The next day, Smoker gathered his men and replenished supplies. After submitting his report, he left Loguetown with Tashigi, regardless of whether his superiors agreed or not.
Anyway, I'm leaving. You'd better send someone else to take over. Vic said goodbye to the two at the dock in Loguetown, but no one paid attention to him; they were all blocked by his illusion.
Only when Smoker's warship was no longer in sight did Vic vanish from the dock like Inazuma. His arrival in this world changed many things, causing numerous changes. Some things, without continued intervention, have returned to normal, as if driven by the will of the world!
However, some things, once changed, cannot be undone. Vic must ensure the general course of history is maintained, and at the very least, Luffy's expected battles cannot be omitted.
In the original work, his growth was already very fast. Vic couldn't think of a faster way to become stronger. Two years was equivalent to the efforts of the other Four Emperors or Marine Admiral for twenty or thirty years. The time was shortened by more than ten times!
Vic knew the direction of his training in advance and had a faster training method, but it still took him many years to reach the level of Four Emperors. It can't be said that Vic's talent was lacking, nor can it be said that Luffy's talent was abnormal.
Vic is several years younger than Shanks, but Shanks can't last more than a few moves against Vic now. Of course, Vic has had many opportunities, which have helped him a lot. In terms of talent, Vic can't compare to Shanks, but he's not far behind; they're definitely in the same league.
Shanks' talent in the One Piece world is definitely top-tier, and no matter how strong Luffy's talent is, it's impossible for him to surpass Shanks by even one level!
It can only be said that Luffy's protagonist aura is too strong, and his path of growth is probably the most suitable for him, so Luffy the old path is the best! Fortunately, Luffy's enemy, Vic, hasn't been touched much, and he will still experience what he needs to experience!
Vic didn't stay with Luffy's pirate ship. He soon arrived in Alabasta and asked Robin to arrange a quiet room for him to meditate and cultivate. He told Robin not to worry about anything else and to let him do whatever he wanted.
There's no danger to Luffy's life before Luffy in Alabasta, so Vic doesn't need to be particularly concerned. The real danger lies in Alabasta!
Although Crocodile was afraid of Vic, he did not fully abide by the agreement he had made with Vic to protect Alabasta. He had been secretly searching for news of the Ancient Weapon Pluton.
Crocodile believed that once he found Pluton, he would have the power to fight against Vic, and even against the World Government. As a result, Alabasta was on the verge of collapse due to Crocodile's sabotage. The Rebel Army and the royal army were locked in a fierce battle, much like in the original story.
Vick's promise was made with Crocodile when he was still in the Navy, but now Vick is no longer a Navy member and has become one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. King Cobra and Princess Vivi cannot find Vick, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea in the New World, to fulfill their previous promise.
After all, the original agreement was made privately by Vic and Crocodile. He did not represent the World Government or the Navy. The World Government did not make such a requirement for the Shichibukai, nor did it grant them such privileges. The Shichibukai only need not to harm the Affiliated Nation. As for whether or not to protect them, that is up to them!
Therefore, if Cobra wants to punish Crocodile, he either needs to go to the New World and find Vic to kill Crocodile as agreed, or he needs to find evidence that Crocodile violated the Shichibukai contract.
So, just like in the original story, Vivi and Igaram infiltrated Baroque Works to gather evidence of Crocodile's plot to Affiliated Nation.
Then, when Vivi and a guy who called himself a prince were hunting the whale Laboon at Twin Cape, they encountered the Straw Hat Pirates, who had just entered the Grand Line and were resting at Twin Cape!
Fate is such a wonderful thing; Luffy and the princess were so drawn to each other that after sensing the people on the Going Merry, Vic immediately went to Alabasta.
While Vic meditates and Luffy in Alabasta, Luffy's story follows much the same pattern as in the original manga. After fighting the whale Laboon at Twin Cape, they set sail towards Whiskey Peak with Vivi, who is hiding her princess identity, and a guy who claims to be a prince.
This also means that Luffy and his crew chose the route that starts at Whiskey Peak from among the seven routes in the first half of the Grand Line.
The others were initially hesitant about bringing these two people of unknown origin along this route, as choosing a route is a very important matter, and a single misstep could lead to utter ruin.
However, Luffy remained quite Haki. If he wasn't satisfied with this route, he would simply choose a different one after circumnavigating the world. It was no big deal! And so the route was set, and the story returned to normal.
At Whiskey Peak, Nami and Zoro uncovered Baroque Works ' conspiracy, and Princess Vivi and Igaram's identities were also exposed. The Straw Hat Pirates and Princess Vivi were put on Baroque Works ' kill list, and high-ranking officers were already on their way!
Nami learns of Princess Vivi's identity and, swayed by Igaram's promises, decides to protect her Princess Vivi home. Vivi then officially boards the Going Merry.
Under Igaram's cover, the Straw Hat Pirates left Whiskey Peak. More precisely, Nico Robin deliberately let them go and gave Luffy an Eternal Pose that led directly to Alabasta.
But Luffy didn't appreciate it. He crushed the Eternal Pose, declaring that his own voyage was his own decision. He then glared at Robin and headed towards his next destination Little Garden.
Robin is actually indifferent to Luffy's decision. She doesn't really work for Crocodile; she just wants to use him to get the Poneglyph she desires. She just wants to speed things up a bit, but the Straw Hat Boy doesn't want to do things her way, so she'll just go back to Alabasta and wait. It'll only take a few more days.
In the small garden, Zoro, Nami, and Vivi were almost turned into wax figures by Mr. 3—the kind with real corpses inside. In the end, Usopp turned the tide, and with Luffy as their main fighter, they finally managed to defeat Galdino and his partner.
Usopp and the captain of the Giant Warrior Pirates made a promise to go to the Elbaf, Elbaf, while Sanji obtained Eternal Pose pointing to Alabasta in the jungle.
Luffy ultimately decided to go straight to Alabasta and take down the main character, following the path Robin had laid out for him. But what kind of person is Luffy? He doesn't like being told what to do; he only wants to be told what to do. That's just how willful he is.
However, things didn't go as planned. Just when Luffy was about to head straight to Alabasta, Nami, having exposed too much skin in the Little Garden, was bitten by an insect carrying an ancient virus and immediately developed a high fever that wouldn't go down!
If Vivi hadn't insisted on finding a doctor first, Nami would have really died on the ship, which led to the Drum Island trip. Because of this series of events, the Straw Hat Pirates saw Princess Vivi's gentleness, kindness, and understanding.
Vivi also saw what friendship, bonds, willpower, and true justice are from the Straw Hat Pirates. When Chopper was kidnapped from Drum Island, the relationship between Vivi and the Straw Hat Pirates was no longer a monetary employer-employee relationship; they had come to regard each other as partners!
