In the seventh chapter of the novel " Shinigami the Unforgiven," the protagonist retreats, stops, and advances. Another day of fierce fighting has passed, but instead of a night of frenzied battle, he gets a good night's sleep and enjoys the warmth of home.

The soft blankets and the soft Kūkaku ) make you want to sleep until the sun is high in the sky.

The August sun is unusually diligent, unlike the lazy sun in the dead of winter; by six in the morning, the sky is already bright.

The beauty in his arms stirred.

Shiraishi didn't open his eyes, continuing to hold him, murmuring, " Kūkaku, sleep a little longer."

"Wake up! Koganehiko is calling us to get up."

Kūkaku Shiba patted his face, but couldn't wake the person who was pretending to be asleep, so he reached down to launch a sneak attack.

"Hiss."

Shiraishi opened her eyes, her face slightly flushed, and said shyly, "You're so naughty, doing this so early in the morning, but I really like it."

"Ugh, don't disgust me, get up quickly, Ganju and the others are waiting outside."

The last trace of haziness in Kūkaku Shiba's eyes was completely cleared by what he said, and she pushed him away with both hands and feet.

Shiraishi remained unmoved, lowered his head and kissed her forehead. "Okay, I'll get up."

They threw back the covers, and the cold wind made them both shiver. They started picking up their clothes that were scattered around them and quickly put them on.

Upon reaching the living room, Koganehiko and Shiroganehiko greeted each other in unison, "Good morning, Lord Kūkaku and Lord Shiraishi."

Good morning, big sister and big brother.

The Ganju bowed in greeting.

Shiraishi patted him on the shoulder and laughed, "It's been a while, and you've become a reliable man."

Ganju smiled and said, "Compared to my elder brother, I'm still far behind."

"Nonsense, I was just praising you a little, and you took it seriously. Ichigo started training later than you, but his strength has already surpassed yours. If you don't work harder, you won't even be able to beat Karin."

Kūkaku Shiba was extremely disappointed in her younger brother, who was still not even a regular captain and was only at the level of a third or fourth seat.

This made her suspect that there was a problem with her education. "Once the Shin'ō Academy is rebuilt, I'll send you there for further studies."

Ganju wanted to argue, but glancing at his older sister's Riot Games, he swallowed his complaints, tugged at Shiraishi's sleeve, and said earnestly, "You've really worked hard, brother."

"You are not a fish, how can you know the joy of fish?"

Shiraishi calmly replied.

Bang.

Kūkaku Shiba slammed Ganju to the ground with a punch, angrily saying, "Do you think I can't understand what you mean? Don't try to play tricks on me!"

"I'm sorry..." Ganju was in tears. When would his older sister finally stop caring about him?

Shiraishi advised, "Don't lose your temper so early in the morning."

Are you teaching me how to do things?

Kūkaku Shiba glanced at him sideways.

Ignoring the longing look in Ganju's eyes for a hero, Shiraishi silently sat down and began to eat, saying, "This dish tastes good."

The light in the Ganju's eyes vanished.

Kūkaku Shiba continued her verbal and Riot Games "education."

Soul Society, Second Division headquarters.

Similar to the Fourth Division, the statues of Aizen and the Espada were removed from the church and converted into the Second Division's office space.

The reason for this change is to avoid inconveniencing the public.

Shinigami has just regained power and cannot guarantee that it can conscript a large number of people for construction.

Cleaning up statues is different; the Shinigami can move in quickly without having to demolish the entire church.

After all, if they were to find another place to work, the church would undoubtedly have to be demolished.

They couldn't keep the church and allow people to continue their faith in Aizen.

Attacking Aizen's faith and proclaiming the Soul King as the supreme ruler of the three realms is the current politically correct approach.

When Soi Fon is on duty, she won't wear the clothes she thinks are pretty as usual, but will revert to her captain's outfit of black inside and white outside.

The haori on the shoulders represents responsibility.

But the residents didn't seem to think that way; the occasional glances from the doors and windows were all filled with disgust.

It reminded her of when she used to walk through Rukongai, where the residents also harbored a deep aversion to the Shinigami.

The result is that without Shinigami, the world would only be worse.

She ignored the stares of the people and walked across the bridge to the church.

It must be said that Aizen really spared no expense in building his church, making it extremely grand and beautiful.

The interior is luxurious, with a mix of colors and gold, and the hall can accommodate tens of thousands of people to pray here.

The passageway was wide and tall, so much so that when the Second Division moved in, it looked like hundreds of ants scattered in a room of hundreds of square meters, making it seem very empty.

Soi Fon's current office belongs to the priest, and the Aizen statues inside have all been destroyed.

Nothing else was moved.

She pushed the door open.

Sunlight streamed into the room through the vertical windows; oil paintings hung on the walls, and a crystal chandelier dangled from the ceiling.

A person sat at the rectangular desk, with black hair and regular features. "Good morning, Soi Fon ~"

Soi Fon's large eyes narrowed, becoming extremely sharp. Shunpo forward, brought her small head close to her chest, took a deep breath, and exhaled. "Very good, no trace of that savage woman."

"Uh, why do you and Kūkaku have such a big conflict?"

Shiraishi couldn't help but ask a question.

Soi Fon's face immediately turned cold as she said, "You want to teach me a lesson on her behalf?"

"If anyone bullies you, I'll definitely stand by your side."

Shiraishi, with a stern face, indicated that he would always stand by Shiraishi's side.

"Snort."

Soi Fon snorted, not believing his nonsense. It was clearly true, yet a sweet feeling rose in her heart, and she couldn't help but curse herself for being so spineless!

What are you doing here?

She changed the subject.

Shiraishi grinned and said, "Of course I'm looking for you."

"I'm busy right now. Go to the First Division and find Captain-Commander Yamamoto; he has something to discuss with you."

Shiraishi asked, puzzled, "What does he want with me?"

Soi Fon thought for a moment and then voiced her guess, "They probably want to ask you about the future governance system."

There are currently three opinions. One is to bring back the former nobles, establish the Central 46 Chambers, and get everything back on track.

One approach is to introduce new governance methods, bypassing nobles and instead, like Aizen, allowing captains to directly participate in governance, managing both the squads and civil servants.

Another opinion is that Central 46 Chambers should be formed, comprised of humans, Arrancar, nobles, Quincy, Shinigami, to manage the three realms, with a complete separation of military and political power.

These three different opinions represent different paths and different directions for the future development of the world.

Only when the path is clear can people understand which direction to focus their efforts in order to achieve postwar reconstruction in the shortest possible time.

Soi Fon, which one do you prefer?

Shiraishi wanted to hear her opinion.

Soi Fon shook her head and said, "Forget it, I don't want to influence your judgment. Choose whatever you want."

"..."

Shiraishi scratched his head. Choices, huh? He wasn't good at making choices for others, let alone something that could affect the world order with just a single sentence.

Choosing the wrong option has consequences that can't be resolved by simply bowing and apologizing.

"What a hassle," he muttered, but still decided to meet with Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto.
