Following the turbulence and shifting powers within the gangs, he eventually goes missing, leading to his capture and enslavement in the Moros Central Gladiatorial Arena under Princess Stika 357 373 414. After being rescued by Suren and the Dawn Pirates, Kai officially joins their ranks and participates in major conflicts against imperial forces 414 484.
