Yang Jian and the other captains battled Ghost Lake, uncovered its connection to the Black Coffin, and tried to contain its spread into Zhongzhou City. They regained several allies and drove the lake back, but the escaping ghosts and the departure of the Taiping Town group left the crisis unresolved.

• Li Jun, Yang Jian, Shen Lin, Liu San, and A Hong reached Ghost Lake, where their attempt to draw out its source brought corpses and ghosts to the surface.
• Shen Lin followed the lake ghost into Yang Jian’s memories, where the wolfdogs overwhelmed it, while Ghost Lake dragged the captains underwater.
• Yang Jian reached the lakebed, found the Black Coffin, and discovered that he could control Ghost Lake after defeating the ghost that had invaded his memories.
• Yang Jian recovered A Hong and Cao Yang, confronted the Taiping Ancient Town Ghost Tamers, and the black vicious dog killed the woman in a dream.
• Yang Jian reshaped the surrounding terrain and redirected Ghost Lake’s water, then returned underwater to find Li Jun and Liu San as the female corpse pursued him.
• Yang Jian brought Li Jun and Liu San back to the surface, restored A Hong’s face with Ghost Makeup, and freed Li Jun from the coffin nail.
• The one-eyed old man left with Boss Liu and the Faceless Man, while female corpses appeared throughout Zhongzhou City and Yang Jian suspected the lake ghost had taken on other Ghost Tamers’ abilities.

Yang Jian and the captains contained Ghost Lake, then Yang Jian entered a dream to claim the vicious black dog from his memories. He returned to Dachang City to pursue a gambling scheme targeting his company and began investigating other supernatural places.

• Yang Jian used Ghost Lake’s power to create male ghosts that fought its female corpses, then the captains encountered the woman in white who was the lake’s source and retreated as its curse began to consume them.
• Yang Jian abandoned his cursed body, freed Liu San with the Ghost Scissors, and helped the team contain Ghost Lake, and they also discovered Weird County and agreed not to disturb it.
• Liu San killed He Liansheng in Taiping Ancient Town, and He Yin'er inherited her grandfather’s Soul Summoning power and decided to rebuild Taiping Town in Dayuan City.
• Yang Jian visited Sun Rui at Hell Apartment and entered Ghost Dream to approach the vicious black dog, which recognized Yang Xiao before Yang Jian became its new master.
• Yang Jian returned to Dachang City, learned that his cousin had disappeared, and discovered that Qian Xin and an investor had drawn Wang Bin and Zhang Xiangui into a scheme that cost them heavily.
• Yang Jian brought Zhang Wei and Xiong Wenwen to Dachang City to confront the scheme’s operators, while Liu Xiaoyu warned him about the moving Black Umbrella Ghost Domain and Tong Qian’s investigation at the Caesar Hotel.
• Yang Jian met with Qian Xin and the investor’s representatives, then began inspecting supernatural sites and found a restaurant lamp that smelled of burning corpse oil.

Yang Jian settled Boss He’s challenge, killed the conspirators who tried to trap him, and escaped a nightmare world linked to the Ghost Dream World. After collecting the gambling debts and dealing with Zhang Wei’s attackers, he began investigating strange activity at Caesar Hotel.

• Yang Jian exposed Boss He’s cheating and joined a wager against him, then fought Luo Sheng, Sun Ren, and their allies in a false Room 707 and killed them, including Boss He.
• Yang Jian sealed Sun Ren’s ghost underground and discovered a memory linking Zhang Xianguang to He Yuelian, whom he warned to tell him if she encountered Zhang Xianguang.
• Luo Sheng’s recording put Yang Jian to sleep and drew him into a Nightmare World, where he used his vicious dogs to attack the captors and found a connection to the Ghost Dream World.
• Yang Jian returned to Daxing Entertainment City, forced He Long to promise twelve billion yuan in repayment, and told Jiang Yan and the others to divide the money.
• Yang Jian found Zhang Wei surrounded by robbers, helped him defeat them, and told him to prepare to leave for Dachang City that night.
• Yang Jian gave Dr. Chen corpse oil to study and learned that Tong Qian had found strange activity inside Caesar Hotel, so he went there with Li Yang.
• Yang Jian met Tong Qian and Huang Ying inside Caesar Hotel, sent Huang Ying safely outside, and learned that the hotel became active at night and that her five companions were missing.
• Yang Jian recognized the walking corpse Huang Ying had seen and decided to draw its face.

Yang Jian led Li Yang and Tong Qian through Caesar Hotel’s shifting supernatural rooms, meeting its trapped survivors and uncovering the truth about Xiang Lan’s repeated revivals. After reviving Xiang Lan and finding her records in Room 100, they discovered that the room’s final warning pointed to a danger already inside.

• Yang Jian recognized A Nan from Huang Ying’s memory, found that the sealed corridor and its corpse had vanished, and built a golden door to block the passage before the hotel transformed at ten o’clock.
• Yang Jian traced the tall corpse to Room 401, then confronted a death-curse ghost in the restaurant, stopped its music with Li Yang, and took the cursed piano into Ghost Lake.
• A Nan explained his repeated resurrections and led Yang Jian, Li Yang, and Tong Qian through the hotel’s dangerous floors to meet Zhu Jian, Dong Yulan, and Wang Genquan, who had also been trapped and revived.
• Yang Jian explored Room 88, survived its nested supernatural rooms, and learned from its blood-written messages that A Nan had lied about reviving in Room 101.
• Yang Jian crossed the opera ghosts’ passage, found the real Room 101, and killed A Nan after learning he had misled them to return to Xiang Lan’s resurrection room.
• Yang Jian used the Liar Ghost and his shadow to restore Xiang Lan, who revealed that her records were in Room 100 and described how the hotel’s rooms and ghosts could be survived.
• Yang Jian led the group past dangerous rooms to Room 100, where he read Xiang Lan’s notebook about the route toward Room 1 and its dangers.
• Knocking began at four points on Room 100’s door, and Li Yang sealed it as Yang Jian read Xiang Lan’s warning that the danger was inside the room and behind him.
