Su Chen subjected Lin Fan to relentless pursuit on the Emperor's Road while protecting him from overwhelming enemies and helping him become a Great Emperor. After Lin Fan fought the ancestors waiting outside, Su Chen intervened against an ambush and forced everyone present to kneel.
Su Chen left Ye Lingxi to pursue strength on her own, then became entangled with Qin Zixuan and White Jade City after killing her fiancé and other challengers. The Lingxiao Holy Land and Evil Sect attacked the city, Qin Zixuan vanished with a mysterious old woman, and Su Chen saved Qin Yao as the battle continued.
Su Chen rescued Qin Shi’s family, brought Lin Fan through the Shen Clan’s downfall, and guided him into the Blood Moon Immortal Venerable’s inheritance. After Lin Fan absorbed dragon blood and advanced, Su Chen and Lin Fan encountered Yifeng threatening Jiang Xin and Xiao Lan, and Lin Fan fought back with a sword move he had learned from Su Chen.
Su Chen led Lin Fan and the others through a deserted city, where Jianxin became his second disciple and Lin Fan and Jianxin received the Blood Moon Immortal Venerable’s inheritance. Outside the secret realm, Lin Fan faced Elder Bai and Wang Hui alone until Jianxin defied Su Chen’s orders to rescue him.
Su Chen saved Lin Fan and Jianxin from Xia Jiuyou, then sent Jianxin to the Sword Sect while Lin Fan sought a path to grow stronger. As Ye Lingxi advanced in the Lower Immortal Realm, Su Chen claimed a divine dagger for her and killed the Wu Clan forces who attacked her, prompting Wu Yuanzhou to head toward the Lower Immortal Realm.
Su Chen and his disciples faced challenges across the Lower and Upper Immortal Realms, while Lin Fan lost Liu Mengli and was saved by Su Chen. Su Chen’s connection to the Mystic Hall was revealed, and its forces attacked the Star Palace and Purple Lightning Sect before the Star Immortal Emperor intervened.
Su Chen reunited with his father, revived Liu Mengli, and guided Luo Xue through the Sword Sect’s deadly assessment while revealing his strength to protect Jianxin and Wang Teng. He became a Sword Sect elder, but Cao Zhihong’s attack on the sect began a major battle.

Su Chen helped Zhou Qian'er reject the Sacred Hall inheritance, then returned to find the Sword Sect under attack and erased the attackers’ threat. He revived the dead, forced two Immortal Emperors into serving as gatekeepers, and healed Jianxin and Xue Ying.
Su Chen dealt with the Nine Yang Divine Sect and the Spirit Moon Immortal Dynasty, then guided Jianxin’s sword training and prepared him for a coming calamity. After Xue Mo reconciled with Xue Ying and Zhou Qian’er chose to pursue an inheritance, Su Chen left the Sword Sect in the care of Cangyan and Fenxing.
Zhou Qian’er revealed Su Chen’s power to Immortal Emperor Yushuang, who sought his help to revive Miaoyin. After rescuing Jianxin from the Barbarian Clan and setting him a harsh trial, Su Chen revived Miaoyin and left the Sacred Hall with Zhou Qian’er.
Su Chen fled his family's marriage plans, saved Lin Fan during his pursuit of the Purple Lightning Nether Flame, and forced the Devil Race to delay its invasion for ten years. Qin An discovered she was pregnant, while Ye Lingxi and Hu Xiaotian faced Mo Qianqiu in a battle that remained unresolved.
Su Chen rescued Ye Lingxi and Hu Xiaotian, destroyed the Heaven-Burning Holy Land, and reunited with his parents at the Mystic Hall. As he prepared to travel to the Demon Domain, Ye Ningshuang arrived to end their engagement but changed her mind after meeting him, leaving their relationship unresolved.
Su Chen led his companions through the Demon Domain, where they subdued Bi Yao and reached Illusion City after learning of its hostility toward outsiders. After a violent clash with the city’s guards, Su Chen entered the city, then faced new conflict when Jiang Mingxuan challenged him at an inn.
Su Chen destroyed the Jiang Household forces, killed Feng Xuan and his allies, and restored Xiao Ziyan by retrieving her lost souls from the Nine Nether. As Su Chen left with Ye Lingxi and Yan Qingwu, Feng Cangwu and Feng Yan sought an alliance with Ao Wei to attack Illusion City.
The Dragon Clan and Fire Phoenix Clan joined forces to destroy Illusion City, but Su Chen arrived and overwhelmed their leaders. He killed Feng Yan and left the surviving invaders trembling before him.
