Shrek Academy is located in the suburbs, and its facilities are very old-fashioned. The rooms, which resemble bamboo houses with many doors, are simple student dormitories.
With the arrival of Xiao Yan and Xiao Wu two years ago, Shrek Academy now has five students: four boys and one girl. Xiao Wu sleeps alone in an attic, while the remaining boys live in another bungalow.
As a ray of dawn climbed onto the treetops, a tall, middle-aged scholar excitedly peered out the window, knocked lightly on the door, and walked straight in.
There are four beds in total.
Tang San and Dai Mubai were still meditating. The neatly folded sheets on the bed looked like they hadn't been used in a long time, with obvious wrinkles indicating they were old. It was clear that the two of them hadn't rested for a long time and were using meditation to replace sleep, so that they could keep up with their cultivation while resting.
This is exactly the task the academy requires!
The Grandmaster smiled with satisfaction. Nighttime meditation and cultivation sound simple, but very few Soul Master can actually do it step by step.
Tang San, as his disciple, was always very obedient.
Dai Mubai, after returning from the Heaven Dou Imperial City two years ago, had been depressed and melancholy, especially after witnessing Tang San's terrifying talent, which spurred him to work harder.
My gaze swept over the two people, and in the third bed lay sprawled a young man who looked like a middle-aged man with a full beard. What was strange was that this fierce-looking old man actually had a pair of beautiful peach blossom eyes.
Oscar!
This kid with Food-type Martial Soul, despite his immense talent, was wasting his time playing around, which enraged the Grandmaster. He rushed over and ripped the large white quilt, which resembled a shroud, off to the ground.
Oscar yawned, without even opening his eyes.
With a twitch at the corner of his mouth, the Grandmaster slightly moved his right hand, and a faint yellow light flickered on the ground. His Martial Soul appeared, and Luo Sanpao stretched and, at the Grandmaster's request, plopped down and began to howl.
"Ah!" Oscar woke up with a start, a sharp pain shooting through his arm. Luo Sanpao had grabbed his right arm in his mouth, and it was like a leech that he couldn't shake off.
And the moment that bastard jumped onto the bed, he immediately began his attack on Oscar's lower body, lunging over his thighs like a wild boar, his eyes practically glowing!
"Damn it, where did this dog that eats pee instead of shit come from so early in the morning!" Oscar yelled, and hurriedly shouted the Soul Spell "I Have a Big Sausage," which he stuffed directly into Luo Sanpao's mouth.
Oscar, who was about to curse and swear, finally spotted the Grandmaster, whose face was ashen, as if he owed millions, and whose stubble of gray hair made him look exactly like a thug who looked like a brothel madam.
Oscar, his voice trembling, called out, "Greetings, Grandmaster."
Yu Xiaogang frowned, feeling quite disdainful of Oscar. After all, with Tang San as a shining example, his standards had risen considerably. If Oscar weren't a rare food-type genius, he might have really turned on him.
"Look what your companions are doing. Do you think you're so proud of sleeping until now?! Or do you think you're a food-type Soul Master with unprecedented Innate Full Soul Power?!" Yu Xiaogang's voice wasn't loud, but it was very heavy, directly waking Tang San and Dai Mubai who were meditating nearby.
Oscar, who had just been scolded, didn't dare to utter a sound. He already knew from the rumors he'd heard from Fatty that the so-called Grandmaster had suddenly appeared two years ago was a well-known figure in the Soul Master World. Although he wasn't popular, their principal, Flender, believed in his ten core theories and considered them the ultimate truths of life. It could be said that Flender had entrusted almost all matters, big and small, of the Shrek Academy to Yu Xiaogang.
Oscar's expression changed quickly, and he hurriedly put on a smile, "I know I was wrong, I'll correct it tonight, I promise to listen to the Grandmaster and not hold everyone back!"
There's no way to back down. That fat guy's deadpan expression clearly indicated that this Grandmaster in front of us has a special relationship with Flender. Both of them are old bastards who have been single for forty or fifty years, and they might still be virgins.
There's an even more explosive possibility.
These two old bastards probably have some kind of secret affair. Fatty Ma Hongjun was heartbroken because of this. Because of the arrival of the Grandmaster, even mundane tasks like cooking were assigned to him, supposedly to improve his Martial Soul proficiency. Fatty sarcastically remarked that the real principal wasn't his master Flender, but rather the handsome and virtuous Grandmaster.
That damned Flender is going to get shot too; he might never be able to fart again in his life.
Oscar shuddered, recalling how Flender, having understood the joke, had acted so ruthlessly that the poor, chubby chicken had almost been beaten to a pulp.
The Grandmaster pinched his nose and walked toward the fourth bed, because he could smell a stench from a distance. Before he even got close, he saw the white paper scraps scattered on the floor, mixed with an unknown yellow liquid.
The Grandmaster opened his lips, his voice trembling.
"Can anyone remind me how old Ma Hongjun is now?!"
Tang San, having finished his meditation, calmly said, "He's a few months younger than me and Xiao Wu, almost ten years old."
"Ten years old... does he think he's a water tap, or a tissue-eliminating machine?!" The Grandmaster felt like he was going crazy.
Oscar struggled to suppress his laughter.
Dai Mubai, however, didn't hold back at all and burst into laughter, "Fatty is practically the tissue paper hero from the shops outside the school! He might even make a fortune from that!"
The Grandmaster forced a smile, looked at the still motionless fourth bed, and took a deep breath, only to be met with an even stronger stench. This smelled like the sea!
" Ma Hongjun, Instructor Ma, did you overexert yourself last night and rush to Heaven?! Don't tell us you haven't even woken up after talking for so long!" the Grandmaster sneered.
The fourth bed remained motionless.
The Grandmaster's face darkened. He had already swallowed the Sausage, but now, smelling the aroma, Luo Sanpao became even more excited and rushed onto the bed. With a bite of his mouth, he yanked the entire bedsheet off the bed with a loud bang.
The bedsheets that had fallen to the floor reeked of a foul stench, and the yellowish-brown lining was extremely filthy. Ignoring all that, Yu Xiaogang shifted his gaze upwards, intending to teach the guy a lesson, but suddenly froze.
The bed was empty!
Where are they!?
"Holy crap, that fatso is really gone!" Oscar exclaimed.
Dai Mubai clicked his tongue in amazement, "He's ascended to Flying Immortal, become a god! Fatty has reached the highest realm, he's become an immortal!"
Yu Xiaogang was furious. Tang San, who was dressed neatly beside him, had already gotten out of bed, smiled, and said, "Since you gave us the day before yesterday, Fatty has slipped out and hasn't returned yet."
"They're not going to eat pheasant again, are they?! That was the same excuse last time!"
Dai Mubai laughed, "It's probably House of Red Delights, or maybe House of Full Spring, or even that newly opened Cherry Blossom Rain Pavilion. Their pheasants are incredibly fragrant!"
