Naruto subdued the Ten-Tails and freed Rin the Wanderer from the God Tree’s crystal, allowing her to reunite with Obito the Wanderer. Naruto then demanded that Obito the Wanderer take him to this world’s god, while Obito hurried back after learning the God Tree had vanished.

• Naruto sealed the Ten-Tails into a slumber after it cornered Kurama in the sealing space.
• Naruto dissolved the crystal holding Rin the Wanderer and removed the rods restraining Obito the Wanderer.

Obito watched Rin the Wanderer reunite with Obito the Wanderer, then Naruto used the Wanderer’s Rinnegan to contact the Sage of Six Paths. Naruto learned he had to eliminate Danzo the Wanderer before the group could return to the Shinobi World, while Danzo plotted to find Deidara the Wanderer and unleash what was sealed inside him.

• Obito and Black Zetsu returned to find the God Tree gone, and Obito watched Rin the Wanderer embrace the sobbing Obito the Wanderer before leaving in the rain.
• Naruto used Human Path: Hunt on Obito the Wanderer’s Rinnegan and entered the vanished Genjutsu World, where he met the Sage of Six Paths.

Deidara the Wanderer was captured by Danzo the Wanderer, who examined the strange sealed mouths on his body but could not identify what lay inside. Danzo ordered his men to keep Deidara tied up and continued searching for Orochimaru the Wanderer.

• Deidara the Wanderer fled through the forest as Danzo the Wanderer's red-armored samurai pursued him.
• Deidara the Wanderer ran into Danzo the Wanderer at the forest's edge, then was caught and brought before him.
• Danzo the Wanderer asked what was sealed inside Deidara the Wanderer, but Deidara said he did not know.
• Danzo the Wanderer had his guards strip Deidara's shirt and gag him with his socks, revealing sealed mouths bound by black threads across his body.
• Danzo the Wanderer left the seals untouched, ordered his men to tie Deidara up, and asked whether they had found Orochimaru the Wanderer.
• A red-armored samurai reported that Orochimaru the Wanderer and Kimimaro the Wanderer had disappeared, so Danzo ordered the search to continue.

Naruto spoke with Orochimaru the Wanderer, who revealed that he was a remnant soul from Naruto’s future and had come to warn him about Kawaki. Orochimaru could say no more, while Danzo the Wanderer continued searching for him elsewhere.

• Orochimaru the Wanderer met Tobirama the Wanderer at the Demon Tribe, where Tobirama greeted him with hostility over his past actions.
• Naruto, Sasuke, and Jiraiya the Wanderer returned, and Orochimaru the Wanderer greeted Naruto and asked him to call him Orochimaru or Aunt Snake.

Naruto and Sasuke tracked Danzo the Wanderer to the Akatsuki’s last base and attacked him, while Obito the Wanderer sided with them. Danzo kept using Izanagi to survive, but Naruto removed one of his Mangekyō Sharingan; Danzo then prepared to rely on the imprisoned Deidara the Wanderer.

• Danzo the Wanderer learned that Obito the Wanderer and Orochimaru the Wanderer were missing and that the Akatsuki had lost its other bases.

Naruto attacked Danzo the Wanderer, who used Izanagi and unleashed a suicidal sealing technique; after Naruto and Sasuke retreated, Sasuke noticed something familiar about the crows.

Crows emerged from Deidara the Wanderer and summoned Itachi the Wanderer, who defeated Danzo the Wanderer and destroyed his stolen Sharingan. Itachi told Naruto that Danzo’s arm could help them return to their world, then vanished into crows that returned to Deidara.

• Naruto and Sasuke recognized the crows emerging from Deidara the Wanderer as connected to Itachi, while Danzo the Wanderer dismissed them and tried to escape.
• Itachi the Wanderer appeared behind Danzo and trapped him in a genjutsu where he endured three days of torture in five minutes.
• Itachi cut off Danzo’s Sharingan-covered arm and burned his right eye with Amaterasu despite Sasuke objecting.

Naruto and Sasuke completed the Sage of Six Paths’ task and returned to the Shinobi World, with Naruto bringing Ten-Tails along. They arrived in Sasuke’s room, where Mikoto tearfully embraced them.

• Naruto released Ten-Tails in the sealed space, fed it his severed arm, and summoned it into the outside world.
• Sasuke told Naruto he had burned Danzo the Wanderer’s corpse with Amaterasu.
