The first name mentioned in the documents is the mastermind behind this intrusion, the Snail People.
However, the image of the Snail People in the document is quite different from the humanoid exoskeleton that appeared before. It is a large clump of soft-bodied creature, lying on the ground like a lump of slime.
Only the head protruded from that lump of soft tissue, just like a snail whose shell had been peeled off.
The Snail People captured on the Divine Land side was not large, only 5-6, and they were basically all taken from the frigates.
The document only contains some physical indicators and physical descriptions of the Snail People; other information is completely blank.
It seems these Snail People who were caught aren't very cooperative.
Li Xingkong flipped through a few pages and looked at the other races. Compared to the Snail People, whose information was only briefly mentioned, the documents for the other races were much thicker.
The information on the Leopard People, Kobolds, and Tree People is particularly detailed. After all, three defectors were already providing information before the war, and with their assistance after the war, the information on these races was quite comprehensive.
Their original civilization is lost to history. According to them, most of their race were born on this starship, and every time they stepped off the ship, it was to wage war. Only a few were allowed to enter the Snail People's home planet, but those who went in never returned.
Each different race has different responsibilities within the fleet, and based on their species characteristics, they play different roles in the fleet's external wars.
Besides these three races, there are other species, such as the Frog People, who serve as ground mobile forces and possess superhuman mobility, able to traverse any terrain quickly by leaping; Chameleon People, who serve as ground reconnaissance forces and can change their skin color using light to conceal themselves...
It is no coincidence that most life forms have some similar animals on Earth Star.
Since the Snail People are also creatures that live on Earth-like planets, they will consider species born on similar planets when taking in cannon fodder.
As for creatures born on non-terrestrial planets, since their required living environment is different from that of terrestrial planets, they are naturally not within the scope of the Snail People's consideration for recruitment.
After all, providing them with a separate living environment on a star destroyer would be too extravagant. There's basically only one way to deal with these creatures.
Harmlessness for all.
Although everyone has different needs for a habitable planet, it seems that we can find common ground while reserving differences. However, as long as it is a civilization, there will be a need for resources. Where there is a need, there will be competition, so there is naturally no need to stay.
On similar planets, species tend to share certain similarities. On Earth Star, species that are completely unrelated but have similar environments will produce animals that look very similar. This is also true in the universe.
Given similar planets, the likelihood of similar animals arising is very high.
However, since each planet develops differently, it's uncertain which planet will ultimately give rise to intelligence first.
After reviewing all the alien documents, Li Xingkong's gaze returned to the Snail People.
"If these Snail People are the masterminds, why is there so little information about them?"
Li Xingkong asked the question.
"We only caught a few Snail People, just five in total. Each department wants to learn something from them, so we don't have much time for interrogation."
"Besides, these guys are quite arrogant; they need to be locked up for a few more days to temper their temper."
Speaking of this, Old Tang also had a headache. These guys were still very arrogant after being caught, refusing to talk no matter what, and even after being locked up, they still acted as if they were fearless.
Did they know their flagship had been destroyed?
Li Xingkong couldn't understand it. How could they act so arrogantly even after being taken prisoner? Were the Earth Star People afraid to touch them?
Or perhaps, with the support of the Star Destroyer, they felt they were absolutely invincible?
"After you destroyed that flagship, we talked to them, but those guys were only panicked for a while. Then, somehow, they calmed down after a while."
"These guys are still being held by the Inspection Department. They've had several meetings these past two days, mainly discussing whether to torture them, or just slice them up and distribute them for experiments..."
Old Tang's words were spoken calmly, but the murderous intent they contained was palpable.
"Have we not even equipped them yet?"
Li Xingkong was surprised; these were all aliens, so why bother with the Geneva Convention?
"We will only consider using torture if the other party refuses to cooperate and there are no other options. After all, treating prisoners of war well is our tradition."
"Why don't I go take a look?"
Li Xingkong pondered for a moment. He had many ways to get questions out of an ordinary person, but he had never tried to get questions out of an alien before.
"Alright, if we can get some information out of them, we won't have to make an exception for them."
"The place where those Snail People are being held is over at the Inspection Department. Just go there and find Tang Cheng; he's over there."
Li Xingkong up, said goodbye to Old Tang, and headed towards the area under the jurisdiction of the Inspection Department.
It's been quite a few years since I've seen Tang Cheng. I wonder how his cultivation level has improved.
The temporary headquarters of the Inspection Department is very close to this Earthly Capital; it's right across the street as soon as you step out the door.
Li Xingkong a smooth journey, with no one stopping him. In fact, after entering the Inspection Department's residence, two Inspection Department came over to Li Xingkong.
Although meeting this Snail People is more important, it's also worthwhile to meet with Tang Cheng first.
"Where is Tang Cheng now? Take me to see him."
With someone to guide them, Li Xingkong wouldn't have to search for himself.
"Brother Tang is interrogating those Snail People downstairs. I'll take you there."
One of them tapped his finger near his ear, and a reply came quickly.
Then, the two took Li Xingkong to the temporary detention center located underground in the basement.
This place was a temporary construction; even the underground detention center was hastily created using magic.
Li Xingkong could discern numerous traces of magic from just a few glances at the surrounding walls.
Upon entering the detention center, Li Xingkong saw someone standing in front of several strange cages, splashing something in their hands.
From the cage he was facing came inhuman curses, the language of Earth Star was unclear.
Upon closer inspection, it was Tang Cheng who was doing it. He was carrying a ladle in each hand, and there was a bucket of water next to his legs. He was calmly pouring the water from the ladle into the cage.
The cage contained a huge Snail People. When the water touched his body, he struggled and spat out countless curses from his mouth full of teeth.
Although I couldn't understand it, it was definitely not a good word.
