The wind was calm and the sea was still; seagulls danced in the air.
The unimaginable shadow has vanished, but the impact still lingers in the hearts of the Straw Hat Pirates.
"Impossible..." Sanji's hand trembled slightly as he pulled out a cigarette. No matter how he thought about it, he couldn't believe that a human of that size could exist.
"Yes, it couldn't possibly be that big."
Usopp agreed with him.
"Haha, that's truly amazing," Shiraishi said with a broad smile. He knew the shadows were fake, but when he actually saw it, he was still awestruck by the scene.
No matter how many times I watch it, I always find it very interesting.
Sanji lit a cigarette and muttered, "What kind of weird day is this?"
Zoro, unusually, didn't disagree and chimed in, "First, a huge ship descended from the sky."
The Log Pose remained fixed on the sky.
Nami hugged her knees, looking utterly helpless.
Usopp looked exasperated. "Then, strange Masira appeared and tried to salvage the ship."
Chopper chimed in, "But then the giant sea turtle swallowed the ship and everyone else whole."
"Night has fallen..." Robin rested his cheek on his hand, looking somewhat tired.
Luffy exaggeratedly added, "Then a super monster appeared that was dozens of times bigger than a giant!"
"Even I'm terrified, it's terrifying!" the Masira echoed, hugging his knees.
A brief silence...
"Get out of here!" Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji, bursting with intense anger, joined forces to use a kicking technique to send the Masira flying.
Retsu Unohana smiled and said, "Everyone looks very energetic."
"Not at all," Nami complained.
The ship sailed slowly on the sea.
Usopp leaned against the railing, gazing into the distance, and began to boast afterwards, " Chopper, I wasn't bragging."
"Hmm?" Chopper, who was lying next to Usopp.
"If I get serious, that monster is no match for me."
Usopp answered confidently.
Chopper's eyes widened in surprise as he looked at Usopp. "Really?!"
"I once single-handedly took down ten of them!"
Usopp wore a proud expression.
"Ten of them!!" Chopper was shocked again.
"Ten of them? Usopp could definitely manage that if he got serious. As for me, hundreds of thousands wouldn't be a problem."
Shiraishi walked over with a smile.
"Hundreds of thousands?!" Chopper and Usopp stared at Shiraishi in shock.
"Hey, Shiraishi."
Usopp leaned close to Shiraishi's ear and whispered, "Why are you bragging to Chopper like me? And hundreds of thousands is such an exaggeration."
Defeating even one of those monsters is an impossible task, let alone hundreds of thousands.
Ultimately, there probably weren't hundreds of thousands of those things.
Shiraishi spread his hands and said, "Well, that's a bit of an exaggeration. To be precise, I can take down as many as come."
" Shiraishi! You're amazing!"
Chopper exclaimed in surprise.
"You're even better at bragging than me..." Usopp was speechless. He admitted that the person in front of him was strong, but it couldn't be that outrageous.
Shiraishi smiled, realizing he hadn't been wrong; the dark figure was just an ordinary soldier from Sky Island.
Usopp could definitely take down ten of them without any problem.
The three of them were chatting here.
On the deck in front of the Going Merry, Nami had expected to find a huge pile of treasure, but instead, she saw only swords and armor on the deck.
She couldn't hold back any longer and exploded, "Why did you dive to the bottom of the sea?!"
There was no treasure, no clue to the Sky Island, just a pile of scrap metal, not even worth much to sell as scrap.
Nami so angry she felt like her lungs were about to explode.
Zoro retorted, "It's not that there isn't any, it's that there isn't any left."
"Yes, Nami, that's the truth."
Sanji, with a cigarette dangling from his lips, agreed with Zoro's words, explaining, "That ship was clearly looted. If not, then some internal strife caused them to kill each other."
Nami glared and said, "That's why we need intelligence even more! If we go to Sky Island next, what happened on that ship could very well happen to us, do you understand?"
The more she spoke, the angrier she became. She put her hands on her hips and stomped on the ground, saying, "What I need is vital intelligence! What are you doing with these rusty swords, cutlery, and live octopuses?"
"Waaaaah!" Sanji and Zoro were like men watching their beloved figurines being mercilessly trampled on, wanting to stop but unable to, and could only let out helpless howls.
I hope someone will show mercy.
As expected, Luffy, in his excitement, ran right into a trap.
" Luffy, what's that?" Nami asked in a very calm tone.
Luffy that someone's anger had reached its breaking point, Luffy chuckled and said, "Armor~"
Bang!
Nami unleashed her Iron Fist on her teammate, shattering Luffy and his Luffy with a single blow.
"Ah, the armor is shattered." Zoro looked distressed; he also wanted to wear the cool armor and walk around in it!
Sanji quickly presented the treasure, " Nami, this is a beautiful seashell I specially picked up for you."
"Who cares, you idiots!"
Nami yelled a few words and continued walking up to the second floor.
Robin sat gracefully on the ship's railing and asked, "You seem very tired."
"It'll be even more tiring from now on," Nami replied irritably. "I don't know where I'll end up if I'm hanging out with those idiots!"
"This is for you."
Robin took out a Log Pose.
Nami took it, looking quite surprised, and said, "Isn't this the Eternal Log Pose?"
Robin smiled and said, "I got it from that Masira just now."
"Mmm." Nami couldn't help but shed tears of joy, "Women are definitely the most reliable!"
"Octopus? Sanji, I want to eat takoyaki."
Fully healed, Luffy clamored for food.
Robin sighed, "You look like you've suffered a lot."
"Hmm, Jaya, is this their base?"
Nami murmured.
" Jaya? Where are we going?"
Luffy, holding a plate of freshly made takoyaki, leaned against the railing and asked a question.
Nami's temper flared up again, and she yelled, "Isn't it the captain's decision where we go?"
"Oh, turn the helm, head towards Jaya!"
Luffy shouted.
Retsu Unohana objected, "Won't the Log Pose's record be erased by Jaya's magnetic record in that case?"
"Stop!" Luffy quickly crossed his arms, halting the voyage, and turned to ask, " Nami, what's going on?"
Nami replied matter-of-factly, "What? What's going on? You were the one who said you were going to Jaya."
"Ah, right," Luffy said with a sudden realization, then his expression changed. "No, I didn't expect this."
"This isn't a matter of whether or not we considered it; everything depends on the Log Pose."
Nami sighed.
Luffy understood again, "Oh, right."
That's what he said, but he never showed any consideration for others. "Alright, Nami, I'm the captain, I decide the voyage, I'm going to Sky Island!"
"Okay, the question is, how do we get there?"
Nami spread her hands.
Retsu Unohana rested her chin on her hand. "I knew I had to ask someone."
Luffy nodded, "That's right, let's ask Jaya then."
"The result is still the same," Usopp muttered.
Robin explained, "It's impossible to fill up the record immediately upon arrival. We'll stay in Jaya for now and head to Sky Island before the record is full."
"Yes, yes." Luffy nodded repeatedly.
"She's so cute! How about meeting my daughter sometime?"
Retsu Unohana is like a mother-in-law looking at her son-in-law; the more she looks at him, the more pleasing he becomes.
"No way." Shiraishi firmly objected.
Sanji strode up with an alluring gait, announcing, "Here comes the unprecedented takoyaki, exclusively for ladies~"
Amidst the commotion, the Going Merry temporarily sailed towards the mysterious land of Jaya.
" Usopp, haven't you seen it yet?"
Zoro looked up and asked a question.
"Hmm, I haven't seen it yet."
Usopp, standing on the lookout tower, responded with his binoculars in hand.
"It shouldn't be that far, right? That ape said that place we just saw was his territory."
Zoro it somewhat strange.
Nami stood with her hands behind her back, facing the sea breeze, sensing the change in weather with her body. "Yes, the weather has been very stable since just now. We may have entered the climate zone of Jaya."
Luffy, lying on the goat's head of the Going Merry, grinned and said, " Jaya must be Spring Island."
Chopper replied with a smile, "Yeah, it's warm and cozy, so comfortable."
Then, Chopper looked up at the seagulls flying in the sky, "Spring is so nice, the seagulls seem happy too."
No sooner had he finished speaking than a seagull that had been flying in the sky suddenly fell onto the deck of the Going Merry.
"Whoa! The seagull has been hit!!"
Chopper stepped forward, saw the wound, and immediately widened his eyes and shouted.
Luffy over, his face beaming with excitement, and exclaimed, "Wow! Let's grill it and eat it!"
Shiraishi also came over and said, "Let's make soup instead."
Usopp shouted down from the lookout tower, "You said we were hit?! But I didn't hear any gunshots!"
Chopper pulled the bullet out of the seagull's body, held it up to Usopp, and said, "Look, it's a bullet! Judging from the angle of the impact, it came from the front of the ship."
"You mean, a bullet that might have been fired from Jaya Island, which we haven't even seen a shadow of? Chopper, that's impossible."
Nami stepped forward and rejected the suggestion.
"Haha, what kind of eyesight, gun, and skill would it take to do that? You must have been shot somewhere else and just happened to fall down like that."
Usopp answered with a smile.
" Sanji, seagull!" Luffy shouted.
"Okay, I understand. I'll use one for soup, roast one, and use the other as an ingredient in fried rice."
Sanji walked over and carried the three seagulls into the kitchen.
Chopper looked aggrieved and said, "I didn't lie."
"Yeah," Retsu Unohana patted his head, then said to Usopp and Nami, "It was a bullet that killed the seagull. Looks like there's someone powerful on Jaya Island."
"Huh?" Nami and Usopp's cowardice kicked in.
" Unohana, you have to protect me!"
Nami immediately moved closer to her, "Don't leave her side for even a moment."
You're exaggerating.
Retsu Unohana laugh.
After enjoying a feast of seagulls, the ship sailed to the port on the West Blue of Jaya.
"This looks like a great town!"
Luffy, sitting on the ram's head, grinned and said, "Looks like a resort."
Usopp glanced ahead, stroking his chin, and said, "Am I just imagining things? I have a feeling that all the ships docked in the harbor are pirate ships."
Nami patted him on the shoulder and said, " Usopp, are you out of your mind? Where do pirate ships openly dock in a port?"
"Ah, hahaha, you're right."
Usopp recalled Retsu Unohana's words and once again entered a state of escapism.
"Murder!"
Sounds drifted from the town, Nami, Usopp, Chopper, tears streaming down their faces, exclaimed, "What kind of town is this?"
On the West Blue of Jaya, there is a small town called Mock Town.
This place is home to depraved outlaws, a lawless zone beyond the reach of the government, a town where people fight, laugh, and shout.
Violence is rampant here.
In the town's bar, Bellamy is playing poker with another pirate who has a bounty of 42 million Belly.
But Bellamy lost.
However, Bellamy, relying on his strength, pierced the pirate's hand, refused to give him money, and even claimed that the pirate had cheated.
The other party was unwilling, but under the overwhelming power, they had no choice but to bear the stigma of cheating.
Few residents dared to defy Bellamy, because Bellamy bounty was the highest in town.
Chaos and violence occur constantly in this town.
After the ship docked at the port, Luffy and Zoro disembarked immediately.
They were very interested in this town.
"It seems like there's all sorts of people here!" Luffy laughed, adjusting his hat.
"It looks like a pleasant little town."
Zoro also said with a smile.
"Lie, let's go for a walk."
Shiraishi invited Retsu Unohana to meet the Blackbeard Pirates and, while they were at it, to do some sightseeing and have a date.
"Okay." Retsu Unohana left with him.
Nami hid behind the ship's railing. Shiraishi and Retsu Unohana were not a concern; they didn't seem like the type to cause trouble.
However, Luffy and Zoro are the kind of people who feel uncomfortable if they don't fight or cause trouble, especially since this town is a lawless area, and they're bound to cause trouble.
We can't just let them go on their own.
"Wait! Luffy! Zoro!"
Thinking this, Nami felt obligated to stop them from causing trouble, so she jumped off the ship and chased after them, shouting, "I'm going there with you!"
"What? Nami went with them? Then I want to go too!"
When Sanji saw Nami disembark, he immediately wanted to follow her and act as her protector. Usopp and Chopper quickly grabbed his legs, tears streaming down their faces.
"You can't go. If you leave, then... then what if our ship is attacked?"
Usopp and Chopper were unwilling to let go of his leg.
Sanji, looking utterly speechless, said, "Ah, I know, I know, I'm not going. Let me go, your snot is dripping all over my pants."
"Hey, thank goodness for Robin -chan."
Sanji then tried to serve another female companion, only to find that she left the ship without saying a word.
"Ah." He wanted to leave again.
Usopp and Chopper watched with teary eyes.
"Damn it, why do I have to accompany you guys?"
Sanji kept arguing, but he still couldn't bring himself to abandon the two of them and leave the ship.
They're partners, after all.
