( Robert Baratheon's perspective)
In my entire life, I've only ever been angrier than I am now when I discovered that the Targaryen bastard had kidnapped Lyanna, but today I can rival that anger. As Cersei, Joffrey, Tywin, and I entered the throne room, I turned angrily towards Joffrey. The boy shrank back, hiding behind his mother.
I didn't know how to deal with this anger; I was about to boil over. I grabbed a table on the side of the room with all my might to vent my rage. I could feel the wooden planks on the edge of the table starting to crack in my palm, but my anger only intensified.
"Kid, if you keep hiding behind your mother like a coward, I'll break every bone in your body. Come out and stand up like a man!!"
Waaaaah!
He walked toward the center of the room, screaming like a startled pig, his face contorted in terror. Filled with rage, I lifted the massive table and hurled it at Joffrey. He screamed and dodged. This time, Cersei started screaming at me and shielded the boy. I pointed at her and said.
"You! It's because of you that this child has become such a cowardly wimp!!"
"This... this whining little thing can't possibly be my son!!"
(Third person)
The king was furious, Joffrey was nearly scared to death. Tywin stood to one side of the room, pondering how to deal with the Druid. He might be a powerful ally, but also a far more formidable enemy. He didn't care what was happening in the room. He didn't care about the fate of Joffrey or Cersei, because he had Tommen as a backup. As long as someone of Lannister blood ascended the throne next, he didn't care who it was.
"You fool! Are you trying to sabotage my campaign? How dare you say such things in front of so many people! You've nearly cost me twenty thousand men, and twenty thousand the North soldiers are worth twice as much as southern soldiers."
He slapped Joffrey and said.
"I don't care what you do at this time, nor do I care about your opinions of other kingdoms, but if you continue to openly insult them like this, I will personally rip out your tongue."
" Tywin, I want that knight's head. How dare he attack a knight protected by Guest Right!"
Cersei said.
We can say he didn't infringe on the guest's rights; we can say he was protecting the prince.
"Do you really think the lords of the North would accept this? If you can't control your dogs, you know they have to be euthanized."
Robert turned to Tywin and said.
"He's lost his sword arm; just cut off his head, and that damned beast will be fine until my battle is over. Do you understand what I mean? No one can jeopardize my battle, my war!"
Tywin and the other kings calmed down a bit and gestured for Cersei to take Joffrey away. He then signaled to the servants to bring the king wine. He sat calmly in a chair, waiting for Robert to finish a jug of wine. During this time, he devised many plans, refining them in his mind because he knew nothing about Druid. After the king had calmed down a bit, he asked...
"My king, what are your plans to deal with that Druid?"
"What can we do? He can Summon Lightning and cause Earthquake. Should we shoot down every golden eagle we see, or stop walking on the ground?"
"I don't think he could cause Earthquake enough to level Citadel. If he had that kind of power, it wouldn't just shake Casterly Rock; it would at least level several buildings."
"You mean he's bluffing? Want to ask Manden Moore? He blew that poor guy up."
"Please forgive my rudeness, but if he were truly so invincible, he would be sitting on the Iron Throne. Why are we only hearing about him now? I don't believe for a second that he's here to help with the war."
Robert was beginning to think Tywin's words made sense, but he didn't intend to Verification today. He just wanted to start a war and smash some heads.
"We should go find Ned Stark and ask him about it."
Robert nodded, and a Kingsguard set off to find Eddard Stark.
Eddard hated Robert for being humiliated, but he couldn't help feeling a sense of pride in being a North.
" Ned, how is the morale of your troops? Are they ready for war?"
Robert asked the question with a heavy heart; he didn't want to lose the North's finest vanguard army.
"They yearn to fight for you, my king."
" Ned, don't give me sweet talk, tell me the truth."
Eddard sighed.
"They are angry at the prince's view of us and our religion, but we will keep our oath as people of the North."
"Then tell me everything you know about this Druid."
Eddard told them everything he knew, but not much. He said the Druid had healed thousands of patients and tended to their wounds.
"To the people of the North, he remains a respectable man. A few years ago, he appeared out of nowhere."
He told them how he had saved Bear Island and how he had killed thousands of Ironborn. As he recounted the Druid ' exploits, the air in the room grew heavy. Robert spoke angrily.
What is he planning?
"I asked him the same question, and he said the Old Gods sent him to help the North prosper."
"Have you talked to him before?"
"Yes, he came to me before I left Winterfell and said he would help defend the North, but I didn't take him seriously at the time. Back then, he was just a healer."
Eddard disliked the deception, but essentially, he wasn't lying. That's what Aermir told him, and he was willing to believe it. After so much hardship in the North, it was time for some better days. He was willing to believe the Old Gods were protecting them. At that moment, a little black rat was watching everything unfold.
I rushed toward the boy, shoved Cersei aside, and grabbed him by the neck.
