The arc ended as Shangguan Tianque and Scholar Wei entered the Blood Tuo Lamp trial, with the rotating lampshade raising concern that they might be forced into conflict.

• Li Yan and Tang Feng left the Dizhen Domain, crossed the Heavenly Demon Grassland, and parted when Tang Feng chose to travel alone.
• Li Yan reunited with Mu Guyue, learned that Mu Sha was their son, and brought Mu Guyue and Tinglan out of danger while altering Tinglan’s memories.
• Li Yan and Mu Guyue returned to the Po Jun Sect, where Mu Guyue joined as an elder and Li Yan resumed contact with Shangguan Tianque and Ren Yanyu.

Li Yan cleared the Blood Tuo Lamp trial for the Po Jun Sect, then joined a battle against the Mingyan Sect inside the Mountain River Diagram. After Mu Guyue killed Ling Shan, the Po Jun Sect survivors faced approaching Spirit Transformation cultivators and waited for an opening.

• Shangguan Tianque and Master Wei failed to clear the Blood Tuo Lamp, but Li Yan used the Fuxi Disc’s yang power and his own strength to defeat the thousand-zhang guardian and pass the trial.
• Han Zhumei also cleared the lamp trial, and Elder Fang sent qualified cultivators into the Mountains and Rivers Painting to fight using marks with about seventy percent of their strength.
• Mu Guyue organized the Po Jun Sect’s defenses inside the painting while Li Yan scouted alone and clashed with Han Zhumei in the fog before both withdrew.
• Mu Guyue used Forging Devils to strengthen her fighters, and Ren Yanyu activated a grand formation that trapped Ling Shan and the Bright Flame Sect team.
• The Po Jun Sect fighters overwhelmed Ling Shan’s forces, while Ling Shan’s apparent death expelled her from the diagram and left the Po Jun Sect badly wounded.
