(Third-person perspective)
As Aermir's army advanced steadily, the territory conquered also expanded. Caught off guard, the enemy struggled to mount an effective defense without a unified strategy. Aermir's decision to divide his forces and maintain secrecy by eliminating messengers proved crucial to the success of the campaign.
The flying familiars continued their aerial patrols, ensuring that no news of the invasion reached the enemy commanders. Aermir's far-sighted approach not only secured victories on multiple fronts but also laid the foundation for a swift and decisive conquest of unsuspecting territory.

In the war room, flickering with torchlight, low murmurs of discussion echoed. The war's commander-in-chief Yohn Royce, sat at the head of a long wooden table, surrounded by his advisors. Before them lay a magnificent map detailing the territory they were to defend, currently beset by the divine power of the Emre the Druid and the relentless attacks of the Lord Drasil' army.
Alistair, a disheveled but sharp-minded advisor, spoke first. "My lord," he said, "The orcas controlled by the Emre the Druid are a force to be reckoned with. They are sinking every ship we send and severing our lifeline to the mainland."
Yohn Royce frowned, his eyes fixed on the troublesome map. "Our sea routes are disrupted, our supply lines are cut off. We need a new approach."
While her husband was away, Lady Elara, who was the regent of Lord Torrent, said, "Lord, we should seek help."
"Sir, we should seek help from those who understand the ocean. They are just animals. Can't we hunt them down?"
Lady Elara is right; Yohn Royce nodded thoughtfully. "Send word to gather all those experienced in harpooning and whaling; we must hunt these beasts."
Yohn Royce frowned. "We must quickly resolve the orca problem while strengthening our defenses before the Druid and Drasil attack the island."
Just as the plan was about to be implemented, an unforeseen threat loomed large. Unbeknownst to them, Poe and Erebus circled in the sky, intercepting any messengers or Crow attempting to uncover the truth of the predicament. The operations room remained completely unaware of the silent sabotage by the magical sentinels.
The moon hung high in the night sky, casting a silvery glow upon Longsister. The lagoon's waters were crystal clear, like a captivating paradise. Yet, for Rep, it was an insurmountable challenge. He had attempted to infiltrate the harbor under cover of darkness, trying to destroy the last remnants of the enemy ships. However, the clear waters seemed like a curse. Rep's memory was etched with that failed attempt; a friend of his had perished in the mission.
A few days ago
The morning sun cast a golden glow over Longsister. Under the cover of sunlight, the people of the Three Sisters maneuvered a fleet of 35 small fishing boats toward a location a few kilometers outside the harbor. Each boat carried ten crew members armed with fishing nets and spears.
The first rays of dawn illuminated the fishing nets, which were skillfully tossed into the water, forming a tangled web. Spears gleamed in the sunlight, poised and ready for a swift and precise attack.
The first wave of attacks came from Rep and his team, who sank three fishing boats. Then, everything went into chaos. Suddenly, the tranquil morning air was shattered by the commotion. Fishing nets crisscrossed the water, attempting to ensnare the orcas, while spears thrust downwards, trying to pierce their agile opponents.
Amidst chaos and tragedy, the once tranquil sea has become turbulent. Three lives have been claimed in this fierce conflict. Rep, controlling three of his own kind, can only helplessly glare at the other orcas in his pod, who act independently and become victims of human attacks.
As the surviving orcas attempted to escape, they encountered insidious fishing nets that entangled them in a web of terror and despair. Unable to break free, the orcas surfaced to breathe fresh air, only to be met with relentless attacks from spears.
Enraged, Rep's eyes gleamed with grief and fury. His magic surged, displaying immense dominance as he unleashed his fury upon the small sailboat. Under Rep's retaliatory attack, nearly half of the boat was smashed to pieces and sank to the bottom of the sea.
But revenge comes at a price. The tangled fishing nets became even more chaotic, now floating in the air like Ghost tendrils, still threatening the remaining members of Rep's group. His heart sank, realizing that danger was closing in on them.
Rep used magic to strengthen his skin, so that the spears could only cause superficial lacerations. His eyes gleamed with determination as he weaved through the ever-shrinking gaps between the nets, with his controlled orca close behind.
Rep's wisdom surpassed that of his companions. Realizing that they were unable to avoid the dangerous fishing nets, he carved out a path to safety himself. With each bite, he would grab a corner of the net and pull it in the opposite direction, methodically creating openings in the tangled web so that his group could dive deeper.
The waters around Rep had become a frenzied battlefield, filled with shouts, splashes, and the tearing of nets as he cleared a path for his people. The magic flowing through his veins had become a powerful regenerative force, fueling his relentless efforts. Every spear and harpoon was aimed at him, and with each strike, the slight lacerations deepened. If he couldn't unravel them, his people would perish. He ripped a hole wide enough for an orca to pass through with his magic-infused jaws.
The battle was over; they had successfully hunted down many orcas, and the rest were retreating into the deep sea. The Three Sisters people began to celebrate their victory. Rep realized he had underestimated the enemy.
Consumed by uncontrollable rage and a thirst for revenge, he watched helplessly as his pod of orcas retreated into the deep sea. The pain of losing seven members still burned within him, fueling his insatiable desire for vengeance. Rep swam alone toward the celebrations of the Three Sisters people.
Approaching 25 ships from the Three Sisters, Rep faced a new challenge. The fishing nets left over from previous skirmishes made it nearly impossible for him to get close enough to sink them. The deadly spikes on his armor, intended for attack, were rendered useless against the sturdy nets.
In a flash of inspiration, Rep relinquished control of the magic protecting his skin. Instead, he released the magic into the surrounding water. Suddenly, a surge of power enveloped him, and he began to fly at incredible speed around the Three Sisters ' ships. They sang and celebrated as they swam toward the harbor. The sea seemed to respond to the magic he released, amplifying his power, but at a price.
As Rep continued his high-speed circling, his relentless pace took its toll. The sea, both his ally and his adversary, constantly drained his energy. This very force, which had once given him the power of revenge, now consumed his stamina, making it difficult for him to maintain his speed.
Despite being exhausted, Rep's anger and determination overcame the physical strain. He pushed himself to the limit, refusing to yield until he had brought justice to the dead orca members.
Amidst terrified screams, a fisherman more astute than the others grasped the essence of their predicament. As he understood this horrifying truth, a sense of horror arose within him. To warn the other sailors, he cried out urgently.
"Whirlpool!"
The word echoed across the turbulent sea, a chilling proclamation of impending disaster; they were so close to the port, the land almost within reach. Those around him realized what was happening, but many of the Three Sisters crew, still basking in the joy of victory, now found themselves entangled in an uncontrollable force.
The two ships collided irresistibly, generating immense force. The once calm and joyous sea was transformed into a chaotic vortex of collision. The logs shattered into pieces, and the ships were reduced to fragments.
In the aftermath, the once-celebrated Three Sisters crew found themselves adrift among the wreckage of their ship; only a few of them survived. The sea was now calm, but it bore witness to the aftermath of the disaster. The whirlpools came and went quickly, leaving behind chaos and despair on the surface.
