The Unforgiven from Shinigami
West of Seireitei, at the Hakutōmon.
The sun is setting.
The towering Seireiheki cast a thick shadow over the area surrounding the gate.
On the second floor of the house near the door, the window was slightly ajar, and the mirror embedded in it reflected the image of someone leaving the house.
Retsu Unohana sat there in a chair, observing the movement of the door through the mirror.
Shiraishi disappeared yesterday morning after learning of Kūkaku Shiba's death. He didn't return to the Tenth Division, nor did he see anyone.
He simply vanished into thin air.
Should he reunite with Hirako who infiltrated the palace? Or should he lick his wounds alone in the shadows?
There's too little information to make any guesses.
Retsu Unohana, in her quest for the truth, decides to wait here, hoping that if Shiraishi Shin Hirako make contact, they will definitely leave from here.
I hope you're not that naive.
She murmured, her hand stroking the knife, her bright eyes dimming slightly. If possible, she still didn't want to meet Shiraishi in such a situation.
As the sun completely set, Shiraishi's image appeared in the mirror. She looked away and focused on the Hakutōmon.
The side door opened, and people walked out.
Retsu Unohana didn't stay seated any longer. She swiftly moved to the Hakutōmon, grabbed the side door that was about to close, and slipped out.
His silhouette flashed by like a shooting star; by the time I saw him, he was already far away.
She caught up in Shunpo, but didn't get too close, maintaining a certain distance to avoid being discovered by Shiraishi.
After their last encounter, Retsu Unohana knew very well just how sharp Shiraishi's Spiritual Sense were.
If she got too close, even a casual glance would be noticed, so she used her nose to smell.
The Hakutōmon sprinkles a special medicinal powder that ordinary people cannot smell at all.
Simply apply a solution made from ground medicated oil to your nose, and it will change from being odorless to having a very pungent smell.
This allows her to follow from a distance.
The ethereal Reiatsu emanated from afar, and Shiraishi no longer concealed his Reiatsu, choosing to expose it to the outside world.
Have we arrived at our destination?
A question arose in her mind. With her feet firmly planted on the mountainside, she quickly pulled out a bottle of medicine with her right hand and put a drop into her right eye.
The hazy distance became clear.
Retsu Unohana's gaze swept over the Shiraishi, landing on the void and its vicinity, where there was a village.
Overwhelmed by Shiraishi's Reiatsu, Hollow, disregarding his hunger, turned and slipped into the Garganta, fleeing back to Hueco Mundo.
Retsu Unohana thought the matter was over and intended to continue following, but then she discovered that Shiraishi was grabbing the Void and drilling into the Garganta.
"Don't want!"
She called out, Shunpo forward, and reached out to grab the person.
The Garganta closed, and the shouts couldn't keep up with her speed, nor could the hands grab her.
Retsu Unohana was momentarily thrown into disarray.
She feigned killing Kūkaku Shiba and used a large dose of drug to knock out Sōya Azashiro, who was suspected of merging with Seireitei, and expected him to be in a coma for seven days.
The goal is to further complicate the already unclear situation in Seireitei, so that if no one can see things clearly, then everyone will be on the same starting line.
As a result, Shiraishi went to Hueco Mundo.
What was the thought process behind this?
Retsu Unohana blinked hard, trying to dispel the effects of the eye drops with the squeezed-out tears, and her panic subsided into a calm.
Given Shiraishi's personality, it's not so easy for him to lose his mind and want to commit suicide for love.
It's likely that Urahara and his crew's base isn't in the World of the Living, but in Hueco Mundo.
Given Kisuke Urahara, it's not surprising that his research into the Garganta could reach Hueco Mundo.
Besides, they originally left Soul Society for Hollowfication Experiment and went to Hueco Mundo to survive, which is quite normal.
Retsu Unohana pressed her hand to her chest, unable to deny that when she witnessed that scene, she failed to think rationally and instead immediately worried about the least likely option.
Perhaps, she wasn't as composed and unhurried with Shiraishi as she thought.
"Kid..." Retsu Unohana murmured, turned around, and returned to Seireitei.
Hueco Mundo, the Forest of Menos.
The oval-shaped Garganta opened up, Shiraishi used the Steel Tempest through the giant Hollow's body, then swung his sword backhand.
The giant void, which had not yet left the Garganta, dissipated into black particles.
He didn't check the attribute panel; this kind of utterly useless character had practically no experience.
You need at least Menos Grande to gain some experience.
Shiraishi tilted his head back.
The trees in the Forest of Menos are still ridiculously tall, reaching straight into the uppermost Sea of White Sand.
A few fluorescent lights hung there like stars, and several Gillian, strolled leisurely through the Forest of Menos.
These are all experiences.
He drew his knife.
Rescuing Kūkaku is certainly an emergency, but we cannot act rashly.
Shiraishi felt it would be safer to level up two levels first before considering heading to Las Noches to search for Kūkaku's whereabouts.
He pushed off with his foot and leaped into the air.
Gillian turned his head, his blade cleaving through the pale, massive bone surface. He stepped on it and leaped to the next Gillian before the bone surface dissipated.
Flash a flash of light, he single-handedly dispatched several Gillian were completely powerless to fight back.
Before landing, Shiraishi used his Steel Tempest himself forward through the raging wind, occasionally using tree trunks for leverage to keep himself in mid-air.
Kill Gillian you see, and unleash a slash at any group of giant Hollows you encounter.
This rate of experience gain still couldn't satisfy Shiraishi, so he decided to head to the upper Sea of White Sand.
" Bankai · Crimson Moon."
Shiraishi directly Bankai, entering the state of Blood Moon, unleashing a powerful, unique Hollow-like Reiatsu in the Forest of Menos.
Immediately afterwards, he pushed off with both feet, shooting upwards and breaking through the layers of Sea of White Sand.
The sky suddenly turned deep blue, devoid of clouds and stars, with a crescent moon hanging lonely in the sky.
The pale palace stood far away.
The wind ruffled his long, scarlet hair, and two pale blue electric lights, replacing his eyeballs, gazed at Las Noches.
Shiraishi turned around and resolutely devoted himself to the task of hunting down Adjuchas.
The Sea of White Sand in my memory should have had many Adjuchas, but in reality, there's a discrepancy.
The number of Adjuchas has plummeted, much like delivery drivers in 2022 losing their so-called high salaries.
He ran dozens of kilometers to kill one Adjuchas, and the next one was more than ten kilometers away.
He killed these Adjuchas intermittently, taking him further and further away from Las Noches until, eventually, the outline of Las Noches was no longer visible.
"Ah."
Another Adjuchas was defeated. Shiraishi stepped on the soft sand and checked his attribute panel.
In a short while, he didn't know how far he had run, nor how many Void creatures he had killed; he only knew that he had leveled up.
So I want to see how much experience I have before reaching the next level.
On the panel, his hero level increased from 12 to 13, and it would take 1685 experience points to level up to the next level.
His current experience level is 358, which is 1327 short.
Shiraishi looked down, his Reiatsu increasing to 12035, and he had one more skill point.
He had already leveled up his Steel Tempest to the maximum level and couldn't level it up any further, so he Steel Tempest to level four.
Having done all that, he put away the attribute panel and decided to look for his next prey.
Thump, thump.
A powerful Reiatsu suddenly enveloped the space, Shiraishi immediately gripped his sword.
Two Vasto Lorde appeared on the sand, attacking from both sides.
