The next day, everyone returned to the Hokage Building. "Yesterday, the village subsidized the villagers for purchasing spirit beasts. As for the price, we can discuss that with the Beast Taming Department privately. Today, we'll mainly talk about education." Tsubasa glanced at everyone and tapped the table.
Tian Flying Swallow rolled her eyes at him and complained, " The Education Department should be under the Hokage's direct control, but our leader is so focused on cultivation that he's left everything to me. Elementary and middle schools are taught by disabled old ninjas from the village and women who stay home to take care of children, and so far, there haven't been any problems."
The advanced Ninja Academy is taught by the strongest members of various clans and armies, producing outstanding students. This year is even more remarkable; all three hundred-plus graduates met the entrance standards for Kage Level Ninja Academy! But the Kage School is under the Lord Hokage, and the site is currently still a wasteland! You have to give these Mirai elites an explanation, don't you? There are only ten days left until the originally scheduled start date, and I'm Tenten being bombarded with questions about it.
Tsubasa smiled and reassured her, "Thank you for your hard work Flying Swallow! Go and spread the word now that the Kage Academy will open on time in ten days! Admission requires passing three tests—a test of Genjutsu and willpower, and a test of political ideology. Only those who pass all three can be admitted. Once you're in the Kage Academy, you'll learn Konoha's strongest forbidden techniques! The worst graduate will be Elite Jonin, many will become Kage Level ninja, and the lucky ones might even reach the Super Kage level! Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to become my personal disciple, learn Senjutsu, and Sage!"
Upon hearing this, the eyes of every high-ranking member present lit up. Which family didn't have a few children among these graduates? If a Sage Level expert could truly emerge, their family's status would skyrocket!
"Starting tomorrow, the Scientific Research Department and the Rune Sealing Department will work with me to build Konoha's highest Ninja Academy — the Kage Academy!" Tsubasa waved his hand.
Uzumaki Ashina and Asuka Nobumoto immediately stood up to accept the order, "Yes, Lord Hokage!"
Next, they started talking about Konoha's military affairs. After a full day of meetings, the high-ranking officials finally broke up and walked out with their mission reports, discussing things enthusiastically all the way. Everyone knew that the Kage Academy was Konoha's top priority at the moment.
As the wooden door to the conference room slowly closed and the last high-ranking official's footsteps disappeared at the end of the corridor, Tsubasa slumped into the Hokage chair and let out a long breath. Dusk was deepening outside the window, and the statues of past generations on the Hokage Rock were gilded by the setting sun. In a daze, he seemed to have returned to the ninja village that resembled an ancient city when he first transmigrated six years ago.
Who could have imagined that Konoha would look like this today?
Ninjas used Earth Release techniques to level the land, Water Release to irrigate farmland, and Sealing Jutsu to store supplies. Ninjutsu that were once only used to kill people have now become magical tools for building homes. Ninjas holding scrolls and discussing rune circuits, and researchers in white coats adjusting rockets, come and go on the streets of Konoha. Such scenes are no less impressive than those in the Dragon Country of the previous life.
"Six years, and he's actually covered the distance that took him sixty years in his previous life." Tsubasa stroked the holographic projection remote control on the table, filled with emotion. He remembered when he first took office, the village didn't even have a decent hospital. Now, the Medical Department can treat terminal illnesses using Medical Ninjutsu combined with gene technology.
What he was most proud of were the achievements of the Scientific Research Department. Relying on his memories from his previous life, he pointed in just a few directions, and Konoha's technology achieved a leap forward. Lunar rockets, holographic communication, floating islands... these things that once only existed in science fiction novels have now become reality.
"If only ten years passed..." Tsubasa gazed at the brightly lit streets outside the window, a flicker of excitement in his eyes. With ninjas as "living generators," and with a continuous supply of Chakra energy, he was confident he could lead Konoha to completely surpass the technological level of his previous life. By then, perhaps they could truly build spaceships that could fly into space and explore a wider world.
Thinking of this, he couldn't help but smile. The ninjas of the past fought tooth and nail for resources; now, they used extraordinary power to build their homes. Wasn't this the transformation he had always wanted?
As night fell completely, the neon lights of Konoha illuminated the village, like Hoshiochi earth. Tsubasa stood up, donned his Hokage robe, and walked to the window. In the distance came the laughter of children and the occasional explosion from the Scientific Research Department lab—it seemed another new invention had been born.
"Just you wait and see, Shinobi World," he murmured softly. "Ten years from now, Konoha will show you what a true golden age is."
Night fell over Konoha, and lights twinkled on the stone path. A Shadow Clone squatted by the well, applying medicine to a little girl's scraped knee. "Does it hurt?" He took out a healing potion he had brought from Shikkotsu Forest; with a flash of golden light, the wound healed instantly.
The little girl, her face streaked with tears, looked up and asked, "Is Hokage a god?"
"I'd say half!" Tsubasa chuckled, pulling out a piece of fruit candy. The surrounding children cheered, and one boy tugged at his sleeve. "I heard you can fly! Can you take me up to see it?" No sooner had he spoken than the children suddenly felt their feet sink into the air, and when they opened their eyes again, they were standing atop the Third statue on Kage Rock. Thousands of lights spread out beneath their feet like a flowing Milky Way.
"See that brightest star?" Tsubasa pointed to the night sky, conjuring a handful of candy from his fingertips. "From now on, you will all shine like stars! These candies are a reward for good children who eat well and study hard!" The children jumped and cheered excitedly.
Meanwhile, in the Hokage's office, Tsubasa was about to slip away when his secretary Kagami Uchiha, stopped him. "Sir! There's still a pile of documents to approve!" He sighed helplessly, secretly popping a candy into his mouth—he really envied those Shadow Clone who were strolling around outside!
In the residential area, another Shadow Clone was surrounded by a group of women holding children. "Sir! My third child can call me 'Dad' now!" "This scarf was knitted for you, don't get cold Immortal Cultivation!"
Tsubasa took the old-fashioned floral scarf and wrapped it around his neck. Suddenly, he caught sight of a familiar pregnant woman in the crowd—the same young woman who had consulted him about the birth policy six years ago. Now, she was holding twins in her arms, with a bouncy toddler following behind. "Pregnant again? Wow, you've got some serious stamina!"
The women burst into laughter, and one joked, "When are you getting married, sir? We'll introduce you to the most virtuous girl in the whole village!" The Shadow Clone choked and coughed, realizing he was no match for these feisty aunties.
"No need for introductions, you all know I have seven fiancées. The wedding is coming soon, I'll invite everyone to the celebration!" he said with a smile.
At the other end of the street, other Shadow Clone were receiving hot wine and roasted sweet potatoes from the villagers. The newly built orphanage was lit with warm yellow lights, and one of the Shadow Clone was leading the children on the rooftop to look at the stars. "Remember, our goal in Konoha is the Xingchen and the sea!"
