The reason Kurama is here is because he has been living a secluded life ever since the Sage of Six Paths left.
To avoid being disturbed by wars among mortals, they often reside in the interior of the Land of Fire, where wars are rarely fought.
After all, which war could possibly reach the heart of the Land of Fire? That's the closest, most remote place to the capital, so wars between clans generally don't affect that area.
Nine-Tails is rather lazy, so he basically hasn't moved since he moved in. His daily life consists of eating and sleeping, sleeping and eating.
Although as a collection of Chakra, he doesn't need to eat anything, he will occasionally eat to satisfy his hunger.
He had gotten up to go eat, but before he could even start eating, he suddenly smelled a strong stench of blood. Following the scent, he arrived outside the village.
The strong smell of blood can only mean that many people have died in the village, and the only reason so many people would die is during a war.
Otherwise, would the village have just erupted into conflict, resulting in so many deaths? You're kidding, Nine-Tails isn't stupid; he would have just passed on it, okay?
If war breaks out here, Nine-Tails really doesn't know where he can hide. It seems like there's war everywhere. He can't exactly go to the desert to fight Shukaku One-Tail territory, can he?
Besides, Nine-Tails) doesn't like sand, and the Land of Fire's geographical environment is most suitable for him to live in. Otherwise, he wouldn't have stayed here for hundreds of years.
"Ugh, so annoying! Who's bothering me?" Nine-Tails scratched his head in frustration. "I just wanted to find a quiet place to spend this time, is that so hard?"
Could it be that the stinky raccoon was right, and that they should have hidden in the desert?
Nine-Tails thought about it carefully in her mind. Life in the desert was hot, there was a lot of sand, and the wind would blow up sandstorms.
Just thinking about it made him feel uneasy, so Nine-Tails quickly shook his head. "Forget it, I'd better not go to a place like the desert. It's not suitable for me."
Nine-Tails sighed, "It seems we have no choice but to flee to the Land of Fire. Hopefully, this war hasn't reached the deepest parts of the Land of Fire. If it has, then there probably won't be a peaceful place anywhere in the entire Shinobi World."
The Nine-Tails shook its head as it left, leaving huge footprints on the ground.
Shortly after Nine-Tails left, a hunting party from the village arrived. The group was cautiously surveying their surroundings, their hands tightly gripping their bows and arrows.
"I've heard there are wild animals around here, everyone be careful," the hunting team leader called out to the others. "If you spot any trace of wild animals, everyone gather together immediately, and whatever you do, don't go off alone!"
Everyone behind him nodded, but before the captain could finish speaking, someone suddenly widened their eyes and pointed ahead. "Captain, look behind you!"
Upon hearing this, the captain felt a chill run down his spine. Was there a gigantic wild beast behind him? Or was a bear about to strike?
With immense anxiety, the captain mechanically turned his head, only to see nothing but an empty forest.
Looking at the empty space in front of him, the captain twitched his lips, then turned around and smacked the person who had spoken on the forehead. "What nonsense are you spouting? What did you see that you're yelling about?"
"Ouch!" The man groaned twice, clutching his head, then pointed to the ground and said, "Captain, can't you see what's under your feet talking to you?"
The captain sneered and lowered his head, muttering, "Is there something else under the feet of that old man downstairs...?"
Then the captain saw a huge footprint, so large that even if everyone stood on it, they couldn't fill it. If it belonged to a wild animal, that animal could probably wipe them all out in an instant.
Everyone present was terrified by the huge footprint and screamed as they ran back.
As for the captain? Oh, the fastest one is this guy, the one running in the lead, the one closest to the village.
If he weren't so fast and able to survive every time, why do you think he became the captain?
The captain ran back to the village at a speed faster than anyone else and found the Uchiha clansmen working there.
The local Konoha Military Police Force's highest-ranking officer, and the only Uchiha clansman, stared blankly at the panting man, asking with a bewildered expression, "What are you doing?"
The captain was panting heavily, almost unable to catch his breath. The Uchiha clansmen quickly patted him on the back. "Speak slowly, speak slowly, catch your breath first."
After a long while, the guy finally caught his breath, grabbed the Uchiha clansman's hand, and said with a terrified expression, "We found a huge beast's footprint outside the village! That beast must have been huge, at least this big!"
As he spoke, the captain spread his arms wide, trying to describe just how big the thing was. The Uchiha clan members opposite him were completely bewildered, unable to understand a word he was saying.
All they could vaguely discern was that they had encountered a huge wild animal footprint in the wild; they couldn't extract any other useful information whatsoever.
Finally, after finishing his story, the Uchiha clansman scratched his head and said, "So you found some wild animal footprints in the wild and then ran back?"
Upon hearing this, the captain blinked, whistled, and said, "You can't say it like that, but saying it like that is also correct, yet you can't say it like that either..."
The Uchiha clan member was utterly speechless. So you didn't notice anything, and just a footprint was enough to scare you away?
Just then, the rest of the hunting party arrived at the scene, grabbed the Uchiha clansmen, and began pointing outside the village and chattering incoherently.
What this group said was almost identical to what the team leader said; they were all talking about the same thing.
The Uchiha clan members frowned more and more as they listened. What the hell? It's huge! How huge is it? Is it as tall as the clan leader's black Susanoo?
However, judging from the villagers' description, it did seem to be that big. Based on the footprints described by the villagers, the Uchiha clan members roughly estimated the beast's height to be around 100 meters.
What kind of beast could be so big? He had never seen such a large beast in his entire life; the largest he had ever seen was a Ninja Hawk almost half his height.
The only ones I've heard of are slightly larger Enma, about the height of a human. What do you mean by a 100-meter-tall beast? What the hell is this beast?
