Li Yan fought through the Dark Spirit Demon Bats, rescued his companions, and learned how the clan’s failing restrictions worked. Meng Zhiyuan then betrayed him by sending him into Venerable Duanmu’s cave abode, where Li Yan found Mu Guyue recovering from her injuries.

• Mu Guyue hid in a cave while the golden-robed man attacked its entrance, and Yang’s attempt to locate the restriction’s life gate instead caused the passage to collapse and unleash the Dark Spirit Demon Bats.
• The bats pursued the separated cultivators through connected tunnels, and Li Yan captured Yang before defeating their four-winged leader, Meng Zhiyuan, and forcing him to call off the swarm.
• Li Yan rescued Xing Ming and Feng Moru, learned that Xuan Caijun had died, and negotiated with Meng Zhiyuan to guide them toward an exit.
• After testing the one-way passage, Li Yan learned that Venerable Duanmu’s lingering divine soul imprint guarded the dangerous corridors, then emerged with Meng Zhiyuan and gave him the promised antidote.
• Meng Zhiyuan activated a restriction that transported Li Yan, Xing Ming, and Feng Moru into a cave abode, while he and his clan remained outside.
• Li Yan searched the empty abode and learned from Meng Zhiyuan’s memories how the stranded bat clan had maintained its failing formations by sacrificing prey and cultivators.

Li Yan reunited with Zhao Min and hid her inside Tuban after learning that the Holy Devil Palace planned to make her Dao Yu’s Dao Companion. When powerful cultivators attacked the spatial treasure, a Daoist recognized Li Yan as Dong Fuyi’s inheritor.

• Mu Guyue caught Li Yan in the sea cave, and after they were overcome by poison, Li Yan escaped with Xing Ming and Feng Moru and swore them to secrecy.
• Li Yan returned to Falling Star Valley, where he restrained Shuang Wuyan over the secret sea cave and kept her there under a poison threat.
• After forty years of seclusion, Li Yan reached the middle Golden Core Realm and discovered that the Purple God Dragon-Elephant had hatched as Zi Kun.
• Zhao Min told Li Yan that the Holy Devil Palace planned to make her Dao Yu’s Dao Companion, so Li Yan hid her in Tuban.
• Dao Yu attacked Li Yan in his courtyard, but Li Yan wounded his eye and escaped into Tuban with Zhao Min.
• Mo Yu and Lan Bing found Tuban and tried to refine it while Li Yan and Zhao Min feared being trapped inside.
• A Daoist entered Tuban, restrained Li Yan and the others, recognized Li Yan’s connection to the Gui Water True Scripture and the Five Immortal Sects, then confirmed he was Dong Fuyi’s inheritor.

True Lord Qianzhong helped Li Yan and Zhao Min escape the Lost Continent through the Chencang Passage, and they arrived on the Qingqing Continent. After rescuing the persecuted Giant Wood Clan, they traveled toward Tingyun Country and clashed with Tielianggu’s people.

• True Lord Qianzhong revealed his connection to Pangu Sand, confronted the Holy Devil Palace elders over Zhao Min, and took Li Yan and Zhao Min to an intact Chencang Passage.
• Li Yan and Zhao Min traveled through the passage with Meng Zhiyuan and more than six hundred Dark Spirit Demon Bats, while True Lord Qianzhong destroyed the array behind them.
• Li Yan and Zhao Min emerged on the Qingqing Continent, where Meng Zhiyuan led his clan away and the pair crossed the sea in search of cultivators and information.
• Agu Xi told Li Yan and Zhao Min that the Tianlan Clan was hunting the Giant Wood Clan, but they left before deciding whether to help.
• After Tianlan pursuers attacked and nearly destroyed Agu Xi’s group, Li Yan and Zhao Min appeared and made the attackers vanish.
• Li Yan and Zhao Min gave Agu Xi’s clan supplies and shelter, then traveled south toward Tingyun Country after learning about the long conflict between it and the Tianlan Clan.
• Tielianggu and Wutu confronted Li Yan and Zhao Min at the border, and the pair struck at them before fleeing as Tianlan clansmen pursued them through the grass.

Li Yan and Zhao Min escaped the Tianlan Grasslands, survived a Watercloud Beast avatar’s attack, and learned how difficult it would be to return to the Desolate Moon Continent. They helped Aguxi reunite the grassland survivors with the Giant Wood Clan, where the clan’s chief welcomed them and offered Snow-Covering Clarity Tea.

• Li Yan and Zhao Min poisoned and captured Tielianggu, fought off Wutu and the others, then escaped with a Life-Chasing Talisman marking Li Yan.
• The Grand Heavenly Master sent his Watercloud Beast avatar after Li Yan and Zhao Min, but their combined cold-based attacks wounded it and forced it to flee.
• Li Yan and Zhao Min reached Tingyun Kingdom, passed its entry tests, and learned from Returning Home that returning to the Desolate Moon Continent required a long route through multiple realms.
• Li Yan and Zhao Min set out for the Giant Wood Clan, while Su Hong recognized Li Yan’s message and waited for her old friend from the snowy cave.
• Aguxi reached the Giant Wood Clan, revealed the suffering of its grassland branch, and persuaded the clan chief to investigate the betrayal that had hidden the branch’s disappearance.
• The Giant Wood Clan leaders exposed the traitors, and Aini and Aisang brought Aguxi’s surviving clansmen to the clan.
• Ting Bixiao thanked Li Yan and Zhao Min, offered Snow-Covering Clarity Tea to Aguxi and his survivors, and Li Yan cautiously drank his cup.
