Baifeng Uesugi went to the mall alone to buy a few things for his current residence. Apart from some furniture, there was nothing in it, which made it look rather bare.
Walking into the mall was like entering an endless treasure trove. The dazzling array of goods was almost too much to take in.
This was Baifeng Uesugi's first visit to a mall. When he had been with the Yotsuba Family or the Saegusa Family, he had simply told the maids to buy whatever he needed.
The store shelves were packed with all kinds of goods, from traditional books and magazines to distinctive handicrafts and souvenirs, each with its own unique charm. The layouts and designs of the stores were creative, too, making it easy to find whatever kind of goods one was looking for.
People streamed in and out of the brightly lit mall, carrying shopping bags of all sizes and enjoying the pleasures of shopping. These stores did more than display goods; they also reflected people's lifestyles, satisfying their various needs for fashion, quality, and comfort.
Baifeng Uesugi soon joined the crowd and began his own shopping trip.
By the afternoon, Baifeng Uesugi had spent most of the day at the mall and finally bought everything he wanted.
Besides the things he had planned to buy, he had also picked up something he had happened to see earlier.
While busy picking things out, Baifeng Uesugi had chanced upon a motorcycle dealership in the mall, and his heart had started to stir.

It also had a distinctive headlight and an imposing body profile that made it stand out among other motorcycles.
All in all, it was a motorcycle that combined performance and looks, and its distinctive design and outstanding performance were much loved by motorcycle enthusiasts.
Now that he had a motorcycle, he needed riding gear too, so Baifeng Uesugi bought it right there at the dealership.

As for riding clothes, Baifeng Uesugi had chosen not to buy them. Their main purpose was protection, which he had no need for at all now. He had only bought the helmet because it looked cool.
Baifeng Uesugi had the sales clerk take the motorcycle to the parking lot downstairs so he could ride it home when he was done.
After another two hours, once he had finished buying everything, Baifeng Uesugi prepared to head home.
As he was taking the elevator back, two little ones beside him caught his attention.
Aren't those Kasumi and Izumi? Shouldn't they be at home at this hour? How did they end up out here?
The Saegusa Family had quite a few enemies, so Koichi Saegusa took great care to protect his children. Even Mayumi Saegusa had bodyguards secretly protecting her on her way to and from school.
"Kasumi, we sneaked out. If Mayumi finds out, will she spank our bottoms?"
Izumi Saegusa asked worriedly.
"Don't worry, Izumi. We'll just say we saw Bai Feng here. Then Mayumi definitely won't blame us. After all, we came to look for Bai Feng."
Kasumi Saegusa said with a sly smile.
"But Kasumi, that's lying. Isn't that wrong?" Izumi Saegusa said worriedly.
"Do you want to stay at home all the time? Isn't it fun playing wherever we like outside?"
Kasumi Saegusa said.
"It is a lot more fun than staying home." Izumi Saegusa had been successfully taken in by Kasumi Saegusa.
Hearing their conversation, Baifeng Uesugi smiled wryly to himself. He was shopping at the mall, yet their scheme was going to land him with the blame.
The two little girls had been lively when they were young. He hadn't expected them to be the same after all these years apart.
Baifeng Uesugi considered how to get the two sisters home. After turning it over in his mind, he decided that contacting Mayumi Saegusa directly would be the simplest solution.
So he took out his terminal and called Mayumi Saegusa's number.
"Hello, who is this?"
The call soon connected, and Mayumi Saegusa's gentle voice came through.
But Baifeng Uesugi knew that was only Mayumi Saegusa's outward appearance. A little devil was hidden inside her.
"Hello, President. This is Baifeng Uesugi. I'm sorry to bother you."
Baifeng Uesugi said.
"Oh, it's you, Bai Feng. Did you need something?" Mayumi Saegusa asked.
"Well, I'm at the mall right now, and the two children next to me seem to be from your family. It looks like they sneaked out. I was worried something might happen to them, so I contacted you to make sure."
Baifeng Uesugi explained.
"Two children? Are they girls, around seven or eight years old?" Mayumi Saegusa asked.
"Yes, and they call each other Kasumi and Izumi."
Baifeng Uesugi said.
When Kasumi Saegusa and Mayumi Saegusa heard Baifeng Uesugi say their names, they both turned to look at him.
"Mister, how do you know our names?"
Kasumi Saegusa asked in confusion.
On the other end of the call, Mayumi Saegusa heard a familiar voice. Who else could it be but her younger sister, Kasumi Saegusa?
"Kasumi, why are you there?"
Hearing her sister's voice through the terminal, Mayumi Saegusa immediately confirmed the identities of the two little girls Baifeng Uesugi had mentioned.
They were her sisters, Kasumi and Izumi.
"Ah, Izumi, run! He's one of our sister's people!"
As soon as the elevator doors opened, Kasumi Saegusa grabbed Izumi Saegusa and raced out.
"Bai Feng, sorry for the trouble, but could you catch up to those two girls? They're my sisters. Please send me your location too. I'll come right over."
Mayumi Saegusa spoke with a hint of pleading in her voice.
"All right, President."
After hanging up, Baifeng Uesugi sent Mayumi Saegusa his location.
Then he chased after Kasumi Saegusa and Izumi Saegusa.
"You two, your sister will be here soon, so be good and wait here."
After catching up with them, Baifeng Uesugi picked up one child in each hand.
"Ah! Aah! You bad man, let me go!"
Kasumi Saegusa suddenly felt her feet leave the ground and realized she had been caught. She hurriedly struggled.
Izumi Saegusa was much quieter, but her face was full of grievance, and her big, watery eyes looked as though she might burst into tears at any moment.
"If you wait quietly for your sister to pick you up, I can promise she won't spank your bottoms. How about it?"
Baifeng Uesugi said.
"R-really?" Izumi Saegusa asked.
"Of course. But only if you don't run around," Baifeng Uesugi said with a smile.
"Okay, then I won't run." Izumi Saegusa nodded.
"What about you?" Baifeng Uesugi asked, looking at Kasumi Saegusa.
"As long as you can make sure Mayumi doesn't punish us, I won't run around. I'll wait for her to pick us up."
After thinking it over, Kasumi Saegusa finally agreed.
No matter what, they had to go home eventually, and punishment was inevitable once they did. Since the person in front of them could promise they wouldn't be punished, they could trust him this once.
