Chapter Summaries

Wild Hunt tortured a young woman in the capital while its members discussed the lack of schools for children. At the palace, Esdeath informed the Jaegers that they had been transferred to Lin Feng’s command and prepared to operate alone, expecting to rejoin them soon.

Run recognized the clown-like man he believed had murdered his students, and Esdeath directed him to work with Wild Hunt in the Empire's Seventh District. Run set out to end his long pursuit of revenge, while Wild Hunt continued abusing captive women in a local bar.

The next day, Champ waited at a bar for Run, who had invited him for a drink, and saw a golden-haired figure approach.
