Scene 1: The Science Department's "Retro" Trend and Safety Lecture
Ace discovers that while people are pursuing the latest technology, a "retro" trend is quietly emerging. People in many regions are beginning to take an interest in technologies from before the Vegapunk era, or even earlier.
A researcher ran up excitedly. "Commander! Look at this! A few young people have recreated a model of the first steam-powered locomotive based on ancient texts! Although it's inefficient, it's very creative!"
Another researcher expressed concern. "But... some people are trying to recreate some dangerous old weapons, and some are even trying to dig up graves to find Devil Fruit Encyclopedia..."
Ace looked at the report and thought for a moment, "It's better to guide than to block. Organize a 'Science and Technology History Exhibition and Safety Experience Hall,' replicating those ancient and relatively safe inventions for everyone to experience. Also, hold a safety lecture specifically about the dark history of those dangerous inventions, such as 'One Hundred Ways to Die on Dyna Stone,' with PX-0 as the host."
Sentomaru: "Got it! So the lecture will be called... 'The Complete Guide to Scientific Suicide: The Pitfalls Our Seniors Tried'?"
Ace: "... That's roughly the idea." (Something feels off)
Scene Two: The Intelligence Department's "Historical Declassification" Column and the Sweet Burden
Sabo adopted Robin's suggestion and started a "History Unveiled" column in the official newspaper, with Robin personally writing articles to tell a true story that Imu had covered up each week.
The first episode tells the story of how the people of a small country persevered in passing down their unique songs and dances during a dark age.
The second episode introduces the medicinal value of an almost extinct ancient plant and the cultural symbolism behind it.
The column was a huge hit, and newspaper sales soared. But it also brought a sweet burden—people from all over the country were sending in a flood of letters and packages containing family heirlooms, oral histories, or even just a few lines of strange folk songs passed down from their ancestors, all hoping Robin could help identify or decipher them.
Robin's makeshift office was overflowing. While she enjoyed it, she was also somewhat overwhelmed. Sabo had to send two more people to help her organize and categorize, and they were considering establishing a dedicated "civilian history archive."
Scene 3: The "Little Guests" and "New Adventure" of the Freedom Ark
Pluton welcomed a group of special visitors—children from all over the world (on a school-organized study tour).
Luffy initially found it noisy, until he discovered that children were far more interested in his adventure stories than adult fans, and that they would bring all sorts of delicious snacks as "story fees."
So he enthusiastically (embellishing his story) recounted his adventures on Sky Island, Enies Lobby, and Fish-Man Island, even demonstrating his rubber powers on the spot, making the children laugh heartily. Usopp, in particular, had a chance to showcase his boasting skills to the fullest. Chopper was surrounded by the children asking him all sorts of questions, and although he was shy, he was very happy. Franky demonstrated his robot, Brook played music, Sanji made nutritious lunches for the children, Nami... took the opportunity to sell Pluton souvenirs and financial management manuals to the teachers.
A little boy looked up at Luffy and asked, "Big brother Luffy, will there be pirates as powerful as you guys in the future?"
Luffy picked his nose. "Pirate? What's the point of being a pirate? I don't have to steal meat anymore. Being an adventurer is much more fun! Finding islands no one has ever seen, making friends with strange animals, and helping those in need! That's what freedom is!"
The children's eyes sparkled. Perhaps, the Seed of a new generation of adventurers were quietly sown at that moment.
Scene 4: Allen's "Silent Observation" and Unexpected Gains
Allen remained quietly in his tower most of the time, sensing the flow of time and space through the Power of Zhulong. He noticed that as the truth of history was gradually revealed, the resentment of time and space accumulated over hundreds of years due to Imu's distortion of history, as well as the folds caused by historical ruptures, were slowly and gradually smoothing themselves out. The flow of time throughout the world became smoother and more vibrant.
One day, while tracing a timeline, he unexpectedly "salvaged" a tiny, almost vanished bubble of memory. Inside was a scene: hundreds of years ago, an ordinary father and son were working in the fields. The father was teaching his son to recognize the stars and telling him ancient legends about them. There was no earth-shattering history, only ordinary and warm family affection.
Allen watched the short video in silence for a long time before carefully putting it away. Perhaps these ordinary, real moments are the most precious parts of history and what the future needs to protect the most.
Scene 5: The Heritage of the Foosha Village
Garp, unusually, didn't wander around aimlessly. Instead, he sat in Makino's tavern in Foosha Village, watching the village children chase and play. A snotty-nosed little boy held up a wooden stick, imitating Luffy: " Gum-Gum —Pistol!"
Garp laughed heartily, scooped up the little boy, and exclaimed, "Wrong posture! This is how you apply force! Watch closely! Fist Bone— "
Makino quickly stopped him. " Mr. Garp! Don't throw the child out again!"
Garp awkwardly put the child down and rubbed his head. "Well... what do you want to be when you grow up? A Marine? No, wait, they call them sheriffs now... or an adventurer? Like Luffy?"
The little boy blinked. "I want to open the world's largest barbecue restaurant!"
Garp was taken aback for a moment, then burst into even louder laughter. "Hahaha! Good! A barbecue restaurant is fine! Whatever you do is fine! As long as you're happy and upright, that's all that matters!"
The sunshine of the new era shines on the Foosha Village, peaceful and warm. The shadows of the past are gradually fading, and the story of the future will be written by these children who grow freely under the sun, in their own way. The past turbulent times have ultimately become the foundation for protecting the ordinary daily life. Perhaps this is the best ending.
