Background / History

Bibi Dong was raised and trained by Spirit Hall, becoming its Saintess and Qian Xunji’s student. As a young woman, she fell deeply in love with Yu Xiaogang. His later recollections reveal that he pursued her partly to gain access to Spirit Hall’s martial-soul research and find a solution to his own cultivation limitations 25 81 105.

Qian Xunji sexually assaulted and imprisoned her in a secret chamber, releasing her after she became pregnant with Qian Renxue. Bibi Dong’s relationship with Yu Xiaogang ended, while her nominal marriage to Qian Xunji left her feeling trapped. She hoped her twin martial souls would eventually let her surpass him and escape his control 11 12 32 102.
