The Shinigami the Unforgiven, Chapter 65: Yhwach Awakens, War Begins. Spring passed, summer arrived, and autumn followed.
The midday sun shines down.
Inside the frost-covered Ice Palace, the man on the throne with his eyes closed gently trembled his Matsuge.
The subtle changes caused a tremor in the Reishi, which did not escape the notice of the Schutzstaffel. They did not continue to stand in a triangular formation around the throne, but instead moved to the open space in front of the throne.
"Your Majesty, congratulations on your awakening."
"Um."
A deep voice echoed through the palace, a black and red cloak billowed without wind, Yhwach opened his eyes, three scarlet pupils turned, and a heavy pressure enveloped the entire palace. "Long-awaited sunlight, what a nice view to see as soon as I wake up."
Yhwach gazed at the sky outside the palace, and the future seemed to float before him like grains of sand—a truly wonderful feeling.
" Soldat," he called out.
A captain of the Soldat waiting outside immediately stepped into the hall with Hirenkyaku, knelt on one knee, and said, "Your Majesty, what are your orders?"
"Summon the Sternritter and all Quincy to assemble Sun Gate."
Yhwach issued the order, having found the path to victory from among many futures.
Compared to those wise men, he didn't need to think too much. He only needed to open his eyes, see the possibility of his own victory in multiple futures, and then seize the victory.
The so-called the Almighty and omnipotence is such a terrifying power.
Moreover, compared to seeing the future, the Soul King's Power he gained by devouring Jehovah is enough to change the future.
How could he possibly lose?
The Soldat swiftly relayed Yhwach's orders to the Sternritter and the Quincy.
Soon, the entire Wandenreich learned that His Majesty had awakened.
Uryū Ishida's expression was solemn. He decided to wake that guy up; there was no other way.
He was not strong enough to deal with three Schutzstaffel at the same time.
War is coming.
Uryū Ishida sent a message to Soul Society via the internet, but it kept spinning in circles; the internet signal had dropped.
His expression turned solemn. He abandoned the idea of issuing a notification, left the third training ground, and headed towards the Sun Gate of the Ice Palace.
Bambietta rushed over from Uryū's bedroom, her pale face grave. " Uryū, do you think we should go to war against the Shinigami?"
"Definitely," Uryū Ishida replied calmly. "Are you afraid?"
"Um."
Bambietta did not feign strength; her brow furrowed, she said, "I fear death. If I fail to achieve enough merit, His Majesty will not forgive me lightly."
"Then come with me."
Uryū Ishida patted her on the shoulder, a rare occurrence for him, his determined gaze penetrating through his glasses.
"Hey~ Even if it's Hell, I'll still follow my darling."
Bambietta's eyes sparkled with hearts, and she instantly transformed into a sloth, clinging tightly to him. She felt she hadn't chosen the wrong man, and her sense of security was overflowing.
Uryū Ishida was still not used to her being so affectionate in public, regardless of the occasion, and said with a slightly flushed face, "Okay, okay, just let go. There are other people watching."
"Let them watch."
Bambietta didn't mind, and continued to hug his neck tightly, pressing against the back of his head, feeling his breath, and calming her panicked heart.
Uryū Ishida looked somewhat helpless, pushed up his glasses, and could only carry her forward.
Soon after, Candice arrived, holding a comb and still combing her messy, grass-green hair. "Why did Your Majesty choose to wake up when I was sleeping in? Ugh, I can't even comb my hair properly!"
"Shut up."
Liltotto stopped her from behind, preventing her from making a dangerous remark. His Majesty was not someone to be criticized casually.
"Nonsense," Candice retorted, then looked at Bambietta, who was clinging to Uryū's back. " Bambi, can't you walk by yourself?"
"No way, I won't give Little Candi a chance to come up here."
Bambietta turned her head away, indicating that she didn't want to talk to her.
Candice's temper flared up.
"Stop arguing, Little Candi, Bambietta, His Majesty doesn't like fighting."
Giselle, sporting two cockroach-like ahoge (cowlicks), smoothed things over with a beaming smile, " Uryū, we're counting on you to make our mark in this war."
"Hmm," Uryū Ishida replied casually. For some reason, he felt that something was off about Giselle. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but he just had a feeling that he couldn't trust this guy.
Giselle smiled, burying all jealousy and malice in her eyes. Bambietta was her toy, and she wouldn't give it to anyone else.
He wants to obtain Bambietta through this war, and even Uryū Ishida would turn into a zombie if given the chance.
Then, hehe...
The thought of that scene made him excited, and his smile became even more harmless.
The group arrived at the Ice Palace above Silbern. The place was spacious, and the rest of the Sternritter were already there, seated in the first row.
The Sternritter lost in the great war has never been replaced; the order is still composed of the same group of members.
Uryū Ishida found his position, Bambietta moved away from his back and stood on his left.
Candice was on the right, and Liltotto was standing nearby because of them.
Haschwalth glanced around, then returned to the palace. Everything had already begun; if Uryū Ishida made any rebellious moves, he would purge him immediately.
As everyone gradually arrived, the scene fell silent, awaiting the appearance of the King of the Quincy.
Under their watchful eyes, Yhwach left the throne and stepped out of the palace, his black and red cloak as light as gauze, his steps firm and powerful, his scarlet pupils swirling in his eye sockets.
"Gentlemen, I hate war."
Yhwach stood at the palace gate, his deep, magnetic voice carrying downwards, "The moment war begins, sacrifice will be inevitable, people will face death, and that is a terrible thing."
It means you will never see your loved ones again, never see the sunlight, never touch your friends' hands again; everything in this world will leave you.
"Death is so terrifying, it inspires fear."
Yhwach paused, his gaze shifting from them to the sky, "That is why I want to break the chains of death and bring a world without death."
First, we must launch a full-scale attack on Soul Society. Do not gather together; instead, break in from a dispersed manner, annihilate Shinigami we encounter, and advance towards the wonderful world without death.
The Sun Gate emitted light, and a jet-black shadow stretched across the ground. Seeing this, Uryū Ishida could only quickly say, "Find me first, Bambi, Candice, Lily."
The shadows swept them away, giving them almost no time to react.
Uryū Ishida stepped out from the shadow of a building; the park was not far away.
People were completely unaware of the impending war and continued with their daily lives.
"Damn it!" Uryū Ishida shouted, took out his phone, found that the network was still working, immediately contacted other people in the group, and sent a friend request to the Shinigami.
He's going to betray us.
