Roy left the Boin Archipelago, gathered Tesoro, Stella, and Savi, and drew the attention of the Marines after attacking a Celestial Dragon’s auction and fighting Sengoku and Kizaru. On the Endless War Country, Roy trained his companions and Bullet as the island’s military prepared an offensive, leaving Bullet’s next decision uncertain.
Roy recruited Bullet and Mihawk, stole the White Tiger Fruit, and led his crew through years of training before founding the Roy Pirates. After clashing with Doflamingo in Mock Town, Roy set course for Sky Island to find the Rumble-Rumble Fruit for Tesoro.
Roy gathered gold and Adam Wood to build the Ark Maxim, then fought the Marines at Sabaody Archipelago and unleashed tsunamis to escape. The destruction brought huge new bounties and drew the attention of pirates across the seas.
Roy’s crew escaped the Marines’ pursuit, completed the Ark Maxim, and crossed Fish-Man Island into the New World. After Charon joined the crew, they reached the New World and prepared to choose their next island.
Roy’s crew battled Golden Lion Shiki, gathered new allies and research in Crystal Island, then challenged Roger and Whitebeard before setting course for Wano. The arc ended with the Ark Maxim reaching Wano’s waterfall as Roy planned to establish a base and cooperate with Kaido.
Roy formed an alliance with Kaido, established a research base, and stole equipment and scientists from Punk Hazard. After months of training and genetic research, Roy proposed using clones to fuse several bloodlines, then returned to Raijin Island with Moria while the project began in Wano.
Roy strengthened his crew and protected the research base while manipulating events around Kozuki Oden and Wano Country. After learning that Roger had reached Laugh Tale, Roy took the crew abroad to recruit promising fighters, bringing Kyros and Scarlet aboard before sailing toward Alabasta.
Roy dismantled Doflamingo’s Dressrosa network, rescued Master Tom from Enies Lobby, and recruited Crocodile and Kuma after demonstrating the strength and ambitions of his crew. The arc left Roy and Kuma preparing to change Sorbet Kingdom while the World Government intensified its attention on the Roy Pirates.
Roy helped reform the Sorbet Kingdom, witnessed Roger’s execution, and broke Golden Lion Shiki and other prisoners out of Impel Down. He protected Roger’s family and forged alliances as the Roy Pirates prepared to claim territory in the New World.
Roy conquered Hachinosu, built it into a fortified base, and moved Dr. Gracia’s research operation there while the New World’s powers reacted to his growing influence. When Dragon asked him to intervene in the Buster Call on Ohara, Roy rescued Robin, Olvia, Saul, and a group of scholars, but the bombardment began as they fled.
After saving the Ohara survivors, Roy fortified Hachinosu against a pirate coalition and expanded the Roy Pirates’ influence. As the crew developed its powers and infrastructure, Roy began bloodline transplants with Kaido, King, and Queen, awakening from his own procedure with greater strength.
Roy assembled powerful allies to join Fisher Tiger’s mission to free the slaves at Mary Geoise, while his crew raided Celestial Dragon treasuries. The slaves escaped, but Roy stayed behind to fight the Marines as his companions battled the Admirals, with the clashes still underway.
After the raid on Mary Geoise, Roy fortified Hachinosu and prepared for the World Government’s retaliation. He went to Wano to help Kaido against Orochi and CP0, while negotiations with Oden failed and the fight for the Seastone mine began.
Roy captured Orochi and helped Kaido defeat Kozuki Oden, then secured Wano’s Seastone and returned to Hachinosu with Kozuki Toki. The World Government suspended its campaign against the Roy Pirates, while Roy prepared to strengthen his forces and investigate Blackbeard.
Roy brought Patrick Redfield into the Roy Pirates, secured a partnership with Doflamingo, and awakened his Telekinesis Fruit after a three-day battle with Garp. He then set out to recruit Lafitte and convinced him to join the crew.
Roy recruited Van Augur and Jesus Burgess, secured Fish-Man Island under Hachinosu’s protection, and returned home to explain Devil Fruit Awakening. His search for a lanternfish Sea King drew the attention of several major powers and the Marines, who suspected it was connected to Pure Gold.
Roy drew rival pirates, the Navy, the Holy Knights, and the Underworld into a struggle over Pure Gold while secretly reaching the lanternfish and retrieving it. The fighting spread across Golden Lion Shiki’s floating islands, with Doflamingo revealed as Roy’s ally and the Underworld kings waiting for their chance to intervene.
Roy survived the battle for Pure Gold, then used Hachinosu’s growing strength to expand his territory and organize his forces. After preparing the island for his absence and upgrading the Ark Maxim, he led a party toward the moon.
Roy uncovered the Moon People’s lunar ruins and the truth about the Lunarians before returning to Hachinosu as the Reverie rejected Fish-Man Island’s bid to join the World Government. He pursued the Op-Op Fruit to Minion Island, where Rosinante gave it to Law and died, leaving Roy caught between Doflamingo and Kizaru as the island’s battle continued.
Roy recruited Law, treated his Amber Lead Disease, and continued strengthening his crew as they traveled toward Sabaody. There, Roy reunited with allies and agreed to rescue enslaved women and a mermaid, while securing an alliance with Amazon Lily through Hancock.
