When Ziyun had told him the Uzumaki Clan might join the Hidden Cloud Village and asked him to make preparations for today, Dodai had found it a little hard to believe at first.
But since it was Ziyun who had said it, he had dispatched three ships to the Land of Whirlpools as planned.
He hadn't expected them to actually bring the Uzumaki Clan back.
"Of course. There are no permanent allies, only permanent interests. Konoha wanted to wipe out the Uzumaki Clan for its own interests, so why couldn't the Uzumaki Clan betray Konoha?"

Ziyun had just destroyed Konoha and saved his father, and now he had brought the Uzumaki Clan into the Hidden Cloud Village. His younger cousin had left him so far behind that he couldn't even catch his exhaust.
"Can't be helped, Big Brother A. I'm a genius, after all," Ziyun said smugly.
"Hmph..."
A was a little annoyed, but he couldn't argue.
The kid's talent really was enviable.
"By the way, Dodai-sensei, how are the Hidden Cloud Village's shinobi getting on with those Nintaijutsu techniques? Are they having any trouble adapting?"
Ziyun asked Dodai.
"Ziyun, I was just about to tell you! Those Nintaijutsu techniques you improved are excellent and perfectly suited to the Hidden Cloud Village's shinobi. Everyone at Chunin rank and above is practicing as hard as they can, and nobody's having any trouble."
Dodai was excited again.
Learning these three Ninjutsu techniques that required no hand seals would give the Hidden Cloud Village's combat strength an enormous boost.
At the very least, Chunin who learned these three techniques would have an overwhelming advantage against Chunin from other shinobi villages.
After all, Tekkai, Shave, and Finger Pistol combined defense, mobility, and speed, greatly reducing the risks posed by shinobi having strong attacks but weak defenses.

Things turned out just as Ziyun had expected. When the Konoha High Command learned that the Uzumaki Clan had joined the Hidden Cloud Village, they went completely mad!
In the Konoha office, the entire Konoha F4 had gathered for a meeting at the highest level.
"We have to eliminate Yeyue Ziyun! We can't let that man live any longer! Declare war on the Hidden Cloud!"
Danzo was furious. The Uzumaki Clan's Sealing Jutsu was one of the few types of Ninjutsu capable of suppressing Ziyun, and now that the Hidden Cloud Village had taken them in, Konoha was at a severe disadvantage.
Fortunately, Konoha still had the dozen or so clan members the Uzumaki Clan had sent over, all of whom were skilled in Sealing Jutsu. That meant they still had a way to deal with Yeyue Ziyun.
"Exactly. And we've been heavily infiltrated. How else could Yeyue Ziyun have known in advance that Konoha was going to wipe out the Uzumaki Clan?"
The two Hokage Advisors, Mitokado Homura and Koharu Utatane, couldn't figure it out.
"It means there's already a spy in Konoha, and the spy's rank isn't low!" Hiruzen Sarutobi said gravely, a vicious glint in his eyes. "But now isn't the time to hunt for spies. Yeyue Ziyun is too troublesome. Until we eliminate him, Konoha will never know peace! Let's declare war on the Hidden Cloud Village!"
Hiruzen Sarutobi was deeply uneasy. He had noticed that Ziyun managed to get ahead of him every time he acted. It had happened when he tried to kill Uchiha Mikoto, and again when he tried to wipe out the Uzumaki Clan.
As long as Yeyue Ziyun remained alive, he wouldn't be able to sleep soundly.
After leading the Uzumaki Clan back to the village, Ziyun first took Zō Uzumaki to see the Third Raikage.
The Uzumaki Clan was a major clan, with nearly three hundred members, and they needed a large plot of land to establish a clan compound.
"Ziyun, I heard about the Uzumaki Clan. You've rendered the Hidden Cloud Village another great service."
After resting for the past few days, the Third Raikage had recovered his strength and was full of life again.
Ever since Ziyun graduated, he had brought him so many pleasant surprises that he could barely take them all in.
"I've decided where to put the Uzumaki Clan's compound. It'll go right next to the Yeyue Clan's."
The Third Raikage was generous. With a wave of his hand, he gave the Uzumaki Clan a large plot of land near the center of the Hidden Cloud Village.
After all, the Hidden Cloud Village had only a few clans, and the only one that could be considered a major clan was the Yeyue Clan, which had produced every Raikage.
The other clans had only a few dozen members at most and couldn't use much land.
With the Uzumaki Clan's arrival, they would be the Hidden Cloud Village's second-largest clan, so they naturally deserved a plot of land second only to the Yeyue Clan's.
"Thank you, Lord Raikage." Delighted, Zō Uzumaki dropped to one knee to express his gratitude.
It seemed he had made the right choice in joining the Hidden Cloud Village. If they had gone to Konoha, where there were already too many major clans to count, how could the Uzumaki Clan have received such treatment?
"By the way, Lord Raikage, to show our Uzumaki Clan's loyalty as we join the Hidden Cloud Village, I would like to offer you our clan's secret sealing techniques."
Zō Uzumaki then presented the gift he had prepared.
On the way from the Land of Whirlpools to the Land of Lightning, Zō Uzumaki had already decided to hand over the Uzumaki Clan's Sealing Jutsu.
After all, the Uzumaki Clan was joining an entirely new shinobi village. It was fine to come empty-handed, but they had to show their loyalty.

Overjoyed, the Third Raikage waved his hand and allocated another billion ryō to help the Uzumaki Clan settle in the Hidden Cloud Village.
"The Uzumaki Clan Head really is a clever man." Ziyun smiled too. He hadn't expected the clan head to hand over the secret sealing techniques of his own accord.
"Hahaha, please don't say that, Lord Ziyun. It was thanks to your help this time."
"Otherwise, these secret techniques would still have fallen into someone else's hands, and the more than three hundred members of my Uzumaki Clan would be no more."
Zō Uzumaki took the matter in stride.
It was a realization Zō Uzumaki had come to after the night his clan was nearly wiped out.
If all the Uzumaki Clan Members died, there would be no point in the Uzumaki Clan guarding these secret sealing techniques to the bitter end.
"Ziyun, I'm giving these secret sealing techniques to you. If I remember correctly, Sealing Jutsu is what your Thunder God Technique fears most."
The Third Raikage then tossed the Uzumaki Clan's sealing scroll to Ziyun.
Ziyun didn't refuse and accepted it.
As the Third Raikage had said, Sealing Jutsu was one of the few types of Ninjutsu that could hurt him, so of course Ziyun had to learn it.
He had to do more than learn it. He had to master it, so he could deal with Sealing Jutsu better when he encountered it.
If he remembered correctly, Hiruzen Sarutobi knew the Reaper Death Seal, a forbidden sealing technique that took one life in exchange for another.
Zō Uzumaki had no objection. Ziyun was a great benefactor to the Uzumaki Clan. No one in the clan had died this time, and only a dozen or so had been injured. Ziyun had been a tremendous help.
