The Unforgiven from Shinigami
The deceased nobleman's name was Shin'ichirō Shihoin.
He is one of the most outstanding young members of the Shihoin, with Spiritual Power equivalent to about the Fifth Seat of the Gotei 13. He is skilled in the Shihoin Clan's unique Shunpo and Hakuda.
He has an aggressive personality and always desires to bring the Stealth Force back under the control of the Shihoin Clan.
The recent chaos in the Seireitei has given Shin'ichirō an opportunity. He has begun to travel around, lobbying the Central 46 Chambers to form a Gold Seal Unit directly under the control of the great nobles.
The Central 46 Chambers considered this an act of decentralization and rejected the establishment of the Gold Seal Unit.
Later, the entire Central 46 was wiped out, Muken the Shinigami escaped. The Grim Reapers were extremely busy. Shin'ichirō jumped out again and suggested to the Captain-Commander that the Central 46 Chambers would be destroyed, indicating that the existing military forces were insufficient to protect the Seireitei.
The Stealth Force, Kidō Corps, Gotei 13 are no longer keeping up with the times; a completely new armed force needs to be formed to protect the safety of the nobles.
He reiterated his proposal to establish Gold Seal Unit directly under the control of the great nobles.
Unlike last time, this time his proposal received the approval of many nobles, and the result remained the same.
Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto refused to form the Gold Seal Unit.
It sounds like a simple matter to select young nobles with strong Spiritual Power from various superior noble families and train them.
In reality, the upper-class nobles, having lived in luxury for many years, were no longer suited to military-style management.
It's true that they have strong Spiritual Power, but training them to fight in unison will be no easy task.
Moreover, fighting spirit isn't something you can just acquire; even members of the Gotei 13 can lose their will to fight and flee.
In Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto's eyes, the Gold Seal Unit was nothing more than a case of loving dragons but fearing them in reality; he didn't have the energy to invest in something that was destined to fail.
Shin'ichirō was unaware of his own situation and instead believed that Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto was afraid of him taking away his power, so he strongly encouraged the nobles to jointly submit an application to form the Gold Seal Unit.
At this height of activity, what will the nobles think if Shin'ichirō Shihoin is suddenly killed, especially under the protection of the Stealth Force?
"Some may suspect that we were behind it, but that's a minority. Most nobles will think that Shin'ichirō is right; the existing three major institutions are no longer sufficient to deal with the crisis."
At this point, Soi Fon reached out and pushed open the door to the room where the crime scene was located. "To stabilize morale, Captain-Commander Yamamoto must establish the Gold Seal Unit."
The room was decorated in a "cozy" style, with paintings of various poses hanging on the walls and various props such as whips and candles on the floor.
On the rocking horse, Shin'ichirō Shihoin, bound in a tortoise shell, stared wide-eyed with his tongue sticking out.
A thin steel wire was strangled around his neck, looped around the roof beam, tied to a kunai (a type of halberd), and inserted into the woman's open chest. The stench of blood in the air was nauseating.
Shiraishi retreated outside again. It wasn't that he hadn't killed people, but he rarely stayed to smell the blood.
He hates the smell of blood; it makes him want to vomit.
Tōshirō Hitsugaya also disliked the smell of blood, but he managed to endure it and inspect the scene.
Soi Fon strolled through the crime scene, carefully sensing the residual Reiatsu, but found nothing unusual. He turned back and asked, "Can you sense the residual Reiatsu?"
Shiraishi frowned, shook his head, and said, "I can't sense anything here. Wait a moment."
Having said that, he turned his head to the side, took a deep breath, held it, and walked towards the deceased, getting within three steps of him.
A very faint trace of Reiatsu lingered in the spot. He reached out and touched the deceased's neck. "There's residual Reiatsu here."
Do you know the Kidō?
Soi Fon asked a question.
He shook his head and said, "I've never learned it."
Soi Fon was not surprised and said, " The Kidō is divided into the Bakudō and the Hadō. The one we use to track enemies is the Bakudō No. 58, the Kakushitsuijaku."
This is advanced Kidō; it will be very difficult to learn, but to solve the case, you must learn it within three days.
The reason for specifying three days is that the barrier set up by the Stealth Force at the scene can only be maintained for three days to prevent the residual Reiatsu from dissipating.
After this time, the barrier will lose its original effect, and the culprit's Reiatsu will dissipate.
"Uh..." Shiraishi paused slightly, scratching his head, and said, "Isn't this a bit too much to ask?"
Soi Fon understood that this was a very difficult situation.
The cultivation of the Kidō) is not something that can be achieved simply by reciting incantations. The key is the hand gestures, the flow of Reiatsu, and the tone of voice. Mastering these is by no means an easy task.
Back then, it took her a full half month to master the Bakudō No. 58.
Even so, her father still praised her for being intelligent.
Three days... that's really asking too much.
"How will you know your limits if you don't try? I believe you have immense Reiatsu as a foundation, so you should be fine."
After giving a bowl of spiritual chicken soup, Soi Fon began to say, "The first step in 'Kakushitsuijaku on the Toe' is not chanting, but rather, before the sound leaves the mouth, you must channel Spiritual Power into your thumb, transforming it into ink, and draw a circle on the ground."
Remember, it must be a circle! Next, recite the incantation, capture the Reiatsu you sense, and trace the source of that Reiatsu.
Shiraishi scratched his head and said, "My sense of justice isn't that explosive. If you want me to work hard, you have to give me something in return."
Marechiyo Ōmaeda showed off her gold necklace and asked, "How much do you want?"
"Just kidding, I've long since moved beyond the vulgar pleasures of money."
Shiraishi replied irritably that he was no longer that kind of vulgar person.
Soi Fon frowned slightly and asked, "What reward do you want?"
Shiraishi whispered in my ear, "It means you kiss me."
"You!"
Soi Fon's earlobes instantly turned red, his eyes widened, and he really wanted to punch him, but then he thought about it again and snorted, "Fine, if you can do it."
"Very good! Tell me the incantation!"
Shiraishi clenched his fist, his whole body burning with fighting spirit.
This guy really wants me to kiss him that much... Soi Fon felt a strange sense of joy. No, this is business, how could she get caught up in romance?
She took a few deep breaths and said, "The chant for 'Kakushitsuijaku' is: 'The heart of the south, the pupil of the north, the fingertips of the west, and the toes of the east, gather with the wind and disperse with the rain! 'The Bakudō No. 58: Kakushitsuijaku."
Remember, you absolutely must pronounce that last sentence; don't forget it.
"No problem, I'll give it a try."
Shiraishi squatted down, channeled his Spiritual Power into his thumb, and drew a line on the ground, but no ink came out. He was completely bewildered.
Soi Fon shook his head, saying, "Before you pronounce the first 'Nan' character, don't you move your throat?"
"Why didn't you say so earlier?" Shiraishi understood. He was about to utter the word "South" when he drew a line on the ground with his thumb, his Spiritual Power turning into ink that remained there. "Southern heart, northern pupil, western fingertip, eastern toe, gather with the wind, disperse with the rain! Bakudō No. 58: Kakushitsuijaku!"
He clapped his hands, and the circle emitted a silver light, with numbers constantly flipping, searching for the location of the Reiatsu's owner.
Soi Fon was stunned.
