Chapter Summaries

After the Battle of New York, S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra struggled to account for Su Zhou, who had vanished with Loki, while Nick Fury planned to contain the fallout. Su Zhou woke in his apartment and joined the future Avengers in San Francisco, where Hank Pym had agreed to provide Pym Particles after they rescued his wife from the Quantum Realm.

• Tony released S.H.I.E.L.D.'s failed Tesseract research, while Alexander decided Su Zhou's disappearance did not threaten Hydra.
• Nick Fury planned to blame Coulson and a World Security Council member for the nuclear launch, then distract the public with stories about Su Zhou.
