Ch. 41Who was that youth?

Shangguan Xiongtian explained that a young heaven’s chosen may have triggered the disaster that destroyed the Star Divine Sect and much of the Desolate Domain. He identified the suspected youth as the one who fought his way into the Jun Clan, leaving Jiang Xueyi and Su Fan with a lead for their revenge.

  • Shangguan Feiyue asked her father and the elders to set aside questions about her danger and explain what had happened.
  • Jiang Xueyi mourned the destruction of the Star Divine Sect and cried out in anguish while Su Fan struggled to comfort her.

  • Shangguan Xiongtian said the suspected culprit was the youth who had fought his way into the Jun Clan.

Ch. 42The one who touched the taboo was certainly not me

Shangguan Xiongtian suspected that Su Fan was connected to the taboo that had triggered a disaster, but Su Fan and his companions insisted he was innocent. After learning Su Fan was the young man who had killed a Jun Clan ancestor, Shangguan Xiongtian praised his strength and invited him and his friends to compete in the Divine Dynasty Heavenly Pride Battle.

  • Su Fan and Jiang Xueyi challenged Shangguan Xiongtian to explain why he suspected Su Fan, and he said his conclusion was only a conjecture.
  • Elder Qu recognized Su Fan as the young man who had stormed the Jun Clan and killed its divine soul realm middle-stage ancestor in three moves.
  • Shangguan Xiongtian's pressure overwhelmed Su Fan until his master's power relieved it, and Shangguan Xiongtian confirmed Su Fan's identity.
  • Su Fan denied touching the taboo, and Shangguan Feiyue vouched that he and Jiang Xueyi had been training with her in the Profound Domain.
  • Shangguan Xiongtian praised Su Fan's combat strength, asked Shangguan Feiyue whether she would return with him, and invited her friends to join the Heavenly Pride Battle after she chose to stay.

Ch. 43Was this commandery so weak?

After returning to Storm City, Su Fan once again found his family in ruins and someone else comforting Jiang Xueyi. Meanwhile, Jun Wudao investigated Heavenly Moon Commandery City and considered whether his million Asuras could destroy it without attracting attention from the Divine Capital.

  • Shangguan Xiongtian left after inviting Su Fan, while Shangguan Feiyue wondered why her father was acting strangely.
  • Su Fan returned to Storm City and found the same devastating situation with his family, while someone else comforted Jiang Xueyi.
  • Jun Wudao asked Fu Guiming to search for news of Su Fan and Jiang Xueyi ahead of the Heavenly Pride Battle, which was twenty-two days away.
  • An Asura reported that Heavenly Moon Commandery City had only fifteen Tribulation Transcendence Realm powerhouses, including its Second Tribulation Void God Realm commandery governor.
  • Jun Wudao considered using his million Asuras to wipe out the commandery and wondered whether doing so would alert the Divine Capital.

Ch. 44Fu Guiming's Mother

  • Jun Wudao asked whether she was Fu Guiming's mother and told her that they were not her enemies and had not captured her son.
  • Fu Guiming's mother refused to believe Jun Wudao and threatened him unless he released her son.

Ch. 45The Central Imperial...?

Jun Wudao told the stunning woman that he and the Asura had come only to lodge and were not there to capture her or her son, Fu Guiming. After she mentioned the Central Imperial, Jun Wudao hinted that he knew about the force pursuing them, leaving her terrified by his warning that she could not escape if he chose to kill her.

  • Jun Wudao told the stunning woman that Fu Guiming had gone out and would return soon.
  • The stunning woman questioned whether Jun Wudao and the Asura had come to capture her and her son.
  • Jun Wudao said they were merely lodging for a few days and told her to ask Fu Guiming when he returned.
  • The stunning woman remarked that Jun Wudao and the Asura were too weak to come from the Central Imperial, prompting Jun Wudao to consider the powerful force pursuing her and her son.
  • Jun Wudao hinted that he knew about the Central Imperial and said they would leave once their matters were settled.
  • The stunning woman demanded to know who Jun Wudao was, and he warned that she could not escape if he wanted to kill her and Fu Guiming.

Ch. 46Toying with Mu Yunxi

Mu Yunxi confronted Jun Wudao, suspecting he had come for her and her son because he knew about the Central Imperial Court. Jun Wudao taunted her by claiming her son was in his hands, and the Asura defeated her when she attacked.

  • Mu Yunxi questioned why Jun Wudao had chosen her home and demanded to know his purpose and where her son Ming'er was.
  • Jun Wudao denied having any reason to scheme against Mu Yunxi or her son, but she remained suspicious because he knew about the Central Imperial Court.
  • Mu Yunxi concluded that Jun Wudao must have come from a Divine Capital of one of the ten great divine dynasties and might be seeking to capture her for the Central Imperial Court.
  • Jun Wudao teased Mu Yunxi by saying her son was in his hands and asking whether she wanted to save him.
  • Mu Yunxi charged at Jun Wudao, but the Asura intercepted her and smashed her silver crescent attack, knocking her down and leaving her coughing blood.

Ch. 47A threat... coveting her beauty?

Jun Wudao stopped the Asura from killing the wounded Mu Yunxi, then threatened her son Ming'er to force her compliance. Mu Yunxi resisted and vowed to fight back as Jun Wudao described increasingly cruel ways to torment the boy.

  • The Asura prepared to kill Mu Yunxi, but Jun Wudao ordered him to stop.
  • Mu Yunxi realized Jun Wudao had not intended to kill her and demanded to know what he wanted.
  • Jun Wudao said he had changed his mind and hinted that he wanted Mu Yunxi herself.
  • Mu Yunxi refused him, so Jun Wudao threatened to torture her son Ming'er.
  • Jun Wudao described horrifying punishments for Ming'er, and Mu Yunxi struggled to rise and threatened to drag them all to hell.

Ch. 48Mu Yunxi's despair: do it? Now?

Mu Yunxi gave in to Jun Wudao’s threats against her son, Fu Guiming, and entered the room despite her fear and hatred. Jun Wudao told her to sit, leaving her wondering whether he intended to force himself on her immediately.

  • Jun Wudao mocked Mu Yunxi and demanded to know whether she wanted to save her son.
  • Mu Yunxi agreed to comply but insisted that Jun Wudao release Fu Guiming first.
  • Jun Wudao threatened to torture Fu Guiming, and Mu Yunxi reluctantly entered the room to protect him.
  • Jun Wudao told Mu Yunxi to sit, and she asked if he meant to do it now.

Ch. 49The terror of the Central Imperial Court

Jun Wudao questioned Mu Yunxi about the Central Imperial Court instead of accepting her attempt to undress, and she explained that it ruled the Crimson Firmament Realm through nine halls and eighteen divisions. He grew interested in its strength, while Mu Yunxi warned that even its ten subordinate divine dynasties were beyond his reach.

  • Mu Yunxi mistook Jun Wudao's command for a demand to undress and began to comply, hoping to save her son.
  • Jun Wudao mocked her misunderstanding and asked what kind of power the Central Imperial Court was.
  • Jun Wudao threatened Mu Yunxi's son, prompting her to explain that the Central Imperial Court was the Crimson Firmament Realm's strongest force.
  • Mu Yunxi said the ancient court had ruled for ages and that its nine halls and eighteen divisions could each reign supreme in the starry sky.
  • Jun Wudao became interested in challenging the court, while Mu Yunxi mocked his confidence and warned that its ten divine dynasties were already beyond him.

Ch. 50Heaven-Shaking Foundations, the Heaven-Treading Realm

Jun Wudao questioned Mu Yunxi about the strength of the Central Imperial Court and the Ten Great Divine Dynasties, learning how far their forces surpassed his current power. He turned his attention to the God King experts ruling the dynasties, especially the Bright Moon Divine Dynasty.

  • Jun Wudao invited Mu Yunxi to sit and asked how strong the Central Imperial Court was.
  • Mu Yunxi explained that its disciples ranged from Three-Tribulation True God Realm to perfected God King Realm, while its elders and leaders included Heaven-Treading Realm experts.
  • Jun Wudao considered the threat posed by the Central Imperial Court and asked about the Ten Great Divine Dynasties.
  • Mu Yunxi said each dynasty reportedly had several God King Realm experts presiding over it, and Jun Wudao fell into thought.
