in the sky. We should find a way to shoot them down first."
Upon hearing Tie Xingzhen's words, the people around him nodded in agreement.
"That makes sense. I see that the casualties on other battlefields are quite high. Now, it's up to us to decide the outcome."
"That's true. If we capture a few more aliens, we might be able to earn some merit points."
After a brief discussion, everyone except Tie Xingzhen began to take action, flying up into the sky in twos and threes.
Tie Xingzhen then dragged the Snail People back to the portal connecting Earth Star and shoved it through.
After completing this step, he turned to look at the sky and set his sights on yet another frigate.
"Warning! Formation 4 has lost contact; spacecraft has crashed!"
At the same time that Tie Xingzhen shot down that spaceship, the Snail People's escort fleet had already detected the situation. On the radar, one of the fleets suddenly went out of control and crashed directly to the ground.
This is clearly very unusual. Although the frigate is terrible, it is capable of operating in space and could not have crashed into the planet for no reason.
Furthermore, radar detected signs of an unknown attack, which appeared to be a high-speed kinetic weapon with considerable power.
"Attention all personnel, we will launch another bombardment, paying particular attention to enemy air defenses. Full firepower, unlock all weapons."
When frigates bombard the ground, ground forces naturally become key targets. Since this weapon can shoot down frigates, its strike value increases dramatically.
The escort fleet, having lost one ship, immediately made a U-turn on the spot. Their superior maneuverability and performance allowed the fleet to perform this difficult maneuver with ease.
Turning back to the airspace above the ground where they had just been attacked, the escort ships in the formation unleashed their full firepower, launching a fierce attack on the strange buildings on the ground.
Especially after the firepower restrictions were lifted, the high-powered missiles carried by the frigates also began to be launched.
The missiles were so powerful that a single strike leveled the entire Earthly Capital. After the explosion spread to the restriction array at the edge of the arena, it struck the array, forming a perfectly square-shaped explosion structure.
The missiles were indeed powerful. The cultivators who were still on the ground and had not yet moved, whether they had set up their defenses or burrowed underground, were all hit. Most of them turned into white light and went to the resurrection pool.
Only a very small number of cultivators can survive such an explosion.
Just as Tie Xingzhen was about to jump, he was hit by a missile head-on. All his clothes were burned off, and his skin was scalded several times, leaving a large amount of his Flesh and Blood exposed to the air.
That's all; this level of attack isn't enough to kill him.
As his Magic Power circulated, the burned areas on his body quickly returned to normal, and after a few breaths, he was standing on the ground completely unharmed.
"Okay, very good."
Tie Xingzhen's gaze was fixed on the frigate that had launched the missile. He suddenly stomped his foot, causing the entire area to tremble. A figure burst through several sonic booms and shot directly into the sky.
The escort ships focused their attacks on the ground, unaware that, under Tie Xingzhen, many cultivators had already come into the air and, using various concealment spells, ambushed these ships along their inevitable path.
Hey, I'll have one too!
As the lead escort ship was about to fly over, one of the ambushing cultivators, who looked very young, smiled and said something, then cast three or four layers of magic on himself.
He was also a cultivator who favored Body Refining, and his original goal for this duel was to test his skills against Tie Xingzhen.
As a result, this happened, and now there's no chance for him to fight Tie Xingzhen. But he also wants to try what Tie Xingzhen can do.
Both are Body Refining, but it's not certain who is stronger or weaker.
He boarded the frigate and immediately appeared, kicking directly at the frigate.
He collided head-on with the frigate, but at the very moment of impact, he realized something was wrong.
This frigate is a bit too tough.
He kicked the ship's hull, feeling a hard sensation from the sole of his foot, followed by a sharp pain.
His foot was smashed into mincemeat in the collision.
Of course, the frigate that was kicked wasn't completely unscathed either; a hole the thickness of a person was kicked in.
Then, with neither side reducing their force, the surrounding cultivators watched helplessly as this guy, who boasted that his Body Refining was no less than Tie Xingzhen's, was reduced to a pile of dust by the impact. He then flew into the escort ship through the hole created by the collision.
Then, a series of crashing sounds echoed throughout the frigate, and warnings blared throughout the ship.
The cultivator who had used a vision-enhancing spell glanced at the alien pilot inside the escort ship, and the alien was instantly smashed into seven or eight pieces by the cultivator, who had turned into a pile of mud. The alien was clearly beyond dead.
The fact that they would perish together caused the surrounding lurking cultivators to gasp in shock.
Although they knew Tie Xingzhen strong, they didn't expect him to be this strong.
While both are about Body Refining, Tie Xingzhen could easily defeat these alien spaceships like opening a can, but for others, it would be a life-or-death struggle.
Moreover, this alien spaceship wasn't as fragile as they thought. In fact, whether it was brittle or not depended on who its opponent was.
