History

Thor was raised as Odin's eldest son and designated successor, aspiring to become a wise and powerful king like his father. Before his exile, he relied on strength and combat to solve problems, reflecting Asgard's martial ideals. 167 294

Stripped of his divine power and unable to lift Mjolnir during his time in New Mexico, Thor experienced mortality and helplessness for the first time. He chose to evacuate civilians rather than pursue glory, and Odin eventually restored his divine power after Thor faced the Destroyer. 166 171 Thor returned to Asgard, confronted Loki's attempt to destroy Jotunheim, and destroyed the Bifrost to stop the plan. 172 259

Seeking to prevent Ragnarok, Thor defeated Surtur in Muspelheim and returned to find Odin dead and Hela claiming Asgard.
