The Unforgiven from Shinigami
The fluctuations in the Garganta disappeared.
The Denreishinki fell silent; the sound from before seemed to have been an illusion.
Shiraishi sheathed his sword; the experience gained from killing so many Hollows was just one.
It's really hard to muster any interest in hunting Hollows.
He stretched, looked around at the tall buildings, and decided to go downstairs to relax.
Maybe, just like in anime, I'll encounter a high school girl with incredibly strong Spiritual Power and a development so advanced that she doesn't seem like a typical high school girl.
That kind of encounter was quite interesting.
Shiraishi used the Steel Tempest Shunpo to Karakura Town, leaping off the rooftop and landing on the guardrail between the sidewalk and the road.
The morning light quietly spread across the ground, and the autumn wind blew, causing the yellowing leaves to fall.
High school girls in sailor uniforms rode by on bicycles, their bells occasionally ringing.
Shiraishi squatted there, watching the short skirt occasionally flutter in the autumn breeze. She couldn't actually see anything, but that's what made it worth watching.
After all, if you can actually see it, you're a pervert; if you can't, it's just an artistic appreciation of the youthful spirit of a girl.
It would be even better if it were summer.
As Shiraishi rested her chin on her hand, watching the boys and girls, she stepped onto the campus with naive thoughts in her heart.
The peaceful and serene scene is hard to imagine, as the world is now on the verge of destruction.
"Big brother! Is it really you?!"
A surprised cry rang out.
Shiraishi subconsciously glanced to the side and saw the black-haired boy running excitedly towards him, stopping in front of the railing, his face beaming with joy, "Big brother, I knew you wouldn't die so easily!"
"?"
Shiraishi looked completely bewildered. Who was this kid?
" Kaoru, wait for me!"
A girl ran past the students in front of her, her chest bulging.
Upon seeing the girl wearing goggles, Shiraishi realized, "Oh, it's you! The fact that you could see me means your Spiritual Power is quite strong; you're a promising talent."
Unagiya Kaoru, unable to understand his words, asked excitedly, "Big brother, how did you escape from the amusement Paradise? What about that girl?"
Shiraishi shrugged and said, "It's a long story, let's not talk about those troublesome things."
" Kaoru, I've told you many times, don't go there alone whispering to the ghost!"
The black-haired girl stood with her hands on her hips, glaring, looking quite aggressive.
Unagiya Kaoru retorted, " Ikumi, I was talking to my older brother, and he's right here."
Ikumi, looked at the empty railing, and said, "You can't even tell the difference between a ghost and a person? There's nobody there."
"Nonsense, can't you see someone this big right here?"
Unagiya Kaoru retorted again, turning to look at Shiraishi crouching by the railing. He didn't seem to be one of the ghosts he usually glimpsed.
To him, he was just a man in a kimono.
Ikumi strained her eyes and could indeed vaguely see a white patch above the railing, but she couldn't make out what it was at all.
"Hey, look! Those are Ikumi and Kaoru from Class 3. I heard they always say strange things on the street."
"That feels so scary." "Ghosts? They don't exist, do they?" "Hard to say, there have been a lot of paranormal events happening lately."
"Yes, I heard that last night in Tokyo, a man was walking down the street and suddenly only had his left hand left."
"The road suddenly split open at midnight." "Wow, that's scary." "Really?" " Masaki, why aren't you saying anything?"
"Target="_blank">>
"Ah."
Masaki Kurosaki realized what was happening and laughed, "I'm not really interested in horror stories."
"Hey, you seem like the kind of person who's terrified but still watches horror movies."
"Ugh, I've always preferred romance movies; I hardly ever watch horror movies."
Masaki Kurosaki replied that she already knew that all ghosts and monsters were just illusions.
The ghost was completely harmless.
Therefore, I have absolutely no interest in those kinds of horror stories.
Masaki Kurosaki glanced furtively at the railing, the scene of Shiraishi burning money on TV still vividly etched in her mind.
So he was Shinigami.
Judging by that outfit, he's definitely a Captain-level Shinigami.
Shiraishi noticed someone looking at her. Following the gaze, she met a pair of clear, brass-colored eyes. The girl had fair cheeks and short, orange-brown hair parted to the side.
It looks somewhat familiar.
He kept his eyes on it.
Masaki Kurosaki was very nervous. Not all Shinigami were as good as Isshin. What would happen if her Quincy identity were discovered?
She felt nervous, but she couldn't force herself to look away, so she pretended to be looking at Kaoru and Ikumi.
"Okay, Masaki, stop staring like that, or you'll get beaten up. That Ikumi is super violent. Last time I saw her pinning three older boys down in the bathroom and beating them up."
Her friend pulled her back, allowing her to easily shift her gaze. "That was truly terrifying."
call.
Shiraishi stood in front of them.
Masaki Kurosaki didn't even blink and continued walking forward.
Shiraishi seemed oblivious to the problem and stepped aside.
She walked over, feeling a sense of relief, and couldn't even hear what her friends were saying next to her.
Suddenly, a hand landed on her shoulder, and her body tensed. Shiraishi whispered in her ear, "You can see me, Quincy?"
!
Masaki Kurosaki's eyes widened, her hand already poised to attack.
"Haha, sorry, just kidding."
Shiraishi withdrew his hand, letting out a mischievous laugh. From the moment he heard the name Masaki, he had already guessed who this girl was.
Ichigo Kurosaki's mother.
Masaki Kurosaki gripped the shoulder strap tightly, flung it back forcefully, and shouted in embarrassment and anger, "Go to hell!"
She was so scared her heart almost jumped out of her chest.
Shiraishi casually dodged the attack and laughed, "Sorry, this is also my first time seeing Quincy, so I just wanted to play a trick on them."
" Masaki, what are you doing?"
"Suddenly I just want to shake off my bad luck; it's all your fault for talking about such terrifying topics."
Masaki Kurosaki explained to her friends, secretly made a face at Shiraishi, and headed towards school.
Shiraishi shook his head.
Unagiya Kaoru ran over, his face full of astonishment, and said, "Big brother, you really are a ghost! Why are you different from the other ghosts?"
This guy seemed oblivious to the atmosphere; the students around him were all circling him, looking at him like he was crazy, but he didn't seem to care.
Shiraishi crossed his arms and said, "Ghosts are just menial underlings. I am the Great Ghost King, standing above all ghosts, possessing immense power capable of influencing reality. I look almost the same as a human."
"Wow, that's amazing! No wonder you're the eldest brother!"
With a face full of admiration, Unagiya asked, "If I committed suicide, could I become as strong as you?"
Shiraishi thought for a moment and said, "The fact that you can see me means your Spiritual Power is not bad, and you have the potential to become Shinigami."
With high spirits, Unagiya Kaoru Unaya declared, "I'm going to die right now!"
Shiraishi realized this wasn't a joke and quickly grabbed him, saying, "Wait, don't do anything foolish."
