In the center of the Star Sea Ark's control hall, the beam of light that shot into the sky gradually subsided, eventually transforming into three objects floating in the air, exuding a soft yet profound aura that perfectly complemented the style of this ancient ship.
The first item is a crystal-clear, multifaceted crystal, with what appears to be a galaxy flowing within, and countless tiny symbols of light appearing and disappearing within it. This is the " Crystal of All Knowledge," storing the pioneers' in-depth research on the rules of the world, the structure of the multiverse, the characteristics of dimensional barriers, and their vast knowledge base of analysis and coping strategies for various energies (including extraterrestrial energies).
The second item is an extremely complex compass composed of countless tiny gears and luminous runes. Its pointer is not a physical object, but rather made of pure energy, trembling slightly as it points in multiple directions. This is the " Domain Compass," capable of detecting and locating weak points and abnormal energy areas in different dimensions. It can even track energy remnants in specific dimensions to a certain extent, making it a key tool for dimensional exploration and monitoring.
The third item was a blue crystal, resembling a liquid gemstone, with wisps of light slowly flowing within it. It emanated stable, inclusive, and powerful fluctuations of spatial rules. The Guardian Spirit explained that this was a fragment of the " Boundary Stone," a byproduct of the pioneers' experiments in stabilizing dimensions. It possessed the powerful abilities to stabilize spatial structures, calm turbulent flow of rules, and even temporarily isolate the erosion of otherworldly energy within a certain range. While a complete Boundary Stone might be able to repair large-scale dimensional damage, this fragment was sufficient to serve as an "anchor" for protecting a ship or a small base.
"These legacies... are exactly what we need right now!" Allen looked at the three items, especially the Boundary Stone Fragment, his eyes filled with hope. With it, the efficiency of repairing the spatial rifts torn apart by the Otherworldly Demons would be greatly improved, and it might even be possible to find a way to prevent new rifts from forming.
Nami, however, was fascinated by the Domain Compass: "With this, we can actively monitor those weak points in space, and might even find other 'invasion points' of that dying dimension in our universe!"
Luffy wasn't particularly interested in knowledge and tools, but he sensed their usefulness in protecting his crew and home, so he perked up. "Oh! Can we use these to completely shut down those guys who keep burrowing around outside?"
The Guardian Spirit's voice rang out, carrying the relief of having completed its mission: "The legacy has been handed over. The Crystal of All Knowledge requires spiritual communication, the Domain Compass requires willpower and spatial perception to drive it, and the Boundary Stone Fragment needs to be activated with energy and bound to the guardian's will. How you use it is up to you."
Its powerful presence began to fade. "My mission is nearing its end. The pioneers explored the unknown, and they revered it. They left these things so that those who followed would be better prepared to face the challenges from beyond the Xinghai, not for conquest. May you use this power wisely, to protect, not to destroy..."
As the voice faded, the Guardian Spirit vanished completely, and the Star Sea Ark seemed to lose its last bit of spirituality, becoming truly silent and turning into a historical monument floating in the universe.
The Straw Hat Pirates accepted this weighty gift with utmost respect. It was not only a passing down of power, but also a responsibility.
Back on the Thousand Sunny, the team immediately sprang into action.
Together with Allen, Robin immersed his mind in the Crystal of All Knowledge, beginning to search for knowledge related to the properties of otherworldly energy, the repair of dimensional barriers, and dealing with the " Return to Nothingness " rule. They needed to find a more effective and lasting solution, rather than simply passively patching up the cracks one by one.
Nami and Franky then began studying the Domain Compass. They needed to master its use in order to scan known star systems, identify potential risks, and attempt to trace other possible connection points of that dying dimension.
Allen personally handled the Boundary Stone Fragment. He placed it in the core compartment of the Thousand Sunny, resonating with it through his Power of Definition and the essence of the Seed of the World Seed, thus activating it. An invisible, stable spatial force field spread out from the Boundary Stone, enveloping the entire ship. Within this force field, the rules became more stable, and everyone clearly felt that the subtle, residual erosion of rules from the other world had disappeared, even their mental fatigue recovered somewhat faster.
"Great! With this, it'll be much safer for us to repair the crack!" Chopper said happily.
"Moreover, perhaps we can use it as a foundation to create larger-scale stabilization devices and place them on important planets or star system entrances!" Usopp began to use his imagination.
Having grasped the basics of how to use the legacy, the Straw Hat Pirates's next goal was very clear: to use their newly acquired knowledge and tools to take the initiative, thoroughly investigate and repair all spatial rifts within the universe caused by the resonance of that dying dimension, and establish an early warning mechanism to prevent future invasions.
The Thousand Sunny, a ship that already carried dreams, now bears an additional responsibility of protection, setting sail once more for those star systems in need of assistance.
