Winter goes and spring comes.
The New Year's atmosphere has completely faded away. In the third year of the Stone Calendar, March has arrived. Early spring brings new life to all things. The chill has not yet dissipated, but there is no trace of snow.
Tender green grass spread freely across the mountains, and streams meandered down from the high mountains without causing much of a commotion.
Shiraishi unfolded the checkered fabric and spread it on the grass; a few rays of sunlight pierced through the branches and fell to the ground.
Retsu Unohana wore a wide-brimmed round hat and a white dress adorned with chrysanthemums, looking like a woman who had stepped out of a painting.
She carefully squatted down, underestimating her own development. Her waist hadn't changed, but her chest was noticeably larger than before.
The chrysanthemum pattern on the chest of the dress was stretched so tight it looked like it was about to burst, which looked very unsightly.
But she didn't want to wear her work clothes when she went out, so she had to put the basket of food on the cloth.
Today, the three of us went on a spring outing to admire the majestic mountains, lush forests, and streams, welcoming the arrival of spring.
There was no one else here, making the air very quiet, with birdsong drifting from the woods.
Hakuhō is no longer the little child who can only crawl. She can't speak clearly yet, but her feet can already move on the ground. She waddles along, making people worry that she might fall at any moment, but she always manages to move forward.
She chased after the butterflies, running around there.
Shiraishi didn't step forward to stop them. Children are energetic, which is a good thing. The animals that could threaten Hakuhō had already been cleared away by him.
They weren't killed, but rather arrested and imprisoned until the spring outing was over before being released.
"How leisurely."
Shiraishi picked up the tea brewed by Retsu Unohana, took a sip, and felt that only with work could the beauty of a holiday be truly appreciated.
Let's change it to a two-day weekend from now on.
He thought about it, then rejected the idea, realizing he couldn't be too lazy; if the upper beam is crooked, the lower beam will be crooked too.
Under his diligent administration, the atmosphere within the cabinet was no longer as corrupt as it had initially been; at least those people were no longer so greedy.
To completely eradicate this problem, a new generation of talent needs to be injected into the government.
Shiraishi shook his head. "We're already here, why are you still thinking about official business? Just relax."
He stretched and leaned to the side.
Retsu Unohana stared at Hakuhō, not resisting the sudden intrusion of his head. She naturally ruffled his hair, her fingertips gently stroking his cheek, and smiled, "Want a lap pillow?"
I want you to feed me.
Taking advantage of the Shiraishi, Shiraishi dove in, burying her head in the air and taking a deep breath, wanting to inhale the faint scent of milk into her lungs.
It has to be said that the scent of a woman who has given birth is different from before; it lacks that fresh, herbal fragrance.
[Honestly, I've been following the updates lately, switching sources, and using various reading voice options. yeguoyuedu is available for both Android and iOS.]
Retsu Unohana rolled her eyes and said, "What are you thinking?"
" Little Hō can't see us, she's chasing us. Keep an eye on us, and when you turn around, release a little Reiatsu, and we'll return to normal."
Shiraishi continued to urge her on, his hand beginning to try and pull down the shoulder strap of her dress.
Retsu Unohana was thrilled by his growing interest in her, poking her cheek and saying gently, "I'm really impressed by you, you little devil."
"Aren't you excited too?"
Shiraishi complained that while the scenery outside was beautiful, it wasn't as captivating as the scenery of Retsu Unohana.
A truly beautiful landscape is one that is both scenic and fun to visit.
Hakuhō didn't really care about her parents' affairs; she chased after one butterfly after another, her eyes filled with curiosity about everything in the world.
She wondered why the butterfly was different from herself, and why it could fly.
Unable to find answers, she became even more enthusiastic about the chase. After running for a while, Hakuhō turned around in all directions and realized that her parents were missing.
Where is this place?
Hakuhō couldn't understand it at all, so she looked up and burst into tears.
Her father would come over as soon as she started crying.
"Waaah!" Her cries carried on the wind.
"Sweetie, what's wrong?"
Shiraishi appeared immediately. Although he was having fun, he still kept an eye on his baby's whereabouts and movements, wiping the pure white milkshake from his mouth with his right hand.
"Dad."
With teary eyes, Hakuhō stretched out her two chubby little hands, begging for a hug.
Shiraishi exclaimed with delight, "My darling, you can actually say 'Daddy' now? Say it again!"
"Daddy," she repeated, her expression shifting from tears to a smile, as Shiraishi scooped her up and nuzzled her face against his. "Yes, Daddy's here."
Shiraishi was very excited. He hugged her and turned around, saying, "Lie, listen! She can say 'daddy' now! Quick, take a video! I want to send it to everyone!"
You're exaggerating.
Retsu Unohana blushed slightly, feeling a pang of jealousy. She looked at Hakuhō and said, " Little Hō, quickly call her 'Mama'."
"Dad."
Hakuhō answered with a smile.
"Haha, my sweet daughter, let Daddy give you a kiss."
Shiraishi kissed her cheek and urged her again, "Lie, hurry up and film me."
"Okay."
Retsu Unohana glared at him. "It's just calling me 'Dad,' what's all the fuss about?" She took his phone and helped him film a video, recording the scene of Hakuhō calling him "Dad."
"Haha, quickly send it to Nel and the others."
Shiraishi immediately sent this joyful message to all his friends, with the title. "My daughter's first words were 'Dad!'"
"What are you grinning about?" Retsu Unohana pinched his waist. She hadn't seen him this happy before. She leaned closer and said, " Little Hō, you should call me Mommy, Mommy~ Mommy."
"Daddy." Hakuhō could only say this one word, her little hand grasping her index finger, revealing a heartwarming smile that could melt even the Iceburg.
Retsu Unohana has absolutely no temper; she's truly helpless when it comes to this little darling.
The message sent by Shiraishi to the group received a quick reply.
Kūkaku Shiba: " Little Hō's first words weren't calling me 'Fourth Aunt'? I give her snacks every day!"
Soi Fon: "Quick, bring her back! I want her to call me 'Third Aunt'!"
Isane Kotetsu: "Great! Will Little Hō call Captain Unohana' Mom'?"
Mayuri Kurotsuchi: "Grandpa and such, what a troublesome title. But it's also troublesome when people don't have titles. It's really troublesome that this kid can talk."
Nemu Kurotsuchi: "Please take this to the Research and Development Institute as soon as possible. Mayuri needs to upgrade all the game equipment within the bureau."
Tier Harribel and Nelliel expressed their congratulations and envy, stating that they must have lunch together.
They all wanted Hakuhō to call them "Mom."
Shiraishi replied to them with pride, saying that the first person the child called him was his father.
He then replied to each of those who congratulated him, such as Ichigo Kurosaki Rukia, with a boastful tone.
As for Mayuri Kurotsuchi, well, he would never let Hakuhō call him grandfather.
Kenpachi Zaraki was outrageous. "When are we going to let her fight with a sword? With your and Retsu's bloodline, she'll definitely be very strong."
"Roll."
Shiraishi simply replied with one word, "Are you kidding me? He would never let his precious daughter mingle with a bunch of burly men carrying knives."
He, as the father, will handle all the dangers.
