The Unforgiven from Shinigami
The sun hasn't gotten warm yet today.
it's all over.
Kūkaku Shiba lifted her beige long skirt, went inside to wipe herself with a towel, tied up her loose black hair, and straightened her clothes.
Cover up the mark on your chest.
Such a big person, yet like a hungry baby.
" Kūkaku ~"
"Don't whine. If you're really capable, I'll keep you company for ten days or half a month next time we meet."
Kūkaku Shiba slapped away his restless hand, glared at him with eyes that seemed to be veiled in mist, and her wine-red cheeks exuded feminine charm.
The sight of it made Shiraishi's bones melt; it was as if he possessed Armament Haki, capable of piercing through rock with a single blow.
He pleaded pitifully, " Kūkaku ~ just once, okay?"
Kūkaku Shiba didn't indulge him. She had lost control just now, but now that she had vented her emotions, her mind was clear. She urged, "No way. Hurry up and get dressed. I need to go back to the Shiba Clan in West District One."
"All right."
Seeing that she was determined, Shiraishi reluctantly got up, put on his Shihakushō, and then slipped on his sleeveless Captain's Haori, saying, "Let's go."
"Etc."
At this moment, Kūkaku Shiba became less anxious, returned to the house, lit the fireworks inside, and shouted, "Get away."
Shiraishi leaped backward.
Bang! Bang!
Dim smoke burst from the houses and shot into the sky, scattering in all directions.
The crackling sounds seemed to be trying to form a pattern, but unable to, and finally drifted down.
Kūkaku Shiba Shunpo beside him and sighed, "Originally, I planned for the fireworks to explode in the shape of you and me embracing, but no matter how I adjusted it, I couldn't achieve that effect."
"I believe you'll be able to figure it out sooner or later," Shiraishi comforted her gently, reaching out to embrace her.
If it were draped over someone's shoulder, the scene would be even warmer.
Kūkaku Shiba looked at the hand on the left side of her body. It seemed to be due to a network delay, as it took a few seconds to slap away. She said irritably, "I gave you a chance, but you still wouldn't behave. You had to make me hit you."
" Kūkaku, actually I'm not in a hurry to go back..."
Shiraishi subtly expressed his desire to fight again.
A man with such boundless energy as him, as long as he gets enough rest at night, could probably keep going for a year without any problems.
Kūkaku Shiba ignored his request, turned around and used Shunpo to descend, his figure quickly disappearing into the clouds, his Reiatsu fading into the distance.
"Wait for me!" He quickly used his Steel Tempest to catch up easily.
Kūkaku Shiba raised an eyebrow and began to accelerate, deliberately choosing difficult sections to try and shake him off.
Shiraishi stayed right behind her.
The game of chasing each other continued until West District Thirteen stopped.
The soft sunlight spilled into the grove of trees. Kūkaku Shiba landed on a winding path and exchanged a glance with Shiraishi.
Many things don't need to be said; a tacit understanding between minds has already determined what to do next.
Shiraishi hid in the nearby grove of trees.
Kūkaku Shiba continued to stand in the middle of the path, looking southeast.
Before long, a gust of wind blew by, and a leaf fell from the branch, causing bare feet to sink into the mud.
The black-haired woman did not move forward. She had a classic oval face and wore bright red prayer beads around her neck, each one as big as a two-year-old's Riot Games.
The clothing is not the proper shrine maiden attire.
It's closer to the informal kind.
She wore a white coat with a neckline even wider than Kūkaku Shiba's, and a bright red, loose-fitting blouse.
They weren't wearing shoes; they walked barefoot on the summer ground without worrying about getting their feet burned.
"You've been following me since just now, what are you trying to do?"
Kūkaku Shiba stared at the woman before him, certain that he had never seen her before. A woman of such beauty and bearing would never be forgotten once seen.
"That family crest... you must be Kūkaku Shiba."
My name is Kaoru Tendō, and I came here for one purpose.
The black-haired woman tossed her long, jet-black hair aside. She looked very young, but her voice carried a hint of age and weariness. "Either I kill you, or you kill me."
"There are two." Kūkaku Shiba rolled her eyes. If you can't even do math, don't embarrass yourself.
Kaoru Tendō Kaoru's lifeless eyes brightened, and her sharp gaze made it clear that she was about to make her move.
Time seemed to stand still.
Kūkaku Shiba stood there, unresponsive.
His hand was already reaching for her face.
At the critical moment, Shiraishi had no time to hide, and the golden blade silently pierced out.
He doesn't have Bankai because the Bankai is too cumbersome and far less convenient than the Shikai.
Kaoru Tendō was prepared. She twisted her waist, flung her long black hair aside, and threw out a punch with her right hand, turning her palm into a fist.
It doesn't feel real.
Shiraishi used Steel Tempest to pass through her Riot Games and then her body, followed by a golden circular slash.
"Good." Kaoru Tendō exclaimed in praise, her black hair, which she had tossed aside, seemed to come alive, and slapped downwards against the golden slash.
Bang!
With a deafening roar, the surging energy shattered the earth. Kūkaku Shiba's face was swept by the blast, his black hair flying, but he didn't freeze in shock. " Hadō #4: Byakurai!"
A beam of blue-white lightning shot out from his fingertip.
Kaoru Tendō extinguished the extremely penetrating Byakurai with his bare hands, sparks of electricity erupting from his fingertips. He planted his feet diagonally on the ground and nimbly spun around.
It was as if she were dancing, her movements were light and graceful, and her dusty feet magnified rapidly in Kūkaku Shiba's eyes.
He managed to raise both hands with difficulty.
Her foot slid down towards her undefended abdomen.
Every move she made revealed her control over her body.
This makes her fists, feet, and hair seem like sentient beings, capable of changing according to the enemy's movements.
Kūkaku Shiba had never seen such a terrifying Hakuda technique before. Unable to dodge it, he could only tense his abdomen, causing his Reiatsu to condense on the surface.
Kaoru Tendō's lips curled up, and he changed his attack trajectory once again. He spun on his left foot in place, raised his right foot high over his shoulder, and slammed it down hard on the back of Shiraishi's sword.
The Steel Tempest has the ability to lock onto enemies.
However, if Kaoru Tendō steps on the back of the blade first, it's equivalent to Steel Tempest will be rendered ineffective.
Shiraishi hadn't expected that she would change her attack route so many times—no, perhaps he was her target from the beginning.
Attacking Kūkaku is a way to draw his attention.
He now understands, and it's somewhat like hindsight.
Kaoru Tendō leaped up on the blade, as light as a feather, yet his Riot Games were heavier than Mount Tai.
Bang.
A golden vortex of energy exploded in front of him, but it couldn't even stop him for half a second. The Riot Games landed on his face, and he flew backward with a whoosh, exploding trees along the way, and finally crashing into a mountain and blowing it up.
With a loud crash, rocks scattered everywhere. A piece of gravel landed nearby, breaking four or five large trees. Dust rose from hundreds of meters away.
Kaoru Tendō fell to the ground.
" Shiraishi!" Kūkaku Shiba called out.
"Don't worry so much, this is nothing, it won't kill that man."
Kaoru Tendō spoke to comfort him, squeezing his hand; most of the force from the touch had been dissipated by the opponent's retreat.
That's interesting.
No wonder he's the man who managed to kill three Muken prisoners in succession.
Ever since Mad King Munemasa's defeat, she had noticed Shiraishi, a Rukongai, and had been looking for an opportunity to fight him.
However, due to the concealed nature of Shiraishi's Reiatsu, he could never find it.
Upon learning that Shiraishi was petitioning for Kūkaku Shiba, she keenly realized that she might be able to find Shiraishi through this opportunity.
Using the connections of the Purgatory Trading Company, she searched for several days and finally got the information from the Research and Development Institute.
On her way to District Fifty-One, she happened to see a Captain-level Reiatsu passing by.
Instead of ignoring them, they curiously followed along – a truly sensible decision.
"Hiss." Kaoru Tendō shivered; the temperature suddenly plummeted from the sweltering summer heat to the depths of winter. "Haha, so this is your Reiatsu? Not bad, I like it very much!"
