Meanwhile, Mu Guyue found the Black Jade Mysterious Dragon Grass in the Devil-Devouring Abyss but was poisoned by its guardian, while the rival groups prepared to enter the cave’s sealed chambers.

• Li Yan killed the two cultivators who had attacked Shuang Chongshan’s family, cured Shuang Chongshan’s poison, and learned that they belonged to the Duye spirit-plant race.
• Shuang Chongshan recounted how Ma and Gao discovered the family’s puppet-making legacy and poisoned him to demand the Shenju Art, but Li Yan refused to claim the inheritance and offered the family protection.
