The Unforgiven from Shinigami
Kūgo Ginjō was unaware that he was dead; simply put, his memory was still stuck at the moment he swung his sword forward.
Upon reaching the Forest of Menos, he quickly leaped backward, bumping his back against something. Turning around, he saw a face with dark green tear stains.
The pair of green, childlike eyes stared silently at him and said, "You are all dead."
Ulquiorra calmly stated a fact, regardless of whether they could accept it or not, bluntly saying, "Come with me to see Lord Aizen. Don't make futile struggles; you can't escape Hueco Mundo."
Kūgo Ginjō pursed his lips, landed on the giant tree root, and looked at the Hollow in front of him. Unlike the Hollows he had seen before, this one was very close to human.
He wore a helmet made of two-horned bone, his face was deathly pale, and he wore a long white robe with black vertical stripes in the middle.
The dark wings, like those of a fallen angel, spread out behind him, making the Hollow's image resemble Lucifer from film and television works.
Are you guys really that weak?
Kūgo Ginjō voiced the question that had been lingering in his mind.
Ulquiorra said calmly, "We are Arrancar given meaning by Lord Aizen. Don't ask those questions, come with me."
" Ginjo," Shūkurō Tsukishima called out, " Riruka isn't here."
Where did she go?
Kūgo Ginjō's expression turned serious.
"I failed to kill her; Captain Shinigami has arrived."
Ulquiorra said, "This is the final warning. Come with me."
"Good."
Kūgo Ginjō nodded. He was also curious about what the leader of these Arrancar wanted with them, the Fullbringer.
He followed, and the other four followed as well.
Tristan was completely bewildered. He woke up here and even ran into Ginjo and the others. He had no idea what was going on. It wasn't until he heard Tsukishima's account on the way that he understood what had happened after his defeat.
The group left the Forest of Menos and headed towards Las Noches.
The artificial blue sky, the endless white sand, and the palace standing in the sea of sand deeply shocked them.
World of the Living architecture must always take science into account.
Las Noches is unnecessary; it can be built as large as possible.
Ulquiorra's hand slipped, and he opened his Garganta, saying, "Let's go."
The journey ahead is long, and walking would be too time-consuming. Using the Garganta would allow us to reach the Royal Palace of Las Noches much faster.
Kūgo Ginjō stepped into the Garganta first, while on the other side was a slightly dimly lit, empty hall.
There are dozens of pure white stone platforms of various sizes, with the central platform being the main one, and they are arranged separately.
From below, the figures of the Arrancar were completely swallowed up by the darkness, creating an extremely oppressive atmosphere.
Kūgo Ginjō looked up at the center.
There is a high-backed chair on the high platform.
A person was sitting there.
Her long brown hair was draped down her back, with a strand hanging down her forehead, and dark blue vertical lines on her forehead.
His childlike eyes were unusual, blue with white pupils, and he smiled as he said, "Welcome to the Las Noches, the Soul King's kneecaps and fragments."
Kūgo Ginjō frowned slightly and asked, "What are you talking about?"
" Fullbring is a higher level of power than Quincy. Compared to Fullbring who manipulate Reishi, Quincy, which can extract the souls of all things, is naturally a level above them."
https://
Aizen rested his cheek on his hand and explained, "That's only natural. After all, Quincy are imitators of the Soul King's fighting style, while you are the Soul King themselves."
Even fragments are more noble than them.
Kūgo Ginjō was disgusted by that tone and look, as if it could see right through him. He said somewhat irritably, "What do you plan to do to us?"
"I originally planned to use you as materials for the Hōgyoku, but after seeing you, I changed my mind."
Aizen disappeared from his seat, placed his hand on Kūgo Ginjō's chest, and said gently, "I'm very interested in your potential abilities."
Kūgo Ginjō wanted to step back, but a single look from him froze him in place, rendering him powerless to take another step.
"Very good," Aizen's voice was deep and magnetic, making people want to listen. "Just listen to what I have to say. Your ability is to absorb and bestow power upon others."
I've recently been trying to imbue the Arrancar with power to stimulate their evolution.
The effect was mediocre.
Your abilities are very valuable to me. Would you be willing to follow me?
Upon hearing the invitation, a relieved smile unconsciously appeared on Kūgo Ginjō's face. He himself was unaware that he had unknowingly come to regard confronting the man in front of him as an extremely terrifying thing.
So, when he heard that he could become a partner, a relieved smile appeared on his face.
What's in it for me?
He asked one more question.
Aizen smiled and said, "I will grant you even greater power to help you break through your limits."
Fullbring's abilities are quite interesting: Invaders Must Die, Time Tells No Lies, and the Book of the End.
It would be too wasteful to directly process raw materials into Hōgyoku artifact).
Not to mention Kūgo Ginjō.
This man is more valuable than Fullbringer; he is a hybrid of human and Shinigami, and possesses fragments of the Soul King.
That ability to bestow power upon others and to absorb it.
This greatly interested Aizen.
Even though he didn't have a good impression of the Soul King, he had to admit that the Soul King's Power was the most powerful force in the world.
If Aizen wants to surpass it, he must first imitate it, acquire the Soul King's Power, and then find a way to break free from the constraints of the Soul King's Power to reach a higher level.
Kūgo Ginjō was the perfect experimental subject for his research on the Soul King's Power.
"Alright, I agree to assist you, but that doesn't mean we're your subordinates."
Taking advantage of the situation Kūgo Ginjō raised his demands.
"Presumptuous."
A reprimand came from the stone platform.
Aizen raised his hand, unconcerned by Ginjo's attitude, "It's alright, Nelliel."
"Exist."
Her long, lake-green hair flowed down as she knelt on one knee, very respectfully.
"They look tired, take them away to rest."
"Yes." Nelliel stood up, her face aloof. "Come with me."
Kūgo Ginjō and the others followed Nelliel out of the hall.
Aizen returned to his high-backed chair and said, "You did a good job on this mission, Ulquiorra."
" Lord Aizen, I failed to bring back all the Fullbringer. Please punish me."
Ulquiorra didn't think his actions were particularly outstanding.
Aizen smiled and said, "You, Loly, Szayelaporro have done a great job bringing back five Fullbringer from Shiraishi."
" Yammy has been sacrificed."
Ulquiorra.
"If the opponent is Shiraishi, this is the price we have to pay."
Aizen didn't care about Yammy's death at all.
He didn't care about the thoughts or loyalty of all the Espada.
A tool is good as long as it's useful. Yammy's only purpose is to force Shiraishi to swing his knife one more time.
This buys some time, allowing Ulquiorra to kill the five Ginjo members.
" Szayelaporro, Loly, all actions concerning the World of the Living may cease."
Let the Shinigami pass through the next period in peace before facing final destruction.
