The Great Toad Sage nodded, then summoned a Toad: "Then you shall follow it and learn Senjutsu."
Uchiha Takashi turned his head and saw that the Toad looked familiar. Upon closer inspection, he exclaimed, "Oh my god, isn't this a middle-aged version of Sage Fukasaku?"
After the argument ended, Uchiha Takashi finally realized that the Great Toad Sage was somewhat different from the original story.
In the original story, the character had to catch his breath after every few sentences, so why is he so energetic in front of me? Right?
It wasn't until he saw Sage Fukasaku that Uchiha Takashi realized that it was still hundreds of years before the main storyline began, and the Great Toad Sage wasn't that old yet; he was probably only six or seven hundred years old, unlike the over 1000 years old in the main storyline.
"What's your name?" Sage Fukasaku asked, looking at Uchiha Takashi. "Let's make this clear beforehand: forcing yourself to learn Senjutsu Mode without talent will have serious side effects."
Uchiha Takashi nodded. "My name is Uchiha Takashi, and I'm an overpowered ninja. I know what the side effects are; you just need to teach me."
Fukasaku: "..." Why is this Uchiha kid talking so strangely?
"Fine, let me teach you how to sense Natural Energy first." Sage Fukasaku was too lazy to delve into Uchiha Takashi's way of speaking.
Over the years, he's met quite a few people, including many strange ones, so Uchiha Takashi wouldn't be an exception.
"Close your eyes and carefully feel the flow of Natural Energy in the air... Gibberish, gibberish," the Sage Fukasaku chattered on.
Uchiha Takashi sat cross-legged, closed his eyes, and continuously sensed the special power around him.
A special power... Chakra? No, I already have a ton of that in my body.
"You must carefully sense the flow of energy in the air! Feel the most fundamental power of Chakra. Everything around you is Natural Energy; feel it carefully." Sage Fukasaku then fell silent.
Because Uchiha Takashi had already closed his eyes and begun to calm his mind to sense it.
Based on his previous experience teaching Senjutsu, even with some talent, it would take several days before one could sense the flow of Natural Energy.
Being able to sense the flow of Natural Energy is only the first step in learning Senjutsu Mode. The next step is to absorb this Natural Energy into one's body, combine it with one's own Chakra to form Senjutsu Chakra, and then store it within the body.
Then, through continuous accumulation, when the Senjutsu Chakra surpasses a certain threshold, Sage Mode can be activated, at which point one can begin learning Senjutsu Ninjutsu.
However, this timeframe is quite long, and even the most basic perception of the flow of Natural Energy is enough to deter many people.
Being able to sense the flow of Natural Energy means having the talent to learn Senjutsu; some people can't even sense the flow of Natural Energy.
Of course, sensing the flow of Natural Energy doesn't necessarily mean you can learn Chakra; it also depends on the compatibility with Sage Mode.
If it's not a good match, and the side effect turns you into a Toad, or Toad statue, then that'll be troublesome.
Sage Fukasaku was whistling and preparing to catch some insects to eat, Uchiha Takashi suddenly said, "Wait, I think I sense something."
"Huh, what did you say?" Sage Fukasaku turned around like an aircraft carrier. "You said you felt it? How is that possible? So fast?"
"Hey, hey, hey, are you kidding me?" Sage Fukasaku said to Uchiha Takashi, "Don't lie to me. Even if I've seen very talented people, learning Senjutsu isn't like this."
Uchiha Takashi opened his eyes and spread his hands. "How would I know? You let me sense Natural Energy, and then I sensed a different energy flow in the air than Chakra."
How do I know if it's Natural Energy? I just felt it anyway.
Sage Fukasaku: "This... this... this... this... unbelievable, utterly unbelievable! To have mastered the basics in such a short time!"
You're simply a genius! According to the records of Mount Myōboku, the last person with such talent was... the Sage of Six Paths.
Uchiha Takashi's eyes lit up when he heard the name: "Ah, with such talent, doesn't that mean I'm the chosen one?"
"Perhaps?" Sage Fukasaku gave Uchiha Takashi a deep look. "You're simply born to learn this."
Uchiha Takashi: "Haha, maybe he's a natural Sage Body."
The Sage Fukasaku shook his head. "Haha, Sage Body is something that only comes along once in a hundred or even a thousand years, how could that be... Are you serious?"

Just then, Sage Shima suddenly appeared.
"Honey, why are you still here? Teaching Senjutsu doesn't necessarily require this much time."
Sage Fukasaku looked at Shima and said, "Honey, this little Uchiha is a natural at learning Senjutsu. In just half a day, he's already synthesized and stored Senjutsu Chakra."
