After finding parts of a preserved corpse at the village’s three sites, he watched Li Yue and his companions head toward the forest cabin, uncertain what they intended to retrieve.

• Yang Jian killed Yamazaki after the projector showed a ghostly death scene, then returned to Dachang City with the Ghost Child and Door-Knocking Ghost.
• The ghost cupboard delivered Yang Jian a photograph and key with a task to unlock an old residence, while Jiang Yan declared her feelings and joined him on a trip to his hometown.

Yang Jian uncovered the source of the nightmare haunting Meishan Village and used his father’s plan to keep the ghost suppressed while a wolfdog repeatedly weakened it. After the nightmare’s attacks continued through rainwater, Yang Jian stopped them with his Ghost Domain and stayed in the village to watch the corpse decay.

• Yang Jian confronted Li Yue and the other messengers in the woods, read their letter, and survived the ghost’s attack before warning them to leave Dachang City.
• Yang Jian found Lin Xiaoxi dead and cleared Xiao Yuan of the apparent murder, then realized the nightmare ghost was beginning to affect the village and its waking inhabitants.
• Yang Jian encountered the remnant of his father, learned how the divided corpse had kept the nightmare ghost dormant, and was told to reassemble it while a black wolfhound replaced the ghost as the nightmare’s source.

After returning to Dachang City, Yang Jian rallied investors, confronted Wang Han, and investigated a wave of disappearances in Dahan City. He and his companions entered the Ghost Post Office, where they encountered its messengers and survived a ghost attack at their room.

• Yang Jian returned to Dachang City, learned that Headquarters had been infiltrated and several ghosts stolen, and accepted Li Yang into his team while leaving Xiong Wenwen’s revival undecided.
• At Zhang Xiangui’s gathering, Yang Jian warned the businesspeople about supernatural incidents and secured investments for safe houses and other projects, while refusing Wang Han’s invitation to join his group.
• Yang Jian inspected the twitching, black-haired corpse in the coffin, then prepared to travel to Dahan City with Li Yang and arranged for Zhang Han to oversee Dachang City.
• Sun Rui met Yang Jian and Li Yang in Dahan City and told them about daily disappearances, which led Yang Jian to investigate an abandoned building on Jianshe Road.
• Yang Jian found that the unfinished building overlapped with a hidden Republican Era location and brought Li Yang and Sun Rui into the Ghost Post Office.

Yang Jian delivered the Ghost Post Office’s red letter to Old Madam Liu’s grave and took the coffin nail, triggering a cemetery crisis. Ye Zhen then challenged him, and their battle spread into Dahai City as Yang Jian sought a way to overcome Ye Zhen’s ability to transfer injuries.

• Yang Jian took the red letter addressed to the owner of Fushouyuan No. 78 and traveled with Sun Rui and Li Yang to Dahai City, where he confronted the Supernatural Forum.
• At Fushouyuan Cemetery, Yang Jian found Old Madam Liu’s grave unfilled, then watched a supernatural domain transform the cemetery and trap the group among numbered graves.
• A ghost carved victims’ names onto tombstones and buried them in the Grave Soil, killing Luo Suyī before Yang Jian devised a way to use the tombstone curse against it.
• Yang Jian carved Liu Lan’s name onto a blank tombstone, and the cemetery ghost was dragged underground, and the group later dug up Old Madam Liu’s grave and delivered the red letter.
