The fish tail slapped against the surface of the water curtain, and the Psionic Energy glow gathered once more.
Sailesi, or rather [ Nether Crossing ]'s Psionic Energy, may have been influenced by the violence of [ Giant Arms ], or perhaps by the remnants of [ Dream of Rebirth ]. In any case, his manifested Psionic Energy body is deep red.
The color didn't look very appealing; it resembled a bloody giant whose skin had been peeled off.
Moreover, its crimson color is somewhat similar to that of Blood Corpse, giving people the feeling of "which side this guy is on?"
The glow gathered from the Whale Tail was a deep blue, like the ocean. The heavy glow gathered on the small body, and the surface of the Whale Tail began to show signs of Psionic Energy Manifestation.
Unlike Sailesi's four-armed giant, the [ Whale Tail ] Incarnation was like a mermaid, swimming between the water curtains and constantly growing larger. The second skeletal giant reappeared on the battlefield, and the morale of the skeleton soldiers, like a tire that had been repeatedly inflated, swelled up again.
An enormous, translucent fish tail slammed heavily against the water's surface.
The water, squeezed by the fish tail, was manipulated by an invisible force and continued to Spread outwards, quickly covering the entire battlefield below.
On the distant mountains, Ed subtly raised an eyebrow.
After using the [ Whale Tail ] move, I didn't see anything else, but a huge bubble appeared in my field of vision.
What does this mean? Are you telling me not to see it?
Ed pursed his lips, but he knew this was only the second senator, and it was still a long way off before he could get involved.
High in the sky on the other side, Rosalind's accumulated blood rain through her Authority had reached its limit, and she was caught in a dilemma.
The reason this move is so powerful is that it's not just an effect achieved by her own abilities, but also incorporates a portion of Wens's Drain abilities.
Grand Duke Wens possessed such vitality that he could revive in the River of Blood even after his body was completely destroyed, and Rosalind was now imitating that.
Because it wasn't entirely her own power, she couldn't maintain it for very long.
But the opportunities right now are really terrible.
If the blood rain were to fall at this moment, the countless Blood Corpse and Soul Returner mercenaries below would undoubtedly become nourishment for Rosalind to reshape her body.
But [ Whale Tail ] saw through this scheme. She stirred up a monstrous wave but did not let it collapse. Instead, she turned it into a water curtain, all for this moment.
How long can I maintain this state?
How long can the opponent's water curtain last?
Finally, Rosalind could no longer delay activating her power, and as if someone had poked a hole in the sky, a torrential downpour began.
All she could do was use the wind to slightly deflect the direction of the blood rain, preventing all the blood from falling onto the rain curtain and ensuring that her Blood Corpse could also get some.
That way, I can revive faster.
However, the water curtain of the [ Whale Tail ] was so large that, apart from a few that escaped punishment, not a single drop of the bright red and foul-smelling raindrops transformed from Blood Worm fell into the battlefield below. Instead, they were all blocked by the water curtain of the [ Whale Tail ].
The enormous curtain of water was gradually stained blood red by the torrential rain, and if you looked closely, you could see Blood Worm swimming around in the water like tadpoles.
They tried to penetrate the water curtain and fall again, crashing down on the heads of the fresh flesh below, but they couldn't do it at all.
The water curtain effect may seem mediocre, but [ Whale Tail ] had already anticipated this.
As she raised the water curtain, she maintained the reverse flow between the surface and the inside of the water curtain. Once the Blood Worm reached the edge of the water curtain, they were like animals that had fallen into a turbulent river. It was a stroke of luck if they could survive, let alone achieve their initial goal.
In the turbulent undercurrent, the Blood Worm could neither break free of the water curtain nor coalesce within it to increase their strength; they could only drift and spin like withered leaves on the water's surface.
Rosalind's dream of resurrection has Shattered, but not entirely, and the councilors know it's not that simple.
How could a High Tier Grand Duke so easily lose? Or die so easily?
The rain was indeed blocked, but in order to force Rosalind to use this move, they had previously ignored the severed body that Sailesi had thrown out.
The blood from that mangled body had flowed into the ground, and Rosalind must already be rebuilding her body.
The three lawmakers' next tactic was simple:
Find Rosalind's resurrected body and then kill her again.
Search again, kill again, search again, kill again...
This process was repeated until Rosalind was either completely dead or lost her regenerative abilities and was captured alive.
The plan seemed simple, but its execution was actually quite difficult.
For example, right now, Rosalind becomes more powerful with every second she delays.
But where exactly is this guy?
The [ Whale Tail ] swam continuously within the hemispherical water curtain, much like a friendly character in a game who can help fight from behind the scenes.
Her eyes scanned the ground, while her mind searched for Rosalind's whereabouts by following the sewer network of the Demon Realm.
She arrived here several days earlier than Rosalind and had made ample preparations for today's battle.
When the river ran out of water, she had her legions secretly dig water storage spaces.
Lacking sufficient information about the surrounding area, she connected the river and the underground water network.
And now, her preparations were finally coming in handy.
The water was flowing, and so was Rosalind's gathering blood.
Water flowed through the cracks in the rocks, and so did Rosalind's blood.
So, using the senses provided by the groundwater, [ Whale Tail ] gradually pinpointed Rosalind's location.
At this moment, the Grand Duke was slowly repairing himself underground.
And the location is...
Her eyes locked onto a spot on the battlefield below.
That was the area where the battle was most intense, littered with countless corpses.
Humans, skeletons, Blood Corpse... bits of flesh, bone fragments, limbs...
That's the perfect spot on the battlefield that Rosalind craves right now!
Devour the dregs and forge a new body!
[ Whale Tail ] noticed the fleeting reverse flow of blood on the ground, the abnormal flow and instantaneous change of direction of the liquid, and the cracks that should not have appeared between the rocks and the vortex beneath the blood flow.
I've found you!
[ Whale Tail ]'s eyes were sharp as it reached into its tail and pulled out a long bone.
The ethereal Psionic Energy in her hand mingled with the real pure water, forming a massive, icy sword that emanated a chilling aura.
This thrust interrupted Rosalind's resurrection.
This thrust of the sword plunged Rosalind into a second period of weakness!
With this thrust, the Alliance will seize the Authority of devouring!
A cold, radiant light flashed, and at that moment everyone saw the mermaid skeleton, a creature both eerie and beautiful, swimming freely in the void, launch a fatal attack from the highest point of the hemispherical water curtain, its massive tail waving with almost overflowing power.
