Chapter Summaries

Bai Yu overwhelmed Mystogan in a fight, healed him with a Senzu Bean, and invited him to bathe, only for Tornado and several other women to arrive and leave Tornado wondering who was truly pitiful. Elsewhere, Ultear met General Brain at the Fiore border and asked whether he would restore Jellal after her Tower of Paradise plan failed.

• Mystogan used Seven-Layered Magic Circle: Nothingness, but Bai Yu’s Phantom Sword Dance shattered it and sent Mystogan flying into the river.
• Bai Yu apologized to Mystogan, gave him a Senzu Bean that healed his injuries, and invited him to bathe.
• Tornado arrived in a bathing kimono and found several other women gathered with Bai Yu, leaving her to wonder whether she was the pitiful one.
• General Brain called Ultear out aboard a magic airship near the Kingdom of Fiore’s border.
• Ultear asked General Brain whether he had decided to restore Jellal after the Tower of Paradise plan failed.

Ultear joined Brain and the other members of Oración Seis aboard an airship, where they discussed unlocking Nirvana and the threat of Fairy Tail. After Ultear identified Bai Yu as the person who had ruined Jellal’s plans, Oración Seis dismissed his strength and prepared to pursue their own goals.

• Brain told Ultear that Jellal was still their ally and that unlocking Nirvana would let them reverse good and evil across the world.
• Brain promised Ultear that Oración Seis would succeed where Jellal had failed and asked which Fairy Tail member she wanted dead.
• Ultear named Bai Yu as the person she was watching, explaining that he was a Fairy Tail newcomer who had defeated Phantom Lord and become a Wizard Saint.
