To reach the organization's stronghold, Nemu Kurotsuchi, the Shinigami vice-captain, cannot remain conscious.
Shiraishi controlled his strength, knocking her unconscious with a chop to the neck, before carrying her on his back.
It's not obvious from her appearance, but she's actually very well-endowed; you can tell from the feedback on her back that she's at least a 36D.
The thighs are fleshy but not fat, smooth but not greasy.
With her head resting on his shoulder, looking at her sleeping face up close, one couldn't find any fault with her.
"You really do like young girls," Kichō muttered, then turned and walked into the teahouse. "Come with me."
Shiraishi followed, carrying Nemu Kurotsuchi on his back.
Kichō went into her boudoir, took out a book from the bookshelf, put it back, took it out again, put it back again, and repeated this three times until a crack appeared in the floor.
A dark blue stone slab was revealed.
Kichō walked up and beckoned, "Come here."
Shiraishi stood on it curiously.
She stomped her foot, and the dark blue stone slab quickly sank, plunging her into darkness, while the ground above her closed in as well.
After a short while, not knowing how many meters they had fallen, a passage appeared in their line of sight, with walls and the ground all a cold blue-green.
"So your base was underground."
"Hmm, the ground isn't very convenient for movement, and if we encounter a Hollow, it'll lead to trouble in battle. It's much quieter underground."
Kichō explained as she walked, leading people out of the passage and into a wider, higher main aisle, where she pressed a button on the wall.
With a roar, the mud buried the previous passage, and she turned to the left.
The main road stretches straight ahead, with occasional side roads connecting to it.
Shiraishi looked around. He wasn't interested in the rebel organization, but he liked the style of operating in secrecy, which gave him a mysterious feeling of being a secret agent in a movie.
At the end of the main road is a spacious area, at least tens of meters high and about two or three hundred meters wide, with a fixed blue sky and white clouds above.
A striking hot spring waterfall sits in the center, emitting a roaring sound of flowing water.
The waterfall is surrounded by green lawns interspersed with unidentified wildflowers, some red, some white, and some green, their colors appearing very vibrant.
A cobblestone path leads all the way to the hot spring where the waterfall cascades down.
Kichō led the way.
Shiraishi followed behind, his gaze fixed on the waterfall, from which he could sense a frenzied, violent, and destructive Reiatsu.
Upon closer inspection, he noticed a figure vaguely visible beneath the waterfall. Were they practicing martial arts?
"This is our leader, Owari Group Oda Nobunaga."
Kichō turned to him and explained.
Shiraishi doesn't actually know much about Japan; he only knows some of the names of famous figures in Japan history through anime and games.
In his narrow understanding, the name Oda Nobunaga definitely deserves a place.
The original source was the Ambition of Oda Nobuna.
While watching this show, the screen was filled with images of Oda Nobunaga as a female character, so I did some research out of curiosity and learned about Oda Nobunaga's life.
Oda Nobunaga was originally a daimyo of Owari Province. His famous battle was the Battle of Okehazama, where he defeated Imagawa Yoshimoto with fewer troops, thus gaining great fame.
Later, by Ashikaga Yoshiaki, the last shogun who supported the Muromachi Shogunate, he marched on Kyoto and gradually gained control of the Kyoto. He then formally proposed the policy of "unifying Japan by force," aiming to unify all of Japan.
He broke through Nobunaga's encirclement twice, defeating each of the opposing daimyo one by one, and gained control of most of Japan's territory.
Finally, just as he was about to unify the country, he was betrayed by his subordinates and died in the famous Honnoji Incident.
Some netizens even compared him to Cao Cao.
Shiraishi never expected to actually see a historical figure in person. He asked with great interest, "This is the first time I've met a historical figure. Can I see what you look like?"
A hand emerged from the waterfall, covered in burn scars, unrecognizable as human. An extremely hoarse voice echoed through the waterfall, "As you can see, my body is burned by flames. The heat constantly sears me. Only staying in the hot springs can slightly alleviate the pain."
" Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto."
As soon as Shiraishi saw the hand, he knew who had caused it.
"You guessed right. Back in my youth, I was full of vigor and wanted to assassinate Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto to seize the world, but he ended up injuring me like this instead. For three hundred years, I have never left the bottom of the waterfall."
Oda Nobunaga recounted the past, his words devoid of resentment or anger, but rather calm, as if he were recounting a tragedy that had befallen someone else.
" Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto, he is a monster beyond my imagination."
"Knowing this, you still refuse to give up challenging him."
"The greatest joy in life is defeating a powerful enemy."
Oda Nobunaga Nobunaga's hoarse voice revealed a deep joy; just thinking about defeating Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto made his physical pain seem insignificant.
Or rather, the only thought that allowed him to persevere through such extreme pain was to defeat Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto.
Otherwise, how could he have endured the scorching heat for three hundred years, forced to stay under the waterfall, living a life of misery and darkness?
Shiraishi couldn't help but ask, "You're so confident, you must have a way to cure burns, right?"
"Now we only need a rare snow lotus as a medicinal ingredient to make a cooling medicine to dispel the heat."
Oda Nobunaga answered truthfully, "To obtain the snow lotus, I need your help."
Shiraishi guessed, "Is it related to the case of getting rich?"
"Yes, I've received information that the snow lotus is among the tax collectors this time."
When Oda Nobunaga mentioned this matter, his tone inevitably wavered slightly, and he began to explain in detail, "At the end of each month, each Rukongai pays its monthly tax to the Central 46 Chambers, and is escorted to the Seireitei by the Shinigami Seated Officer of the 11th Division."
For security reasons, many noble families would smuggle treasures intended for the nobles into the tax revenue when transporting them to Seireitei.
"Our target is the tax collection team at the end of May. The ambush location is in West District 15). The money is yours, and we want the Snow Lotus."
Such generous terms made Shiraishi uneasy. "You don't want a single penny, you just want the snow lotus?"
"To me, that's priceless; it must be handled flawlessly."
Oda Nobunaga had had enough of being in this awful place, enough of the scorching heat that tormented him day and night. He couldn't wait to get rid of it and get a good night's sleep.
Shiraishi nodded emphatically and said, "Alright, since you're so willing to go to such lengths, I'll definitely help you bring the snow lotus back."
"I believe you can, cough cough."
Before Oda Nobunaga could finish speaking, he began to cough. The lingering heat from Ryujin Ryūjin Jakka seemed to be evaporating all the moisture in his body, making it impossible for him to speak for even a short time.
" Nobunaga, you should rest."
Kichō quickly spoke up to persuade her.
"Ahem, sorry." Oda Nobunaga tilted his head back and drank large gulps of hot spring water to combat the pervasive heat within his body.
Shiraishi said considerately, "It's alright, you should take good care of your injuries. I'm tired too, could you please arrange a place for me to rest?"
