Fishing equipment was provided on the yacht, but Yan Heqing still brought a suitcase.
Lu Lin unbuttoned his suitcase and went over, glancing at it. "What did you bring?"
Yan Heqing raised the corners of his mouth. "It's a secret."
Lu Lin chuckled, didn't ask any more questions, changed into a set of casual, loose-fitting clothes, and left the villa with Yan Heqing to go out to sea.
The yacht was purchased along with the island. It's slightly smaller than Lu Lin's private yacht in China, but it's just the right size for the two of them to go out to sea.
It was a suite of moderate size, with a very luxurious interior decoration.
Lu Lin taught Yan Heqing how to steer the boat, and soon they were far from the island. There was no more light around them. The entire sea was bathed in moonlight, and the yacht, like a moving light source, drew a shimmering ribbon of light across the surface.
Upon arrival, the yacht stopped. Yan Heqing's first time sailing, and it was nighttime, so he was highly focused, and fine beads of sweat appeared on his forehead.
Lu Lin smiled and said, "You're not dizzy this time, are you?"
Yan Heqing let out a breath and quickly smiled, "Yes, I won't get seasick anymore."
"You're sweating so much." Lu Lin ran his thumb across Yan Heqing's forehead. "Go wash your face."
Yan Heqing's eyes flickered. He went to the bathroom and sent Lu Lin out, saying, "You go fishing first, I'm going to take a shower."
Lu Lin glanced at the suitcase against the wall out of the corner of his eye, ruffled Yan Heqing's hair, and went out.
Lu Lin cast the net and sat down to bait the fish, but he was somewhat absent-minded, his gaze frequently drifting towards the stairwell.
A short while later, Yan Heqing came out.
He changed his clothes again. The moonlight fell on his white suit, and the young man looked clean Qingqing, even more captivating than the moonlight.
Lu Lin's throat was terribly dry, so he hung the bait on the hook and threw it into the sea.
When Yan Heqing came over, he pulled him into his arms, his lips brushing against his cool earlobe, a light, almost imperceptible kiss. "Going fishing in formal attire, who are you trying to catch?"
Yan Heqing's eyes were bright and clear. He generously and proactively kissed Lu Lin's cheek, " Lu Lin, happy marriage."
This time, Lu Lin punished him by biting his earlobe, "Do you still want to go fishing?"
Yan Heqing had planned this wedding night as early as yesterday. He leaned close to Lu Lin's earlobe and whispered, "I'm fishing."
Lu Lin's rationality completely collapsed. He kicked away the fishing rod, picked up Yan Heqing, and quickly went back to the room.
The bedroom lights were off, only the moonlight from outside the window shone in, making the young man's skin appear as white as snow.
Lu Lin completely abandoned his plan to return to the island the next morning. When the moonlight turned into a pale golden light, he carried the exhausted Yan Heqing had fallen asleep instantly, to the bathroom to clean him up. He cleaned the young man thoroughly, applied medicine, and then went back to the bedroom to change the bedding before putting him in bed.
He picked up the clothes scattered on the carpet before going to bed.
Time passed slowly, and the pale light turned into bright sunlight. Yan Heqing was still fast asleep. Lu Lin quietly got out of bed and went to collect the net. The night's harvest was quite fruitful: two buckets of fish and one bucket of crabs, scallops, and shrimp.
Lu Lin called his assistant and asked him to arrange for the guests to return home after lunch. Then he took several buckets of seafood to the kitchen to prepare lunch.
With fresh ingredients, Lu Lin didn't make anything too complicated. He cooked crab porridge, salt and pepper mantis shrimp, a mixed seafood soup, and a vegetable and fruit salad.
Then he went back to the bedroom and called Yan Heqing to get up.
Yan Heqing was unusually still asleep, his breathing even and steady. Lu Lin couldn't bear to wake him, so he lifted the covers, got into bed, and hugged him to continue sleeping.
Yan Heqing was awakened by the heat.
He opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was the bright light outside the window. Before he could fully regain his senses, he heard the sound of the waves and remembered that he and Lu Lin had gone out to sea.
He was held tightly in Lu Lin's arms. He turned his head and met Lu Lin's eyes. Seeing that he was awake, Lu Lin lowered his head and kissed him. Yan Heqing raised his hand and covered his mouth. "You haven't brushed your teeth yet."
Lu Lin's mouth was covered by his, but he didn't pull away. His hot breath made Yan Heqing's palms burn. "I've already brushed my teeth."
Yan Heqing turned to the bedside to get his phone, and paused for a second when he saw the time.
He slept until after 3 p. m...
There was also a text message from Chu Ziyu--
"We're heading back now. You two enjoy your time together!"
Yan Heqing withdrew his hand and got out of bed. "Aren't you going to wake me up?"
There was a hint of complaint in his voice. Lu Lin chuckled, followed him out of bed, and into the bathroom. Leaning against the door, she watched Yan Heqing wash up, a smile playing on her lips. "Don't worry, I told you we're going on our honeymoon."
Yan Heqing wrung out the towel, wiped the toothpaste foam from the corner of his mouth, turned his head and saw Lu Lin still smiling. A slight blush rose to his face. "How could you go back on your word..."
Last night, Lu Lin said "this is the last time" several times...
Lu Lin stepped forward and wrapped her arms around him from behind, took the towel and helped him rinse off, gently kissing his forehead. "I warned you before, I'm good at lying in negotiations."
Yan Heqing couldn't refute it. He took the towel to wipe his face and decided to skip the question.
What do you want to eat?
Lu Lin then remembered the lunch he had made.
When the two arrived at the dining room, all the food on the table had gone cold. Lu Lin wanted to cook something else, but Yan Heqing scooped up a spoonful of crab porridge, which was sweet and soft. He called out to Lu Lin, "Don't bother, it's okay if it's cold."
Lu Lin usually wouldn't mind, but Yan Heqing was overworked today, and he was worried that eating cold food would upset his stomach, so Lu Lin took it away. "I'll take care of this one and make you a new one."
Yan Heqing used to eat cold rice and soup when he was sick, and he knew his body could handle it. But looking at Lu Lin's busy figure, he didn't refuse this concern this time. He smiled and said, "I'm going fishing for a while."
Lu Lin peeled shrimp without turning around, saying, "If you're hungry, eat some snacks first."
Yan Heqing responded and went downstairs.
Lu Lin cooked a new hot meal, Yan Heqing also caught two salmon, enough for him and Lu Lin to eat for several meals.
During the meal, Lu Lin asked Yan Heqing where she wanted to go for her honeymoon. There were still two weeks until August, and he wanted to take Yan Heqing on a trip first.
The two ate on the terrace, where a cool sea breeze blew in from three sides. Yan Heqing put down his bowl and said earnestly, "This place is quite nice. Let's stay a few more days and go back to the island to stay with Mom until the end of the month."
