"Military supplies? Could it be!?" Mayumi Saegusa's face was filled with surprise.
"I think your guess is right," Yunyi said.
"'Anti-Knight,' Crystalite?" Mayumi Saegusa murmured.
"Come to think of it, you're paying so much attention to this not just because you want to get clues about certain people from Hajime Tsukasa, but because the Great Asian Alliance is involved in Blanche's operation too, right?"
"Hey, Mayumi, girls who are too clever end up suffering for it." Yunyi pinched the bridge of his nose helplessly.
He had come clean with Mayumi Saegusa so they could work together better, but he hadn't expected the girl to show signs of becoming more brazen after learning his true identity. Did she actually think she could control him just because she knew who he was?
Having obtained quite a bit of information, Mayumi Saegusa prepared to take her leave.
But before leaving, she suddenly remembered the idea that had occurred to her earlier. So she decided to give it a try.
Looking at Yunyi, who stood at the entryway to see her off, Mayumi Saegusa gave him a playful smile.

She would have been fine if he hadn't said anything, but his warning made Mayumi Saegusa stumble on level ground. Fortunately, she caught herself in time and avoided the embarrassing fate of falling flat in front of Yunyi's house.
Mayumi Saegusa looked back and glared fiercely at Yunyi before leaving at a brisk pace. Soon, her figure disappeared into the night.
Because of the farce the League of Volunteers had caused yesterday, the atmosphere at First High School was especially lively the next day.
Course 1 Students and Course 2 Students alike were discussing the Alliance of Volunteers. Some Course 1 Students, however, believed it was merely a desperate struggle by disgruntled Course 2 Students, and that their aptitude made it impossible for them to receive any attention from the school. Only a very, very small number supported the Alliance of Volunteers.
Things were even more tumultuous among the Course 2 Students. Near their classrooms, plenty of people were not only discussing yesterday's farce, but also trying hard to persuade other Course 2 Students to join the League of Volunteers after joining it themselves.
On his way from the school gates to the first-year Class E classroom, Yunyi was approached by several groups inviting him to join the Alliance of Volunteers.
When Yunyi entered the classroom, he saw Tatsuya Shiba and the others gathered together, talking about something.
"Hey, everyone, good morning," Yunyi greeted them. "Morning to you too, Tatsuya. Thanks for your hard work yesterday."
"Good morning, Yunyi. The whole matter was left to the Student Council yesterday. Only our chairperson from the Public Morals Committee got involved, so we didn't have any extra work," Tatsuya Shiba said.
"But judging by how things look now, today probably won't be so easy. Right, Tatsuya?" Yunyi walked over to Tatsuya Shiba and gave him a light nudge in the side with his elbow.
"What do you mean?" Tatsuya Shiba asked, looking puzzled.
"Just a feeling. It's so lively out there." Yunyi jerked his chin toward the classroom door.
"Hah... let's hope not," Tatsuya Shiba said.
Amid the noisy atmosphere, the end of the school day soon arrived.
Yunyi packed up his things and headed to the auditorium with everyone else to watch the debate. They didn't think much of the so-called equal treatment the Alliance of Volunteers spoke of, and were mostly going to watch the spectacle.
Not much time had passed since classes ended, but the auditorium was already packed. It seemed there were quite a few people interested in the debate.
As soon as Yunyi arrived, he went backstage and found Mayumi Saegusa making preparations.
"Planning to go up alone?" Yunyi skipped the greetings and asked directly.
"Yes. There's very little time to prepare, and if several of us work together, the other side might seize on gaps between what we say and gain the advantage. If I'm alone, I won't have to worry about that," Mayumi Saegusa said.
"That sounds like fun! What should I do? I suddenly want to join those Childish Alliance guys and go onstage to debate you too!" Yunyi said with a smile.
"Are you serious?"
Mayumi Saegusa was genuinely startled by Yunyi's words. She was quite confident about dealing with those students, but if she had to face the guy in front of her, she really wasn't so sure.
"What should I do?" Yunyi said with a teasing smile. "I suddenly miss that new name little Mayumi called me yesterday. What should I do?"
"Y-you... don't go too far!" Mayumi Saegusa glared at Yunyi, her face bright red.
