Ace stood before a massive, ever-changing sphere of liquid metal, his face clouded with worry. This was the last unregistered invention, its purpose unknown, discovered in one of Vegapunk's secret laboratories; codenamed " Chaos Slime."
"So... what does it want to become today?" Ace asked Sentomaru beside him.
Sentomaru, holding the record board, reported, "Commander, in the past 24 hours, it has attempted to transform into: a toilet plunger, a miniature model of the Red Line, a wig, and... your face."
Ace stared at the blurry, distorted face writhing on the surface of the metallic slime, and a chill ran down his spine. "... Make it turn back!"
Researcher A: "Try burning it with the Flame of World Purification at a low intensity?"
The soft mud suddenly contracted, transforming into a hard lightning rod.
Researcher B: "How about trying cryogenic freezing?"
The slime instantly expanded, transforming into a giant, sticky fishing net that trapped several researchers.
Ace sighed, "Doctor... why did you even create this thing...?"
At this moment, the PX-0 pancake robot glides over, and its robotic arm hands over a freshly made pancake with a question mark pattern printed on it.
The Chaos Slime seemed attracted to the pancake, wriggled over, and transformed into... a metal pancake tongs, attempting to grab the pancake.
