Ch. 21Seeing Tesoro Again

Lin Yuan brought Stella, Erza, and Emile toward Tesoro, gave the sisters Devil Fruits, and helped them develop their abilities during the journey. They found Tesoro waiting alone on his boat, convinced Lin Yuan and Stella were lost, just as Stella called out to him.

  • Lin Yuan reassured Stella, Erza, and Emile as he flew them toward Tesoro, whom Stella feared might be hurt.
  • During the three-day journey, Stella practiced her Swift-Swift Fruit abilities while Lin Yuan gave Erza the Smooth-Smooth Fruit and Emile the Bubble-Bubble Fruit.
  • Erza and Emile ate their Devil Fruits, transformed, and began discussing how to care for their skin, while Lin Yuan offered advice on developing their powers.
  • Lin Yuan and the women spotted Tesoro's boat after several days of flight.
  • Tesoro, who had gone two days without food, water, or sleep, despaired and imagined becoming a cloud with Stella.
  • Stella called out to Tesoro and told him to get up and receive his guests.

Ch. 22Celestial Dragons? Kill Enough of Them and You'll Get Used to It

Lin Yuan reunited Tesoro and Stella, then accepted Tesoro as a trusted brother and planned to train him while waiting for the Gold-Gold Fruit. He told the crew that killing Celestial Dragons could help overcome fear, leaving Erza and Emile admiring him and Lin Yuan looking toward people and a fruit in the sky.

  • Lin Yuan scolded Tesoro for nearly starving himself to death while Stella cared for him, then kicked him into the cabin to make him fetch her.
  • Tesoro and Stella came to Lin Yuan, and Tesoro vowed to stand by him; Lin Yuan accepted him as a brother before Tesoro got snot on his pants.
  • Lin Yuan told Tesoro that Erza and Emile had each killed a Celestial Dragon and claimed that killing enough of them would make anyone get used to it.
  • Tesoro asked about awakening Conqueror's Haki, and Lin Yuan told him to train in Armament Haki until he could obtain a suitable Devil Fruit.
  • Lin Yuan decided the Gold-Gold Fruit suited Tesoro and looked ten thousand meters into the sky toward people and a fruit he wanted.

Ch. 23Marine Officers' Meeting, Kuzan's Suspicion

Marine Headquarters gathered to discuss the Mary Geoise slave revolt, and Borsalino described the masked fighter who had injured him and helped captives escape. Kuzan suspected the fire-breathing, ice-freezing fighter might be someone he knew, but he concealed his doubts.

  • Sengoku convened the senior Marines after the Five Elders assigned them responsibility for the Mary Geoise incident.
  • Borsalino told the officers that a masked man with Conqueror's Haki had defeated the guards and fought him.
  • Borsalino said the man used red flames and a mind-shaking roar, then escaped by freezing the sea current.
  • Kuzan abruptly questioned Borsalino about the man's fire and appearance, then claimed he had mistaken him for someone else.
  • Kuzan sat down and involuntarily reached for the Mandala at his waist.

Ch. 24Lin Yuan's Bounty, Codename: Masked Man

The Navy decided to blame Fisher Tiger for the Mary Geoise uprising and issue a separate bounty for the unknown swordsman who injured Borsalino. Aboard the boat to Cocoyasi Village, Lin Yuan learned that his bounty named him “Masked Man” and erupted in Conqueror’s Haki, knocking Tesoro unconscious.

  • Sengoku and Tsuru agreed to make Fisher Tiger the uprising’s mastermind in the public account and issue bounties focused on the fugitives’ strength.
  • Lin Yuan trained Tesoro, Stella, Erza, and Emile as they sailed toward Cocoyasi Village.
  • Lin Yuan bought a newspaper from a News Coo and read the report blaming Fisher Tiger for the uprising.
  • Lin Yuan saw his “Masked Man” wanted poster and a bounty of 580 million, then released Conqueror’s Haki in anger.
  • Stella pulled Tesoro clear of his training trunk and splashed seawater on him to wake him after Lin Yuan’s Haki knocked him out.

Ch. 25Robin Again

Lin Yuan returned to Cocoyasi Village with Tesoro, Stella, Erza, and Emile after deciding to let the World Government’s wanted poster go. He reunited with Robin and introduced his companions, then asked Genzo to come with him to discuss something.

  • Tesoro told Lin Yuan that the wanted poster had not exposed his identity, and Lin Yuan reluctantly decided to let the matter go.
  • Lin Yuan told Tesoro and the others to stay in Cocoyasi Village and keep their identities secret while they trained.
  • Lin Yuan refused to give Tesoro either of his Zoan Devil Fruits, saying the Gold-Gold Fruit suited him better and that he had information about it.
  • Lin Yuan arrived at Cocoyasi Village and reunited with Robin, who had been worried after not hearing from him for more than twenty days.
  • Lin Yuan introduced Tesoro, Stella, Erza, and Emile to Robin, then asked Genzo to come with him for a discussion.

Ch. 26Three Years of Arduous Training

Lin Yuan settled Tesoro and his companions in Cocoyasi Village, gave Devil Fruits to Genzo and Bellemere, and spent three years training until he became a great swordsman with strength he judged comparable to an Admiral. He stood ready to pursue the peak of the world, unleashing his Conqueror's Haki over the sea.

  • Lin Yuan introduced Tesoro and his companions to Olvia and Bellemere, then persuaded Genzo and Bellemere to eat Devil Fruits so they could protect the village.
  • Lin Yuan arranged homes for Tesoro and Stella and for Erza and Emile, and Tesoro and Stella held a small wedding with Lin Yuan as their witness.
  • Lin Yuan spent three years training on uninhabited islands, improving his Haki, physique, Devil Fruit abilities, and swordsmanship.
  • Lin Yuan broke through to the great swordsman realm and judged his overall strength to be comparable to an Admiral's.
  • Lin Yuan vowed to reach the pinnacle of the world and released his Conqueror's Haki, raising towering waves and filling the sky with purple lightning.

Ch. 27Boss, How About You Compete for an Emperor's Seat Too?

Lin Yuan discussed Tesoro’s Haki training and the problems facing the village’s growing business, including limited production, weak protection, and declining Beli purchasing power. After Lin Yuan explained how Garp kept the East Blue’s strongest pirates in check, Tesoro suggested that Lin Yuan fight for a seat as an Emperor.

  • Tesoro told Lin Yuan that he had reached intermediate levels in Armament Haki and Observation Haki and asked about the promised Gold-Gold Fruit.
  • Tesoro described the commercial department’s production, security, and expansion problems, while Lin Yuan explained that the East Blue’s reputation for weakness came from Garp’s regular crackdowns.
  • Lin Yuan revealed that his strength was comparable to an Admiral’s but admitted he would not be confident against Garp.
  • Tesoro pointed out that Beli’s purchasing power was gradually declining, and Lin Yuan praised his business insight.
  • Tesoro suggested that Lin Yuan compete for a seat as an Emperor, and the others watched Lin Yuan expectantly.

Ch. 28Destination: Sky Island

Lin Yuan left his village to visit Sky Island, where he planned to find gold and recruit Enel before he ate the Rumble-Rumble Fruit. After reaching God's Land, he knocked out its guards and summoned Gan Fall, who arrived ready to defend his authority.

  • Lin Yuan told Tesoro and the others to stay in the village and protect it while he was away for up to a month.
  • Lin Yuan left on his Flame Clouds, reached Jaya Island, and flew upward to Sky Island without waiting for a Knock Up Stream.
  • Lin Yuan ignored the guards' demands, asked for directions to Birka or for Gan Fall, and knocked the guards unconscious with his aura.
  • Lin Yuan shattered the Sea Clouds and called for the god of Sky Island to come out and face him.
  • Gan Fall arrived with his ministers and mount, prepared to deal with Lin Yuan, while Lin Yuan greeted him as the god of the land.

Ch. 29Submission or death

Lin Yuan arrived on Sky Island and confronted Gan Fall, easily incapacitating the guards with his Conqueror’s Haki. After deciding Sky Island would make a useful base, he demanded that Gan Fall submit or die, and Gan Fall led the warriors in a charge.

  • Gan Fall identified himself as Sky Island’s god after Lin Yuan wounded a man who challenged him.
  • Gan Fall ordered the guards to attack Lin Yuan, who knocked them and the ministers unconscious with his Conqueror’s Haki.
  • Gan Fall offered to help Lin Yuan, but Lin Yuan decided to take Sky Island as his base.
  • Lin Yuan gave Gan Fall a choice between submission and death.
  • Gan Fall refused to surrender and charged Lin Yuan with the other warriors.

Ch. 30The Shandia Attack, Taking Control of Sky Island

Lin Yuan forced Gan Fall to submit and then set out to end the conflict between Sky Island’s natives and the Shandia People. He incapacitated nearly all the fighters with Conqueror’s Haki, leaving Saga and a handful of others kneeling on the battlefield.

  • Lin Yuan defeated Gan Fall and the guard captains, and Gan Fall agreed to submit rather than risk the people of Sky Island being killed.
  • Lin Yuan ordered Gan Fall to summon a Shandia representative and took over Gan Fall’s palace while waiting.
  • A guard reported that Saga and the Shandia People had attacked, so Lin Yuan went with Gan Fall to the battlefield.
  • Lin Yuan unleashed Conqueror’s Haki, knocking out nearly all the warriors from both sides and forcing the few still conscious to their knees.
  • Saga, the Shandia leader, watched in despair as Lin Yuan considered how to use Conqueror’s Haki Coating.

Ch. 31Heading to Birka, Enel!

Lin Yuan brought Gan Fall and Saga to an agreement to share Upper Yard peacefully, then traveled to Birka to find Enel. He offered Enel a chance to follow him and grant a wish, leaving Enel to consider what he wanted.

  • Lin Yuan told Gan Fall and Saga that their peoples would share Upper Yard and warned them to prevent their followers from fighting.
  • Gan Fall and Saga agreed to the arrangement, and Lin Yuan left them to gather their people and manage the peace.
  • Lin Yuan transformed into a dragon god and flew to Birka, where Gan Fall and Saga announced the agreement and stripped opposing ministers of their authority.
  • Lin Yuan searched Birka with Observation Haki and found Enel foraging in the forest.
  • Lin Yuan introduced himself to Enel, offered to show him the Blue Sea world, and invited him to follow in exchange for granting a wish.
  • Enel asked Lin Yuan whether he could help him get something, and Lin Yuan agreed if Enel joined him.

Ch. 32The Altar, the Rumble-Rumble Fruit!

Lin Yuan agreed to help Enel obtain the sacred objects at an altar, where he found and took the Rumble-Rumble Fruit and another unknown fruit. He offered the Rumble-Rumble Fruit to Enel in exchange for Enel following him, and Enel agreed.

  • Lin Yuan asked Enel what he wanted from the altar, and Enel explained that he sought its sacred objects, which he believed could grant wishes and make someone a god.
  • Lin Yuan agreed to help Enel but warned him against betraying him, then followed Enel to the sacred place.
  • Lin Yuan entered the altar unseen, took the Rumble-Rumble Fruit and a silver-patterned fruit, and returned to Enel.
  • Lin Yuan carried the frightened Enel through the air on Flame Clouds and later offered him the Rumble-Rumble Fruit on the condition that he follow Lin Yuan.
  • Enel looked at the fruit and agreed to follow Lin Yuan.

Ch. 33Lin Yuan: Enel, Kid, Has This Gone to Your Head?

Lin Yuan gave Enel the Rumble-Rumble Fruit, and Enel gained the power to control lightning. Enel challenged Lin Yuan to prove his strength, but Lin Yuan beat him down; Enel then prepared to unleash a powerful attack.

  • Lin Yuan gave Enel the Rumble-Rumble Fruit and told him to eat all of it.
  • Enel ate the fruit, gained lightning powers, and declared himself the thunder god, so Lin Yuan slapped him.
  • Enel questioned whether he still needed to follow Lin Yuan and challenged him to a fight.
  • Enel turned into lightning and attacked Lin Yuan, but Lin Yuan used Observation Haki to strike him and send him crashing through Sea Cloud trees.
  • Enel refused to give up and challenged Lin Yuan again, announcing his Thirty Million Volts: Thunderbird attack.

Ch. 34Enel Joins

Enel ate the Rumble-Rumble Fruit but exhausted himself trying to attack Lin Yuan, who then explained that strength required training and Haki as well as a Devil Fruit. Enel agreed to follow Lin Yuan and grow stronger, though he vowed to challenge him again.

  • Enel unleashed a lightning attack at Lin Yuan, missed, and collapsed from exhaustion.
  • Lin Yuan mocked the unconscious Enel, carried him to the Flame Clouds, and waited for him to wake.
  • After Enel recovered, Lin Yuan explained that a Devil Fruit could not make someone strong without a capable body and introduced the Three Types of Haki.
  • Lin Yuan told Enel that he had already awakened Observation Haki and offered to train him into one of the strongest fighters on the seas.
  • Enel accepted Lin Yuan's offer but promised to challenge him again once he had grown stronger.

Ch. 35Divine ability, One Eye Covers the Heavens

Lin Yuan accepted Enel’s challenge and offered to train his Haki, then revealed his Zhu Jiuyin form to show Enel the vast gap between them. After Lin Yuan plunged Enel into a lightless void, Enel collapsed in terror, leaving him completely shaken by Lin Yuan’s power.

  • Lin Yuan told Enel that a Devil Fruit alone would not make him a top-tier fighter and offered to help him train Armament and Observation Haki.
  • Enel demanded to see Lin Yuan’s true strength, insisting that he would not be discouraged.
  • Lin Yuan transformed into the enormous crimson dragon god Zhu Jiuyin and told Enel he was not yet in his final form.
  • Lin Yuan closed his eyes, plunging Enel into a silent, sensationless darkness that swallowed all light and left him unable to call for help.
  • When the world returned to normal, Enel collapsed in cold sweat and tears, terrified of Lin Yuan.

Ch. 36Shandora, the City of Gold!

Lin Yuan defeated Enel with a stamina-draining ability, then convinced him to train and follow him. They flew to Shandora, the City of Gold, where Enel eagerly admired the ruins and Lin Yuan claimed the gold for his plans; a hissing sound interrupted them.

  • Lin Yuan used his new ability to control Enel and overwhelm his senses, then explained that it had consumed most of his stamina.
  • Enel asked about Lin Yuan’s strength and the Blue Sea, and Lin Yuan encouraged him to rebuild his physique, train, and develop his Devil Fruit.
  • Enel stuffed himself with roast meat as Lin Yuan recovered his stamina and considered training his Haki and other abilities.
  • Lin Yuan took Enel toward Shandora and told him that Gan Fall and Saga were under his command, barring Enel from harming the Skypieans or Shandia People.
  • Lin Yuan and Enel reached Shandora, where Enel marveled at the gold and Lin Yuan said he had a use for most of it.
  • A hissing sound suddenly rang out as Lin Yuan and Enel admired the City of Gold.

Ch. 37The Giant Serpent, Lord of Shandora!

Lin Yuan found the City of Gold and sent Enel down to explore while he watched the giant serpent known as the Lord of Shandora. The serpent attacked Enel, and their fight began as Lin Yuan observed from above.

  • Lin Yuan spotted the City of Gold and guessed that the Golden Bell and Poneglyph were in the giant tree, but he focused on a dark shape nearby instead.
  • Lin Yuan hid his aura, and the Lord of Shandora emerged and crept toward Enel as he searched through the gold.
  • The Lord of Shandora lunged at Enel, but Enel turned into lightning and dodged its bite just in time.
  • Enel struck the serpent with his 1 Million Volt: Discharge, but the attack only made it stiffen briefly and enraged it.
  • Lin Yuan watched from his Flame Clouds as Enel realized that his attack had barely affected the giant serpent.

Ch. 38Enel vs. the Lord of Shandora!

Enel fought the Lord of Shandora, first blasting it with lightning and then shocking it at close range until his stamina ran low. After Enel pierced its eye with a makeshift golden spear, the wounded beast launched a dying counterattack, and Lin Yuan appeared to protect the helpless Enel.

  • Enel struck the Lord of Shandora with a massive Thunder Ball, but the blast only wounded the giant snake and damaged Shandora’s gold.
  • Enel clung to the Lord of Shandora’s broken scale and repeatedly shocked it until the beast was badly burned and Enel ran out of stamina.
  • Lin Yuan told Enel to use the surrounding gold as a weapon, and Enel forged a heavy spear from a golden pillar.
  • Enel hurled the spear through the Lord of Shandora’s eye, but the enraged snake struck him with its tail and sent him flying.
  • As the Lord of Shandora charged at the injured Enel, Lin Yuan appeared in front of him and reached for his sword.

Ch. 39The Golden Bell Rings!

Lin Yuan killed the Lord of Shandora, rang the Golden Bell, and took it with its Poneglyph base. He planned to return to the Blue Sea with Enel after checking on Upper Yard, while making Enel train by smelting Shandora’s gold.

  • Lin Yuan split the Lord of Shandora in two with a single sword slash, then left the injured Enel to rest while he climbed the giant tree.
  • Lin Yuan found the Golden Bell and rang it nine times, prompting Saga and the Shandia People to kneel and give thanks.
  • Lin Yuan took the Golden Bell and its Poneglyph base on Flame Clouds, intending to give the Poneglyph to Robin and Olvia.
  • Lin Yuan told Enel he planned to return to the Blue Sea and advised him to learn Haki and train his body.
  • Lin Yuan ordered Enel to gather and smelt Shandora’s gold into cubes, then began roasting the Lord of Shandora’s meat.

Ch. 40A Vast Fortune in Gold, Building the Ark Maxim

Lin Yuan collected Shandora’s gold with Enel and learned that Enel knew how to build a flying ship, prompting him to plan a trip to Water 7 for help with the design. After establishing Peace Day and joint rule on Sky Island, Lin Yuan departed for the Blue Sea with Enel and ten gold blocks.

  • Lin Yuan made Enel melt down Shandora’s gold, then carried 258 gold blocks, six pillars, and thirteen bell towers to Upper Yard with Flame Clouds.
  • Lin Yuan asked Enel about building a flying ship, and Enel revealed that he had blueprints for one.
  • Lin Yuan obtained Enel’s blueprints after promising to build him his own flying ship.
  • Lin Yuan placed the Golden Bell in the palace square and declared that Sky Island would celebrate Peace Day under the joint rule of Gan Fall and Saga.
  • Lin Yuan ordered Gan Fall and Saga to keep the peace and train their people, then left for the Blue Sea with Enel and ten gold blocks.
