Meng Anci became a juren and refused bribes, while Shiyan confessed his feelings to Meng Anzhi and learned she did not love him.

• Xiao Yuan and Zhu Huaizhang investigated the Cloud Brocade Workshop, exposed its abuse and murders, cleared the embroiderers, and punished the Bai Household and implicated officials.
